when a first instruction of a user is received, displaying at least one release pattern on a display interface; the at least one release style corresponds to icons of at least one folder displayed on the display interface one by one; each release style is used for releasing the icons in the corresponding folder;

receiving a first click operation of a user on a first release pattern in the at least one release pattern; the first release pattern corresponds to an icon of a first folder displayed on the display interface;

and according to the first click operation, displaying icons included in the first folder on the display interface, and deleting the icons of the first folder in the display interface.

In summary, in the icon display method for the terminal device provided in this embodiment, the terminal device can display the release style corresponding to the folder on the display interface according to the first instruction of the user, and after receiving the click operation of the user on the first release style, release the icon in the first folder corresponding to the first release style to the display interface, and delete the icon in the first folder, thereby finally realizing the release of the folder. The terminal equipment can release the application program icon rapidly and pertinently when releasing the folder application program icon according to the requirement of the user, so that the time consumed when the user releases the application program icon in the folder is reduced, and the user experience is improved.

In an embodiment of the first aspect of the present application, each release pattern is displayed at a preset position above an icon of a corresponding folder; or, the at least one release pattern is displayed in a first preset area of the display interface.

Specifically, in the icon display method of the terminal device provided in this embodiment, the terminal device may specifically display the corresponding release pattern at a preset position above each icon of the folder that can be released, or may collectively display all the icons in one area of the display interface. Thus, the release pattern can be displayed in a more flexible manner.

In an embodiment of the first aspect of the present application, displaying, on the display interface, an icon included in the first folder and deleting the icon of the first folder in the display interface according to the first click operation includes:

when receiving a second click operation of a user on a first selection item in the first selection frame, displaying icons included in the first folder on the display interface, and deleting the icons of the first folder in the display interface.

Specifically, in the icon display method for the terminal device provided in this embodiment, after the terminal device detects a first click operation of a user on a first release pattern, in order to prevent the user from clicking the release pattern due to false triggering, the terminal device directly releases an icon in a corresponding folder, when the terminal device does not immediately release the first folder according to the first click operation, a first selection frame is displayed on a display interface, and after a second click operation of the user is detected, the first folder is determined to be released, so that accuracy in releasing the folder is ensured.

In an embodiment of the first aspect of the present application, the displaying a first selection frame on the display interface includes: and if the number of the click operations of the user on the release pattern on the display interface which are continuously received before the first click operation of the user on the first release pattern on the display interface is received meets a preset condition, displaying a first selection frame on the display interface.

And, the method further comprises: if the number of the click operations of the user on the release pattern on the display interface which are continuously received does not meet the preset condition before the first click operation of the user on the first release pattern on the display interface is received, displaying a second selection frame on the display interface; wherein the second selection box is used to determine whether the first selection box is no longer displayed;

after receiving a third click operation of the user on the second option in the second selection frame, if a fourth click operation of the user on the second release style on the display interface is received, displaying icons included in the second folder corresponding to the second release style on the display interface according to the fourth click operation, and deleting the icons of the second folder in the interface.

In summary, in the icon display method for the terminal device provided in this embodiment, through a more efficient display manner, the terminal device has continuously received N times of user click operations on different release styles on the display interface, and if N meets a preset condition, the terminal device does not directly display the first selection frame and prompts the user whether to no longer display the first selection frame. If the user determines that the first selection frame is not required to be displayed any more, then, if the terminal device receives the click operation of the user on the second release style corresponding to the second folder, the first selection frame is not displayed, but the icons in the second folder are released until the terminal device exits the editing mode or the user of the terminal device finishes the continuous release of the folders. Therefore, the operation required when the user continuously releases the folders is reduced, the display efficiency of the icons is further improved, and the user experience is improved.

Detailed Description

Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of an application scenario of the present application, and as shown in the application scenario of fig. 1, several different display modes of an icon on a display interface of an electronic device having a display screen are shown. In fig. 1, an electronic device is taken as an example for an exemplary description, but not limited to, and in each embodiment of the present application, the electronic device may also be: the mobile phone, the tablet computer, the notebook computer, the desktop computer or other intelligent devices with display interfaces, such as a smart television, a smart watch, etc.

In the display interface 1A of the terminal device shown in fig. 1, a plurality of icons are displayed, each icon corresponding to one application, for example, at least icons corresponding to applications including names x, y, and z are displayed in the display interface 1A. As the terminal devices have larger and larger capacities and higher performances, the number of applications that can be installed in the terminal devices is also increasing, and after the icons of the applications fill the whole display interface 1A, the terminal devices also provide other display interfaces to display the icons of the applications that are newly installed by the user.

In order to improve the management efficiency of the icons displayed on the display interface of the terminal device, as shown in the display interface 1B of the terminal device shown in fig. 1, the terminal device may display the icons of the application programs in one or more folders on the basis of the display interface 1A to obtain a more concise display interface, and may classify the icons according to the needs of the user. For example, the display interface 1B includes folders named A, B, C and D, wherein the applications x, y, and z in the display interface 1A can be set in the same folder D in the display interface 1B.

When the terminal device detects the click operation of the user on the icon of the folder D on the display interface 1B and determines that the user needs to view the icon in the folder D, the terminal device displays the icons of the application programs x, y, and z included in the folder D in the preset area popped up in the display interface 1C according to the click operation of the user.

However, when the user needs to release the folder displayed on the display interface 1B, so as to release the icons in the folder to the display interface for display for subsequent rearrangement, the steps that the user needs to operate the terminal device may refer to the embodiments shown in fig. 2 and 3. Fig. 2 is a schematic diagram of a first process for releasing a folder in the prior art, and fig. 3 is a schematic diagram of a second process for releasing a folder in the prior art.

Specifically, when the user needs to dismiss the folder in the display interface 2A in fig. 2, the terminal device is first instructed to enter the editing mode by sending an editing instruction. In a specific implementation manner, the user may send an editing instruction to the terminal device by pressing a blank of the display interface 2A for a long time. The terminal device enters an editing mode in the display interface 2B according to an editing instruction sent by the user, and the terminal device can adjust the arrangement order and setting of the icons in the display interface in the editing mode. Wallpaper, selection of desktop gadgets, and the like. For example, in the example shown in fig. 2, after detecting a click operation of the user on an icon of folder D in display interface 2B, the terminal device displays icons of applications x, y, and z included in folder D in a preset area on display interface 2C.

When the terminal device detects that the user is on the display interface 2C, the application program y in the folder D is moved out of the preset area and moved to a blank of the display interface 2C, and it is determined that the user needs to display the icon of the application program y on the display interface. The terminal device displays the icon of the application y directly on the display interface 2D as shown in the display interface 2D in fig. 3, and deletes the icon of the application y in the folder D at the same time. Subsequently, if it is continuously detected that the user continues to move the applications z and x in the folder D out of the preset area respectively and the folder D does not include icons of other applications at this time, the terminal device finally deletes the icon of the folder D in the display interface 2E and directly displays the icons of the applications x, y, and z operated by the user in the display interface 2E.

Finally, after the user sends an instruction to exit the editing mode to the terminal device, for example, double-clicking a blank in the display interface 2E, the terminal device exits the editing mode according to the instruction of the user, the terminal device resolves the folder D in the display interface 2F, and directly displays icons of all application programs in the folder D on the display interface.

In summary, in the process of dismissing folders as shown in fig. 2 to 3, after continuously obtaining the operation of moving each application icon out of the preset area by the user in the editing mode, the corresponding application icon is directly displayed in the display interface, and finally, after all the application icons in the folders are moved out of the folders, the icons of the folders in the display interface are deleted, so that the dismissal of the folders in the display interface is realized. However, when the terminal device releases the folder application icons according to the requirements of the user, the user is required to respectively operate each icon in the folder in the editing mode to release the folder, so that the operation of the user is complicated, and when the number of the application icons in the folder is large, a large amount of time is consumed, thereby reducing the user experience.

