1. A honeycomb ceramic carrier surface reinforcing coating is prepared from the following raw materials:

35-45 parts of inorganic binder;

50-60 parts by weight of inorganic fiber;

0.3 to 0.7 weight part of inorganic filler;

0.1 to 0.3 weight part of thickening agent;

2. The honeycomb ceramic carrier surface-enhancing coating of claim 1, wherein the inorganic binder is selected from one or more of silica sol, aluminum dihydrogen phosphate, aluminum sol, and sodium silicate.

3. The honeycomb ceramic carrier surface enhancing coating of claim 1, wherein the inorganic fibers are selected from one or more of aluminum silicate fibers, magnesium silicate fibers, alumina fibers, glass fibers, zirconium-containing fibers, and calcium silicate fibers.

4. The honeycomb ceramic carrier surface-enhanced coating of claim 1, wherein the inorganic filler is selected from one or more of glass powder, titanium dioxide powder and silica powder.

5. The honeycomb ceramic carrier surface enhanced coating of claim 1, wherein the thickener is selected from one or more of carboxymethyl cellulose, hydroxyethyl cellulose, and hydroxymethyl propyl cellulose.

6. A method for preparing the honeycomb ceramic carrier surface reinforcing coating of any one of claims 1 to 5, comprising the following steps:

mixing an inorganic bonding agent, inorganic fibers, an inorganic filler and a thickening agent, ball-milling, and sieving to obtain the honeycomb ceramic carrier surface reinforcing coating.

7. The preparation method according to claim 6, wherein the time for ball milling is 10-20 min.

8. The method according to claim 6, wherein the size of the mesh of the screen is 60 to 80 mesh.

9. A method of protecting a honeycomb ceramic support comprising the steps of:

coating the coating on the surface of a honeycomb ceramic carrier, drying and calcining the coating to form a protective coating on the surface of the honeycomb ceramic carrier;

the coating is the honeycomb ceramic carrier surface reinforcing coating as defined in any one of claims 1 to 5.

10. The method of claim 9, wherein the temperature of the calcining is 1000 ℃ to 1200 ℃.

Technical Field

The invention relates to the technical field of protective coatings, in particular to a honeycomb ceramic carrier surface reinforcing coating and a preparation method and application thereof.

Background

With the rapid development of economy and the increasing improvement of living standard of people in China, automobiles become an indispensable part of the life of people gradually. According to statistics, the number of automobiles in China reaches 2.4 hundred million by 2018. However, the rapid development of automobiles makes the treatment of automobile exhaust become an urgent problem to be solved. With the enhancement of the requirement of China on environmental protection, the emission standard of automobile exhaust is continuously improved, the automobile industry gradually installs an exhaust catalytic device for automobiles, and the honeycomb ceramic carrier is widely applied to the automobile exhaust catalyst carrier due to the advantages of large specific surface area, low thermal expansion coefficient, good heat insulation, light weight and the like.

Since the catalyst carrier is used for a long time in a bumpy automobile, the catalyst carrier is required to have high mechanical strength; however, the honeycomb ceramic carrier is brittle and easily broken by mechanical impact. In the prior art, protective coating is expected to be adopted to improve the mechanical property of the honeycomb ceramic carrier, for example, Chinese patent with the publication number of CN109401527A discloses thermal protective coating and a coating method thereof, wherein the thermal protective coating adopts epoxy resin, glass fiber and SiO2The particles, the filler, the curing agent, the flame retardant, the plasticizer, the weather-resistant agent and the solvent are dispersed, stirred and mixed to obtain the flame-retardant coating; but the organic matter content of the coating is high, secondary pollution can be generated by burning and generating smoke of the organic matter at high temperature, in addition, the coating has low temperature resistance, and the service temperature of the catalyst carrier can reach more than 1100 ℃. For another example, chinese patent publication No. CN1091054467A discloses a thermal protective coating and its application, wherein the raw materials of the thermal protective coating comprise inorganic long fibers, clay clinker, alumina powder, coarse-grained refractory powder and inorganic binder; however, the coating has the disadvantages of long fiber length, large filler particle size, large coating thickness, rough coating surface and poor wear resistance, is not beneficial to use under the condition of long-term mechanical vibration, and is not suitable for the protection of the honeycomb ceramic carrier.

