An electrochemical device includes an electrode assembly;

a pouch including a first case and a second case combined with each other to form a receiving space for receiving the electrode assembly;

a first tab electrically connected to the electrode assembly and protruding from a first end of the pouch;

a second tab electrically connected to the electrode assembly;

the first housing includes a first sealing region at the first end and a first non-sealing region connected to the first sealing region,

the first non-sealing area is provided with a first concave part facing the accommodating space and close to the first sealing area, and the first concave part is positioned on one side of the first lug plate.

The electrochemical device according to claim 1, wherein the second case includes a second sealing region and a second non-sealing region, the second sealing region is located at the first end, the second non-sealing region is connected to the second sealing region, the first sealing region and the second sealing region are joined, the second non-sealing region is provided adjacent to the second sealing region with a second recess facing the receiving space, and the second recess is located at one side of the first tab.

The electrochemical device according to claim 2, wherein the first recess and the second recess are oppositely disposed, and the first seal region extends to at least a partial region of the first recess.

The electrochemical device according to claim 1, wherein an insulator is provided at a position of the electrode assembly corresponding to the first recess.

The electrochemical device of claim 4, wherein a width of the insulator is greater than or equal to a width of the first recess.

The electrochemical device according to claim 1, wherein the first recess has a cross-sectional shape of one of a triangle, a rectangle, a square, a trapezoid, and an arc.

The electrochemical device according to claim 1, wherein the second tab protrudes from the first end of the pouch, the first recess is located between the first tab and the second tab, and a width of the first recess is less than or equal to a distance between the first tab and the second tab.

The electrochemical device according to claim 7, wherein the first non-sealing region is provided adjacent to the first sealing region with a third recess facing the receiving space, the first recess and the third recess being located at both sides of the first tab.

The electrochemical device according to claim 1, wherein the second tab protrudes from a second end of the pouch, the first case further comprises a third sealing region at the second end, the third sealing region being connected to the first non-sealing region, the first non-sealing region being provided with a fourth recess portion adjacent to the third sealing region, the fourth recess portion being located at a side of the second tab.

An electronic device comprising the electrochemical device of any one of claims 1-9.
