The discharge valve according to claim 1, wherein: the elastic piece is a torsion spring which comprises a winding part, an installation rod and a pressing part, wherein the installation rod extends from one side of the winding part, the pressing part extends from the other side of the winding part, and the pressing part is used for abutting against the valve cover; the valve seat is provided with a supporting part, and the supporting part is provided with a mounting hole for fixing the mounting rod.

The discharge valve according to claim 4, wherein: the winding part comprises a first winding part and a second winding part, and the pressing part is connected with the first winding part and the second winding part; the mounting rod comprises a first mounting rod extending from the tail end of the first winding part and a second mounting rod extending from the tail end of the second winding part.

9. The discharge valve according to claim 1, wherein: the exhaust valve further comprises a shock absorbing gasket positioned between the valve seat and the valve cover.

10. The discharge valve according to claim 9, wherein: the damping washer is welded and fixed on the inner side of the valve seat or the outer side of the valve cover.

Technical Field

The present invention relates to an exhaust valve for a motor vehicle.

Background

Exhaust noise is one of the major sources of motor vehicle noise, and reducing exhaust noise is the major approach to reducing vehicle noise. When the engine (gasoline engine or diesel engine) of a motor vehicle is operated, a certain back pressure is generated due to an exhaust pipe, a muffler, an exhaust filter, etc. present in an exhaust system, and the back pressure is generally varied according to the rotation speed of the engine. The backpressure has direct influence on the aspects of noise of a vehicle, power and torque of an engine and the like, on one hand, when the rotating speed of the engine is high, the backpressure is large, the noise generated in an exhaust system is small, namely the acoustic effect is good, but the backpressure consumes certain power, so the power and the torque of the engine are influenced, and further the fuel efficiency is influenced; on the other hand, when the engine speed is low and the back pressure is small, the noise generated in the exhaust system is large, that is, the acoustic effect is poor, but the power and torque of the engine are less affected and the fuel efficiency is high. In a typical vehicle exhaust system, both of the above situations may occur.

A conventional exhaust valve generally includes a valve seat, a valve cover, a torsion spring, and the like. Because the valve gap's quality is less, its inertia is less, and the air current of engine when low rotational speed is unstable simultaneously, causes the valve gap to constantly open and close easily, causes the exhaust noise unsmooth.

Disclosure of Invention

The invention aims to provide an exhaust valve which is provided with a balancing weight and is simple to manufacture.

In order to achieve the purpose, the invention adopts the following technical scheme: an exhaust valve comprises a valve seat, a valve cover capable of rotating relative to the valve seat and an elastic part used for abutting against the valve cover; the valve seat is provided with a first main body part, and the first main body part is provided with an air inlet; the valve cover is provided with a second main body part matched with the air inlet hole; the valve cover is further provided with a counterweight block which is integrally formed and folded with the second main body part, and the counterweight block is positioned at the end part of the valve cover.

As a further improved technical scheme of the invention, the balancing weight is formed by folding a strip-shaped metal sheet.

As a further improved technical solution of the present invention, the weight member includes a first bending portion extending integrally with the second main body portion, a second bending portion extending integrally with the first bending portion, and a third bending portion extending integrally with the second bending portion, the third bending portion abuts against the second main body portion, the second bending portion abuts against the third bending portion, and the first bending portion abuts against the second bending portion.

As a further improved technical solution of the present invention, the elastic member is a torsion spring, the torsion spring includes a winding portion, an installation rod extending from one side of the winding portion, and a pressing portion extending from the other side of the winding portion, the pressing portion is used for abutting against the valve cover; the valve seat is provided with a supporting part, and the supporting part is provided with a mounting hole for fixing the mounting rod.

As a further improved technical solution of the present invention, the winding portion includes a first winding portion and a second winding portion, and the pressing portion connects the first winding portion and the second winding portion; the mounting rod comprises a first mounting rod extending from the tail end of the first winding part and a second mounting rod extending from the tail end of the second winding part.

As a further improved technical solution of the present invention, the valve seat is provided with a first side wall located at one side of the supporting portion and a second side wall located at the other side of the supporting portion, the first side wall is provided with a first through hole, and the second side wall is provided with a second through hole; the valve cover is provided with a first extending part extending from one side of the second main body part and a second extending part extending from the other side of the second main body part, the first extending part is provided with a first opening, and the second extending part is provided with a second opening; the exhaust valve includes a first bushing mounted in the first bore and a second bushing mounted in the second bore; the exhaust valve further includes a shaft passing through the first through hole, the first bushing, the winding portion, the second bushing, and the second through hole, and the valve cover is rotatable about the shaft in comparison with the valve seat.