Disclosure of Invention

In view of the above, the present invention provides a honeycomb ceramic carrier surface-enhanced coating, and a preparation method and an application thereof, and the honeycomb ceramic carrier surface-enhanced coating provided by the present invention has characteristics of low organic matter content, thin coating layer, good mechanical property improvement capability, and heat preservation.

The invention provides a honeycomb ceramic carrier surface reinforcing coating which is prepared from the following raw materials:

35-45 parts of inorganic binder;

50-60 parts by weight of inorganic fiber;

0.3 to 0.7 weight part of inorganic filler;

0.1 to 0.3 weight part of thickening agent;

the solid content of the inorganic bonding agent is 30-40 wt%.

Preferably, the inorganic binder is selected from one or more of silica sol, aluminum dihydrogen phosphate, aluminum sol and sodium silicate.

Preferably, the inorganic fibers are selected from one or more of aluminum silicate fibers, magnesium silicate fibers, alumina fibers, glass fibers, zirconium-containing fibers, and calcium silicate fibers.

Preferably, the inorganic filler is selected from one or more of glass powder, titanium dioxide and silica powder.

Preferably, the thickener is selected from one or more of carboxymethyl cellulose, hydroxyethyl cellulose and hydroxymethyl propyl cellulose.

The invention also provides a preparation method of the honeycomb ceramic carrier surface enhanced coating, which comprises the following steps:

mixing an inorganic bonding agent, inorganic fibers, an inorganic filler and a thickening agent, ball-milling, and sieving to obtain the honeycomb ceramic carrier surface reinforcing coating.

Preferably, the ball milling time is 10min to 20 min.

Preferably, the size of the screened mesh is 60-80 meshes.

The invention also provides a method for protecting the honeycomb ceramic carrier, which comprises the following steps:

coating the coating on the surface of a honeycomb ceramic carrier, drying and calcining the coating to form a protective coating on the surface of the honeycomb ceramic carrier;

the coating is the honeycomb ceramic carrier surface reinforcing coating in the technical scheme.

Preferably, the temperature of the calcination is 1000 ℃ to 1200 ℃.

The invention provides a honeycomb ceramic carrier surface reinforcing coating which is prepared from the following raw materials:

35-45 parts of inorganic binder;

50-60 parts by weight of inorganic fiber;

0.3 to 0.7 weight part of inorganic filler;

0.1 to 0.3 weight part of thickening agent;

the solid content of the inorganic bonding agent is 30-40 wt%.

In the invention, the honeycomb ceramic carrier surface reinforcing coating comprises an inorganic binder, inorganic fibers, an inorganic filler and a thickening agent, and preferably consists of the inorganic binder, the inorganic fibers, the inorganic filler and the thickening agent.

In the present invention, the inorganic binder is preferably selected from one or more of silica sol, aluminum dihydrogen phosphate, aluminum sol, and sodium silicate, more preferably silica sol, aluminum dihydrogen phosphate, aluminum sol, or sodium silicate, and still more preferably silica sol. The source of the inorganic binder is not particularly limited in the present invention, and commercially available or self-made products of the above silica sol, aluminum dihydrogen phosphate, aluminum sol and sodium silicate, which are well known to those skilled in the art, may be used. In the present invention, the solid content of the inorganic binder is 30 wt% to 40 wt%, preferably 30 wt%.

In the present invention, the surface-reinforcing coating for honeycomb ceramic carrier comprises 35 to 45 parts by weight of inorganic binder, preferably 38 to 43 parts by weight, and more preferably 42 parts by weight.

In the present invention, the inorganic fiber is preferably selected from one or more of aluminum silicate fiber, magnesium silicate fiber, alumina fiber, glass fiber, zirconium-containing fiber, and calcium silicate fiber, more preferably aluminum silicate fiber, magnesium silicate fiber, glass fiber, zirconium-containing fiber, or calcium silicate fiber, and more preferably aluminum silicate fiber. The source of the inorganic fiber in the present invention is not particularly limited, and commercially available products of the above-mentioned aluminum silicate fiber, magnesium silicate fiber, alumina fiber, glass fiber, zirconium-containing fiber and calcium silicate fiber, which are well known to those skilled in the art, may be used. In the present invention, the fiber length of the inorganic fiber as a raw material is preferably 20mm to 30 mm.

In the present invention, the surface-reinforcing coating material for a honeycomb ceramic carrier comprises 50 to 60 parts by weight of inorganic fiber, preferably 54 to 58 parts by weight, and more preferably 57 parts by weight.

