Background

In a conventional electronic device, such as a mobile communication device, a tablet computer, etc., a glass panel is usually attached to a surface of the electronic device, and when the glass panel is attached to a front end surface of the electronic device, the glass panel is usually used for protecting a touch screen of the electronic device. When a glass panel is manufactured, a pattern is usually formed on the surface of the glass panel; for example, in order to realize part of the functions of the electronic device, an ICON button, a Home button, or a LOGO or other decorative patterns are usually disposed on the surface of the glass panel.

When the traditional glass panel is used for processing decorative patterns, metal or metal oxide materials are generally sputtered on the surface of the glass panel in a vacuum mode to manufacture a pattern layer, then a covering photoresist material is coated on the surface of the pattern layer to cover the pattern layer, and an ICON key, a Home key or LOGO or other decorative patterns are finally formed through processes such as exposure, development, etching and the like; although the yield of the manufactured product is high, expensive exposure equipment and photoresist materials are needed in the process of manufacturing the pattern; directly causes the manufacturing cost of the glass panel to be high.

Chinese patent CN201710057117.7 discloses a glass panel for electronic devices, which comprises a glass substrate, wherein an ink layer made of an ink material is arranged on the surface of one side of the glass substrate, a hollowed-out pattern area is arranged inside the ink layer, the hollowed-out pattern area is completely covered with a pattern layer made of a metal or metal oxide material, the pattern layer is connected with the periphery of the ink layer, the outer surfaces of the pattern layer and the ink layer are also covered with a cover bottom layer made of an ink material, and the surface area of the cover bottom layer is larger than the sum of the surface areas of the pattern layer and the ink layer; the pattern layer is sunken relative to the ink layer to form a groove, and the bottom cover layer covers the groove; the edge of the ink layer connected with the pattern layer is an inclined edge, and the edge of the pattern layer covers the inclined edge of the ink layer.