As a further improved technical solution of the present invention, the exhaust valve further includes a cover plate fixed to a top end of the support portion, a top end of the first sidewall, and a top end of the second sidewall, and the cover plate at least partially covers the winding portion.

As a further improved technical scheme of the invention, the exhaust valve also comprises a shock absorption gasket positioned between the valve seat and the valve cover.

As a further improved technical scheme of the invention, the shock absorption gasket is welded and fixed on the inner side of the valve seat or the outer side of the valve cover.

Compared with the prior art, the weight of the valve cover is increased by arranging the counterweight block which is integrally formed and folded with the second main body part on the valve cover, so that the valve cover is not easily opened by pulse airflow when the engine rotates at a low speed; in addition, the integrally arranged balancing weight is convenient to manufacture, and quality problems of welding penetration, splashing and the like caused by welding are avoided.

Detailed Description

Referring to fig. 1 to 4, the present invention discloses an exhaust valve 100, which includes a valve seat 1, a valve cover 2 capable of rotating relative to the valve seat 1, an elastic member 3 for abutting against the valve cover 2, and a shaft 4 cooperating with the valve seat 1, the valve cover 2 and the elastic member 3.

In one embodiment of the present invention, the valve seat 1 is provided with a first main body portion 11, a support portion 12, a first side wall 13 on one side of the support portion 12, and a second side wall 14 on the other side of the support portion 12. The first body 11 is provided with an intake hole 111. The first sidewall 13 is provided with a first perforation 131, and the second sidewall 14 is provided with a second perforation 141. The supporting portion 12 is provided with a plurality of mounting holes 120, and the mounting rods 32 are mounted in the corresponding mounting holes 120 to adjust the pretightening force of the elastic member 3.

The valve cover 2 is provided with a second main body portion 21 matched with the air inlet hole 111, a first extension portion 22 extending from one side of the second main body portion 21, and a second extension portion 23 extending from the other side of the second main body portion 21. The first extension 22 is provided with a first opening 221, and the second extension 23 is provided with a second opening 231. The valve cover 2 is further provided with a counterweight block 24 which is integrally formed and folded with the second main body part 21, and the counterweight block 24 is positioned at the end part of the valve cover 2. The weight 24 is formed by folding a strip-shaped metal sheet. As shown in fig. 4, specifically, the weight member 24 includes a first bending portion 241 integrally extending with the second body portion 21, a second bending portion 242 integrally extending with the first bending portion 241, and a third bending portion 243 integrally extending with the second bending portion 242, the third bending portion 243 abuts against the second body portion 21, the second bending portion 242 abuts against the third bending portion 243, and the first bending portion 241 abuts against the second bending portion 242. Of course, it can be understood that the folding shape, position, weight, etc. of the weight block 24 can be flexibly adjusted according to actual needs.

In the illustrated embodiment of the present invention, the elastic member 3 is a torsion spring, and includes a winding portion 31, an attachment rod 32 extending from one side of the winding portion 31, and a pressing portion 33 extending from the other side of the winding portion 31. The mounting rod 32 is fixed to the valve seat 1, and the pressing part 33 is used for abutting against the valve cover 2.

The shaft 4 passes through the first through hole 131, the first hole 221, the winding portion 31, the second hole 231, and the second through hole 141. Specifically, the discharge valve 100 further includes a first bushing 51 installed in the first opening 221 and a second bushing 52 installed in the second opening 231, and the shaft 4 passes through the first bushing 51 and the second bushing 52.

In addition, the discharge valve 100 further includes a cover plate 6 fixed to the top end of the support portion 12, the top end of the first sidewall 13, and the top end of the second sidewall 14, and the cover plate 6 at least partially covers the winding portion 31.

The exhaust valve 100 further includes a cushion ring 7 between the valve seat 1 and the valve cover 2 to reduce noise. The shock absorption gasket 7 is welded and fixed on the inner side of the valve seat 1 or the outer side of the valve cover 2.

In the illustrated embodiment of the present invention, the winding portion 31 includes a first winding portion 311 and a second winding portion 312, and the pressing portion 33 connects the first winding portion 311 and the second winding portion 312. The mounting rod 32 includes a first mounting rod 321 extending from the end of the first winding portion 311 and a second mounting rod 322 extending from the end of the second winding portion 312. The first mounting rod 321 and the second mounting rod 322 are parallel to each other.

Compared with the prior art, the weight of the valve cover 2 is increased by arranging the counterweight block 24 which is integrally formed and folded with the second main body part 21 on the valve cover 2, so that the valve cover is not easy to be opened by pulse airflow when the engine rotates at a low speed; in addition, the counterweight block 24 integrally arranged is convenient to manufacture, and quality problems of welding penetration, splashing and the like caused by welding are avoided.