Based on this, the application provides an icon display method and operation of the terminal device, so that the terminal device can release the application icon quickly and pertinently when releasing the folder application icon according to the requirement of the user, the time consumed by the user is reduced, and the user experience is improved.

The embodiments provided in the present application are explained below with reference to the drawings.

Fig. 4 is a schematic flowchart of an embodiment of an icon display method of a terminal device, where as shown in fig. 4, the icon display method of the terminal device includes:

s101: when a first instruction of a user is received, at least one release pattern is displayed on the display interface.

Specifically, the execution subject of the present embodiment may be an electronic device in an application scenario as shown in fig. 1, and the present embodiment is described below by taking the electronic device as a terminal device as an example, but is not limited thereto.

For example, fig. 5 is a schematic view of a display interface according to an embodiment of an icon display method of a terminal device provided by the present application, and in the display interface 3A shown in fig. 5, icons corresponding to four folders with names A, B, C and D respectively are included. When the current interface displayed by the terminal device is the display interface 3A in fig. 5, and the terminal device receives the first instruction sent by the user, at least one release pattern is displayed on the display interface on the basis of the current interface 3A, and at this time, the current interface displayed by the terminal device may be the display interface 3B in fig. 5.

The release patterns described in this embodiment correspond to icons of folders displayed on a current display interface of the terminal device one to one, and each release pattern is used to release an icon in a corresponding folder. In the example shown in fig. 5, when the terminal device receives a first instruction from a user, the displayed interface is the display interface 3A, and the terminal device displays a circular target style on the upper right of the icon of each folder in the display interface 3B, where each target style corresponds to the icon of the folder in which the target style is located.

It should be noted that, in the display interface 3B in fig. 5, the release pattern is displayed in a circular black dot target pattern located on the upper right of the folder icon, which is merely an exemplary illustration. In a specific implementation process, the shape, the position, the size and the like of the release pattern corresponding to each folder are not limited in the application. For example, the release pattern may be displayed at the lower left, upper left, lower right, and center of each folder, and the shape of the release pattern may be a square, a star, an irregular shape, or the like.

Optionally, in this embodiment, the first instruction includes, but is not limited to, one or more of the following: click operation instructions, voice instructions, instructions sent by mouse and keyboard lamp interaction equipment and the like. For example, when the interface currently displayed by the terminal device is the display interface 3A, if a double-click operation instruction of the user on a blank position in the display interface 3A is received, the terminal device may display at least one release pattern in the display interface 3B according to the operation instruction. Or, when the interface currently displayed by the terminal device is the display interface 3A, if a voice instruction "release folder" sent by the user is received through the microphone, the terminal device may display at least one release pattern in the display interface 3B according to the operation instruction.

In addition, the display interface described in S101 may be an interface currently displayed by the terminal device, for example, in the example shown in fig. 5, after receiving the first instruction on the current display interface 3A, the terminal displays, according to the folder icon in the display interface 3A, the release style corresponding to the folder icon in the display interface 3A one to one in the display interface 3B. In other possible implementation manners, the display interface described in S101 may also be another display interface of the terminal device, for example, if the display interface 3A of the terminal device is a home page, even if the terminal device receives the first instruction when the other display interface is currently displayed, the release style corresponding to the folder icon in the display interface 3A one-to-one is also displayed in the display interface 3B according to the folder icon in the display interface 3A serving as the home page. Or, in another possible implementation manner, if the terminal device receives the first instruction as "release the folder of the display interface 3A" when displaying other display interfaces currently, the terminal device may also display, according to the first instruction, the release patterns corresponding to the folder icons in the display interface 3A in one-to-one correspondence in the display interface 3B.

S102: and receiving a first click operation of a user on a first release pattern on the display interface.

S103: and according to the first click operation, displaying the icons included in the first folder on the display interface, and deleting the icons of the first folder in the display interface.