In the present invention, the inorganic filler is preferably selected from one or more of glass powder, titanium dioxide powder and silica powder, more preferably glass powder, titanium dioxide powder or silica powder, and more preferably titanium dioxide powder. The source of the inorganic filler is not particularly limited in the invention, and commercially available products of the glass powder, titanium dioxide powder and silica powder, which are well known to those skilled in the art, can be adopted. In the present invention, the particle size of the inorganic filler is preferably 600 to 1000 mesh, and more preferably 800 mesh.

In the present invention, the surface-reinforcing coating for honeycomb ceramic carrier comprises 0.3 to 0.7 parts by weight of inorganic filler, preferably 0.4 to 0.7 parts by weight, and more preferably 0.7 parts by weight.

In the present invention, the thickener is preferably selected from one or more of carboxymethyl cellulose, hydroxyethyl cellulose and hydroxymethyl propyl cellulose, more preferably carboxymethyl cellulose, hydroxyethyl cellulose or hydroxymethyl propyl cellulose, and more preferably carboxymethyl cellulose. The source of the thickener in the present invention is not particularly limited, and commercially available products of the above-mentioned carboxymethyl cellulose, hydroxyethyl cellulose and hydroxymethyl propyl cellulose, which are well known to those skilled in the art, can be used.

In the present invention, the honeycomb ceramic carrier surface reinforcing coating comprises 0.1 to 0.3 parts by weight of a thickener, preferably 0.2 to 0.3 parts by weight, and more preferably 0.3 parts by weight.

The honeycomb ceramic carrier surface reinforcing coating provided by the invention adopts specific content components, realizes better interaction, can form a smooth crack-free protective coating on the surface of the honeycomb ceramic carrier, has thin coating and good capability of improving mechanical properties, and can protect the honeycomb ceramic carrier, thereby avoiding the damage of the honeycomb ceramic under the action of mechanical vibration due to the brittleness of the honeycomb ceramic; meanwhile, the honeycomb ceramic carrier has a heat preservation characteristic, and heat in the honeycomb ceramic carrier is not easy to dissipate after ignition, so that the tail gas treatment efficiency is improved; in addition, the honeycomb ceramic carrier surface enhanced coating provided by the invention has low organic matter content and high temperature resistance, and does not generate secondary smoke pollution under the high-temperature condition.

The invention also provides a preparation method of the honeycomb ceramic carrier surface enhanced coating, which comprises the following steps:

mixing an inorganic bonding agent, inorganic fibers, an inorganic filler and a thickening agent, ball-milling, and sieving to obtain the honeycomb ceramic carrier surface reinforcing coating.

In the present invention, the inorganic binder, the inorganic fiber, the inorganic filler and the thickener are the same as those in the above technical solution, and are not described herein again.

The mixing device is not particularly limited, and a ball mill known to those skilled in the art can be adopted, so that the subsequent ball milling process is facilitated. In the present invention, the time for the ball milling is preferably 10min to 20min, and more preferably 15 min. Through the ball milling process, the raw materials are uniformly mixed, the fiber length of the inorganic fiber can be shortened (the fiber length after ball milling is detected to be 0.18-0.25 mm), the dispersibility of the inorganic fiber is improved, the coating obtained subsequently is favorably thinly coated on the surface of the honeycomb ceramic carrier, and a protective coating with a smooth and flat surface and no cracks is further formed.

In the present invention, the size of the mesh of the screen is preferably 60 to 80 mesh, and more preferably 60 mesh.

The preparation method provided by the invention has the advantages of simple and feasible process, mild conditions and low cost, is suitable for industrial production and has wide application prospect.

The invention also provides a method for protecting the honeycomb ceramic carrier, which comprises the following steps:

coating the coating on the surface of a honeycomb ceramic carrier, drying and calcining the coating to form a protective coating on the surface of the honeycomb ceramic carrier;

the coating is the honeycomb ceramic carrier surface reinforcing coating in the technical scheme.

In the present invention, the temperature of the calcination is preferably 1000 to 1200 deg.C, more preferably 1100 deg.C.

The invention provides the reinforced coating coated on the surface of the honeycomb ceramic carrier, and the formed protective coating plays a role in buffering and protecting the honeycomb ceramic carrier when an automobile runs on a bumpy road surface, so that the honeycomb ceramic carrier is prevented from being damaged due to mechanical vibration.
