Because a stable micro-ecosystem is not established in the intestinal tract of the young livestock and poultry, the young livestock and poultry has low self-resistance, is sensitive to external stimulation and is easily affected by the invasion of various pathogenic microorganisms and various stress factors.

For example, infectious diarrhea is common in nursing piglets, while diarrhea caused by non-infectious factors such as daily ration antigen allergy, weaning, sudden feed change, cold, environmental stress, and the like, is mainly seen in nursing piglets. The two factors are closely related, and both affect each other and cause each other, and are often multiple infections or cross-mixed infections.

Mainly caused by digestive insufficiency, daily ration antigen allergy, lack of nutritional factors, stress factors and the like of livestock and poultry.

For example, the pharmaceutical composition for treating diarrhea of livestock and poultry animals, provided by the application, is particularly suitable for piglets of 12-20 days old.

The features and properties of the present application are described in further detail below with reference to examples.

Example 1

Embodiment 1 provides a traditional Chinese medicine extract for treating livestock and poultry diarrhea, which comprises the following raw materials: 300g of patchouli, 300g of tuckahoe, 300g of costus root, 300g of perilla leaf and 200g of coptis root.

The preparation method comprises the following steps: pulverizing all the medicinal materials into coarse powder, extracting with appropriate amount of water for 3 times, each for 2 hr, mixing extractive solutions to 1400ml, and adding 0.01% antiseptic.

Experimental example 1

1) Experimental methods

60 piglets in the diarrhea stage are selected, the ages of the piglets are 12-20 days old, and the piglets are randomly and averagely divided into three groups, namely a treatment group in example 1, a colistin sulfate (1mg/ml) + amoxicillin (1mg/ml) treatment group and a blank control group, and are respectively administrated by a filling method according to the dosage in the table 1. And ensure that the animals in each group are fed normally, and three groups are added with liquid supplementing salt in drinking water.

TABLE 1 dosage form for animals

2) Index of experimental determination

Observing the diet, mental condition, weight increment, diarrhea, etc. of the three groups of animals; in addition, the diarrhea rate and diarrhea index of each group were statistically analyzed, and the results are shown in tables 3 and 4.

Diarrhea score criteria are shown in table 2:

TABLE 2 statistical table of diarrhea scores of each group

Scoring Index (I)
0 Excrement drying (Normal)
1 Soft stool to form
2 The feces is sticky (moderate diarrhea)
3 The excrement is sprayed like a water sample (severe diarrhea)

The calculation formula of the diarrhea rate and the diarrhea index is as follows:

diarrhea rate ═ (number of diarrhea heads/number of animals in the group) × 100%;

diarrhea index ═ (sum of stool scores/number of animals in the group) x 100%.

3) Results

TABLE 3 statistical conditions of diarrhea rate in each group

TABLE 4 statistical conditions of diarrhea index for each group

Note: in tables 3-4, the same column of abc indicates significant differences between groups if labeled with different lower case letters (p <0.05) and insignificant differences between groups if labeled with the same lower case letters (p > 0.05).

4) Analysis of

As can be seen from table 3, compared with the diarrhea rate of the treatment group of example 1, the treatment group of colistin sulfate + amoxicillin and the blank control group, the treatment group of example 1 and the treatment group of colistin sulfate + amoxicillin did not significantly differ (P >0.05) and the treatment group of colistin sulfate + amoxicillin and the blank control group did significantly differ (P <0.05) when the drug 1d was administered; when 2d is taken, the difference between groups is obvious (P < 0.05); when 3d was administered, the difference was significant for each group (P < 0.05).

As can be seen from table 4, the diarrhea index condition of the treatment group of example 1, the colistin sulfate + amoxicillin treatment group and the blank control group are significantly different (P <0.05) among the groups when the drug is applied for 1 d; the treatment group of example 1 was not significantly different from the colistin sulfate + amoxicillin treatment group when 2d was administered (P > 0.05); the difference between groups was significant when 3d was administered (P < 0.05).

From the experimental statistics results, in the experimental process of resisting piglet diarrhea, the treatment effect of the invention in the embodiment 1 is better than that of the method of colistin sulfate and amoxicillin.

In conclusion, after the piglet feed is taken in the embodiment 1 of the invention, the intestinal function of the piglet is obviously improved; the vitality and the immunity of the human body are enhanced, and gastrointestinal diseases do not occur; the piglet has good state, bright fur and quick weight increment.

The above description is only a preferred embodiment of the present application and is not intended to limit the present application, and various modifications and changes may be made by those skilled in the art. Any modification, equivalent replacement, improvement and the like made within the spirit and principle of the present application shall be included in the protection scope of the present application.