Subsequently, after the terminal device displays the release pattern corresponding to the icon of each folder through the display interface 3B, if a click operation of the user on the first release pattern on the display interface 3B is received, it is determined that the user instructs to release all the icons in the first folder corresponding to the first release pattern. For example, in the example shown in fig. 5, after the terminal device receives a click operation of the user on the release style corresponding to the folder D on the display interface 3B thereof, the terminal device displays icons of all the applications x, y, and z in the folder D in the display interface 3C shown in fig. 5, and deletes the icon of the folder D. At this time, the process of releasing the folder is realized according to the click operation of the user on the release style corresponding to the icon of the folder.

Optionally, in embodiments of the present application, when the terminal device releases the folder, an operating system based on the terminal device includes but is not limited to: an iOS operating system, and an Android (Android) operating system, among others.

In summary, in the icon display method of the terminal device provided in this embodiment, the terminal device can display the release style corresponding to the folder on the display interface according to the first instruction of the user, and after receiving the click operation of the user on the first release style, release the icon in the first folder corresponding to the first release style to the display interface, and delete the icon in the first folder, thereby finally realizing the release of the folder. That is, the present application provides a user experience (UX) solution for quickly releasing icons in a folder. Compared with the processes of fig. 2 to fig. 3 in the prior art, it can be seen that the display method of the terminal device provided by the present application allows a user to release all icons in one folder after one click operation, without moving each icon in the folder as in the prior art. Therefore, the terminal equipment can quickly release the application program icons in the folder according to the requirements of the user, the operation required by the user is reduced, the release of the application program icons in the folder is realized more quickly and pertinently, the operation time required by the user when the user releases the folder is reduced, and the user experience is improved.

Optionally, on the basis of the display shown in fig. 5, the release pattern provided by the present application can also be displayed in the editing mode in the prior art. For example, fig. 6 is a schematic diagram of a display interface of an embodiment of an icon display method of a terminal device provided by the present application, in the embodiment shown in fig. 6, reference may be made to the display interface 2A in the embodiment shown in fig. 2, when the terminal device receives an edit instruction sent by a user to enter an edit mode, in the display interface 4A shown in fig. 6, the terminal device enters the edit mode according to the edit instruction, and displays a corresponding release style at a preset position above each folder in the edit mode. And then when the terminal equipment receives the click operation of the user on the release style corresponding to the folder D in the editing mode, displaying icons of the application programs x, y and z corresponding to the folder D in the display interface 4B, and deleting the icon of the folder D. Finally, after receiving an instruction sent by the user to exit the editing mode, the terminal device deletes all release styles displayed on the display interface 4B, and directly displays icons of the application programs x, y, and z on the display interface 4C, thereby finally realizing the release of the folder D.

Optionally, fig. 7 is a schematic display interface diagram of an embodiment of an icon display method of a terminal device provided by the present application. In the example shown in fig. 7, the present application also provides another way to display a release style corresponding to a folder on a display interface. The release styles corresponding to all folders in the display interface can be displayed in a first preset area of the display interface.

For example, when the terminal device receives a first instruction, the terminal device enters a release mode according to the first instruction, and in the release mode, in a preset area below the display interface 5A as shown in fig. 7, release patterns corresponding to the folders A, B, C and D one by one are displayed. The first instruction may be a click operation instruction of a user on a key on the terminal device, or a voice operation instruction of "enter release mode" sent by the user. Subsequently, after the terminal device receives a click operation of the user on the file displayed in the preset area below the display interface 5A and the style corresponding to the folder D, icons of the application programs x, y, and z in the folder D are displayed in the display interface 5B, and the icon of the folder D is deleted. Finally, after receiving an instruction of the user to exit the release mode, the terminal device releases the icon in the folder D in the display interface 5C.

