step one, putting polymethyl methacrylate, polystyrene resin and a compatilizer into a high-speed mixer according to the weight ratio, and mixing for 4-6min to obtain a uniform mixture of the components;

adding the component mixture into a double-screw extruder from a hopper, adding fumed silica, basalt fibers, a cross-linking agent and a cross-linking agent auxiliary agent into the double-screw extruder from a side feeding port, and performing extrusion granulation to obtain a composite material;

Technical Field

Background

The microcellular foamed material refers to a polymer material as a matrix, which contains a porous polymer material having a cell size of less than one micron to several tens of microns. Foams produced by conventional physical or chemical foaming processes are generally outside this category because of their relatively large pore size, and microcellular foams are known as microcellular foams because they have much smaller cells and much higher cell densities than conventional millimeter-sized cells.

The unique gas-solid two-phase structure of the micro-foaming material endows the micro-foaming material with better performances of toughness, heat insulation, sound insulation and the like, so the micro-foaming material can be widely applied to the fields of food packaging, automobile industry, aerospace, heat insulation, sound insulation and the like.

In the prior art, the hardness of the micro-foaming material is not enough, and the micro-foaming material cannot meet all application places.

and step four, adding the mixture into an injection molding machine, and performing injection molding to obtain the high-hardness micro-foaming material, wherein the charging barrel temperature of the injection molding machine is 180-.

Compared with the prior art, the high-hardness micro-foaming material and the preparation method thereof have the beneficial effects that:

the high-hardness micro-foaming material comprises polymethyl methacrylate, polystyrene resin, a compatilizer, a foaming agent, fumed silica, basalt fiber, a cross-linking agent and a cross-linking agent auxiliary agent, wherein the fumed silica plays a role in improving weather resistance and scratch resistance in a formula system of the foaming material, the bonding strength between the micro-foaming material and a base material can be improved, and the hardness of the micro-foaming material can be greatly improved by adding the basalt fiber.

A high-hardness micro-foamed material of the present example comprised 35kg of polymethyl methacrylate, 59kg of polystyrene resin, 2kg of a compatibilizer, 5kg of a foaming agent, 1kg of fumed silica, 10kg of basalt fiber, 0.7kg of a crosslinking agent, and 1kg of a crosslinking agent aid.

and step four, adding the mixture into an injection molding machine, and performing injection molding to obtain the high-hardness micro-foaming material, wherein the charging barrel temperature of the injection molding machine is 280 ℃, the injection pressure is 80MPa, the injection speed is 80mm/s, and the cooling time is 30 s.

Test examples

The performance tests of the commercially available microcellular foams (comparative examples) of examples 1 to 3 and the prepared high hardness microcellular foams were carried out, and the purchased microcellular foams were purchased from Kai Huari engineering materials Co., Ltd, Shandong, and the specific results are shown in Table 1:
