The temperature of the metallized pellets at the discharge port of the rotary hearth furnace is as high as about 1000 ℃, and a rotary cylinder cooler is usually adopted to cool the metallized pellets for convenient storage and transportation. In large-scale rotary hearth furnace engineering, the rotary cylinder cooling machine is long (more than 25 m), heavy (more than 80 t), and the requirement on installation accuracy is very high. At present, the construction technology of the heavy rotary cylinder cooling machine is rarely researched.