Further, fig. 8 is a schematic display interface diagram of an embodiment of an icon display method of a terminal device provided in the present application. On the basis of the embodiments shown in fig. 5 to 7, in order to prevent the user from clicking the release style due to false triggering, the terminal device directly releases the icon in the corresponding folder. As shown in fig. 8, the display interface 6A is that after receiving a first click operation of a user on a first release pattern on the display interface, the terminal device does not immediately release a folder corresponding to the first release pattern, but first displays a first selection frame on the display interface 6A, where the selection frame is used for determining whether to release the clicked first folder for the user. And the selection frame includes at least one selection item, and the "yes" in the first selection frame in the display interface 6A is recorded as the first selection item. And after receiving a second click operation of the first option by the user, the terminal device continues to display the icon included in the first folder on the display interface according to the second click operation, and deletes the icon of the first folder in the display interface.

In order to prevent the user from continuously releasing the folders and continuously clicking the release style on the display interface, the user needs to click the first option again in the display interface 6A, for example, in the display interface 6B shown in fig. 8, another way of improving the display efficiency is shown. Before the terminal device receives the first click operation on the first release pattern, if the N folders have been released continuously by clicking the release pattern, that is, the terminal device has received N times of click operations on different release patterns on the display interface continuously, and if N meets a preset condition (for example, the preset condition may be that N is greater than or equal to 5), the terminal device does not directly display the first selection frame as in the display interface 6A, but displays the second selection frame as in the display interface 6B, so as to determine whether to subsequently display the first selection frame as in the display interface 6A no longer through the second selection frame. If the user clicks the second selection item "yes" in the second selection frame, the terminal device directly releases the folder corresponding to the first release style according to a third click operation on the second selection item by the user, and the first selection frame shown in the display interface 6A is no longer displayed. After that, if the terminal device receives the click operation of the user on the second release style corresponding to the second folder, the first selection frame shown in the display interface 6A is not displayed, but the icons in the second folder are released until the terminal device exits the editing mode or the user of the terminal device finishes this continuous release of the folders.

Optionally, in each of the above embodiments, when the terminal device releases the plurality of icons in the folder D, the terminal device may display the plurality of icons on the display interface according to the arrangement manner of the attribute information of the application program corresponding to the plurality of icons. For example, if the icons in the terminal device are arranged in a map navigation type, a shopping type and a weather type. If the application program x in the folder D is a weather type, the application program y is a shopping type, and the application program z is a map navigation type, the terminal device displays icons of the application programs z, y, and x in the order of z, y, and x. Or, the attribute information may also be the size of the storage space occupied by the application program, and the arrangement mode may be that the storage spaces occupied by the application programs are arranged in the descending order.

Fig. 9 is a flowchart illustrating an embodiment of an icon display method of a terminal device provided in the present application, and the embodiment shown in fig. 9 may also be applied to the electronic device shown in fig. 1, and the embodiment also uses the electronic device as the terminal device for exemplary description. The embodiment shown in fig. 9 and the embodiment shown in fig. 4 may be executed by different terminal devices, or the same terminal device may execute the embodiment shown in fig. 4, and may also execute the embodiment shown in fig. 9. Specifically, the icon display method for the terminal device provided by this embodiment includes:

s201: when a user selection operation of a plurality of icons on a display interface is received, attribute information of a plurality of application programs corresponding to the selected icons one by one is determined.

S202: and displaying the third folder and the name of the third folder on the display interface according to the attribute information of the plurality of application programs determined in the S201. Wherein the name of the third folder is related to the attribute information.

For example, fig. 10 is a schematic display interface diagram of an embodiment of an icon display method for a terminal device according to the present application, where the terminal device displays icons corresponding to folders A, B and C and icons corresponding to applications x, y, and z outside the folders in the display interface 7A shown in fig. 10. And when the terminal equipment receives the selection of the user on the x icon and the y icon on the display interface in the editing mode, determining the application program x and the application program y selected by the user.

Specifically, for the application program x and the application program y determined in S201, in S202, the terminal device determines the attribute information of the application program x and the application program y, and then displays the third folder on the display interface. The attribute information in the embodiments of the present application includes, but is not limited to: the application program belongs to a category, keywords in the application program name, label information of the application program and the like.

For example, when the attribute information is the application described classification, if application x belongs to the map navigation class, and application y also belongs to the map navigation class. The name of the generated folder D may be "map navigation" in the display interface 7C as shown in fig. 10. The classification to which the application program belongs in this embodiment may be a classification performed on the application program in an application store, and includes: map navigation, game, shopping, life, etc., and the specific classification method of the application is not limited in this application. For another example, when the attribute information is a keyword included in the application program, if the keyword "buy" related to shopping is included in both the application program x and the application program y, the name of the generated folder D may be "shopping category" in the display interface 7C shown in fig. 10.

Alternatively, as for the folder D displayed in the display interface 7C in fig. 10, in S202, since the determination of the user has not been received yet, at this time, the icon corresponding to the folder D is not directly displayed, only a partial outline of the icon of the folder D may be displayed, or another icon may be displayed instead of the icon of the folder D, so as to play a role in prompting the user to create the icon of the folder D.

S203: when a third instruction of the user is received, the plurality of icons determined in S201 are displayed in a third folder of the display interface, and the plurality of icons displayed on the display interface are deleted.

Finally, in S203, after the terminal device receives the third instruction of the user, it is determined to create a third folder, and a plurality of icons are displayed in the third folder in the display interface.

For example, fig. 11 is a schematic view of a display interface of an embodiment of an icon display method of a terminal device provided by the present application, and a specific implementation manner of a third instruction received by the terminal device is shown in a display interface 7D shown in fig. 11, where the third instruction is an operation of dragging, by a user, icons of an application program x and an application program y selected on the display interface 7D to a preset area where a folder D is located. After the terminal device detects the third instruction sent by the user as shown in the display interface 7D, the icons of the application program x and the application program y selected by the user are displayed in the folder D in the display interface 7E, and the icons of the application program x and the application program y displayed in the original display interface 7D are deleted. Finally, after the terminal device receives an instruction sent by the user to exit the editing mode, the terminal device exits the editing mode, and the fact that the plurality of application programs selected by the user are combined into the same folder is achieved on the display interface 7F, and the names of the folders are related to the plurality of application programs.

Optionally, in the display interface 7D as shown in fig. 11, after the terminal device receives the third instruction of the user, the terminal device may further display an editing interface for the third folder, that is, the folder D, so that the user can directly perform an editing operation, such as renaming, on the folder D.

In summary, in the icon display method of the terminal device provided in this embodiment, after receiving a selection operation of a user on multiple icons, attribute information of multiple applications in one-to-one correspondence with the multiple icons selected by the user can be determined, and then a third folder related to the attribute information of the multiple applications is generated in a display interface. And finally, according to the received third instruction of the user, displaying a plurality of icons in a third folder in the display interface, and deleting the plurality of icons in the display interface, so that the plurality of application program icons are combined into the folder. In the folder merging method provided by this embodiment, after the user selects the icons of the plurality of application programs, automatically according to the attribute information of the plurality of application programs, the folder corresponding to the attribute information of the plurality of application programs is actively generated on the display interface, and the user is prompted to perform a merging instruction. Therefore, the user does not need to merge the plurality of application programs in a one-to-one dragging mode, the efficiency of merging the icons of different application programs into the folder is improved, the operation of the user is reduced, and the user experience is also improved.

Alternatively, the example shown in FIG. 11 illustrates one way to prompt the user to merge a selected application into a folder, while in the embodiment shown in FIG. 12, another way to prompt the user to merge a selected plurality of applications into a folder is illustrated by popping up a displayed selection box on a display interface. Fig. 12 is a schematic view of a display interface of an embodiment of an icon display method of a terminal device provided in the present application, where the display interface 8A may be a third selection frame displayed in the display interface 8A after the terminal device determines, through the display interface 7B, that a user has selected an application program x and an application program y, and the third selection frame is used for determining, to the user, whether to merge a plurality of selected application programs into a folder.

Then, after the terminal device receives a fourth click operation of a third selection item, that is, yes, in a third selection frame on the display interface 8A by the user, it determines to merge the application program x and the application program y selected by the user into the folder, and then the terminal device displays the folder D on the display interface 8B according to the attribute information of the selected application program, and the name of the displayed third folder D is related to the application program x and the application program y. For example, when the attribute information is the application described classification, if application x belongs to the map navigation class, and application y also belongs to the map navigation class. The name of the generated folder D may be "map navigation" in the display interface 8B as shown in fig. 12. Finally, after the terminal device receives the instruction sent by the user to exit the editing mode, the terminal device exits the editing mode, and it is realized on the display interface 8C that the plurality of applications selected by the user are merged into the same folder, and the names of the folders are related to the plurality of applications.

Further, on the basis of the embodiments shown in fig. 11 and 12, the present application also provides another icon display method for a terminal device, for example, fig. 13 is a schematic view of a display interface of an embodiment of the icon display method for a terminal device provided by the present application, and before the terminal device exits the editing mode after the display interface 7E shown in fig. 10 or the display interface 8B shown in fig. 12, it may also be determined whether an application program including the same attribute information is included in the display interface besides the folder D after the application program x and the application program y having the same attribute information are merged into the folder D. And after determining the application z including the same attribute information in addition to the folder D, displaying a fourth selection frame through the display interface 9A, the fourth selection frame being used for determining to the user whether to incorporate the application z determined by the terminal device into the folder D. After the terminal device receives the fifth click operation of the user on the fourth selection item, i.e., "yes", in the fourth selection frame on the display interface 9A, the application z is also merged into the folder D in the display interface 9B. Finally, after the terminal device receives an instruction sent by the user to exit the editing mode, the terminal device exits the editing mode, and the application program z which is not selected by the user in the display interface but is combined with the application program z in the folder D is displayed in the folder D on the display interface 9C.

Optionally, on the basis of the foregoing embodiments, the present application further provides an icon display method for a terminal device, where fig. 14 is a schematic view of a display interface of an embodiment of the icon display method for a terminal device provided by the present application.

As shown in fig. 14, when the terminal device receives the fourth instruction, at least one sort pattern is displayed on the display interface 10A. The fourth instruction may be an instruction for sending the terminal device to start the classification mode by clicking a specific area on a display interface of the terminal device or clicking a specific key of the terminal device, or the fourth instruction may also be an instruction for sending the terminal device the classification mode is started by a user through voice data. Each sort style corresponds to one folder on the display interface 10A, and each sort style is used to sort icons in the folders. In the display interface 10A, the arrangement pattern is a pentagon as an exemplary illustration, and each pentagon is located at the upper right corner of the corresponding folder. It should be noted that the shape, size, and position of the arrangement pattern are not limited in the present application.

Subsequently, after the terminal device receives a sixth click operation of the user on the first sort style on the display interface 10A, at least one different type icon in the fourth folder corresponding to the first sort style is determined. For example, in the display interface 10A shown in fig. 14, the name of the fourth folder, namely, the folder D, is "map navigation", and since the name of the folder is related to the attribute information of the application program, the attribute information of the application program corresponding to the folder D at this time is "map navigation class". The attribute information of the application program x corresponding to the icon included in the folder D is "map navigation class", the attribute information of the application program z is "map navigation class", and the attribute information of the application program y is "shopping class". The different type of icon that the terminal device can determine is the icon of the application y, and the icon of the application y is removed from the folder D in the display interface 10B, displayed directly on the display interface, and the icon of the application y in the folder D is deleted. Finally, after the terminal device receives an instruction sent by the user to exit the classification mode, the terminal device exits the classification mode, so that the folder D is classified on the display interface 10C, and the application programs y of different types in the folder D are removed.

In the embodiments provided in the present application, the method provided in the embodiments of the present application is introduced from the perspective of the terminal device. In order to implement the functions in the method provided by the embodiment of the present application, the terminal device may include a hardware structure and/or a software module, and implement the functions in the form of a hardware structure, a software module, or a hardware structure and a software module. Whether any of the above-described functions is implemented as a hardware structure, a software module, or a hardware structure plus a software module depends upon the particular application and design constraints imposed on the technical solution.
