Technical Field

Background

In the automotive industry, there is a need to tightly connect a carrier and an attachment element, such as a body component and a door or panel, by a multi-piece fastening device. Such as chinese patent No. CN 200980142850.2. When the fastening device is in the preassembly position, the latching element of the coupling part is latched in the first recess region of the connecting part, and the spreading element of the coupling part is in the insertion region. When the fastening device is in the final assembly position, however, it is necessary to apply pressure to the upper part in the assembly direction, and the connecting element, after overcoming the retaining force of the latching element, is moved relative to the connecting element in the assembly direction until the latching element comes into engagement with the second recess region of the connecting element, while the spreading elements of the connecting element emerge from the insertion region and spread apart by the conical section of the connecting element, so that these spreading elements are pressed firmly against the edge of the opening of the carrier. The fixing device and the carrier are connected by expanding the expanding element to press the expanding element firmly against the edge of the opening of the carrier, but because the sealing element and the joint are directly connected by injection molding, the sealing element can be bent when the expanding element is expanded, so that a gap is formed between the sealing element and the carrier, and the sealing effect and the structural strength are affected.

Disclosure of Invention

In view of the above, the present invention provides a fixing device to solve the above technical problems.

The fixing device comprises a connecting piece and a joint piece matched with the connecting piece. The connector includes a body, two flanges extending radially from a sidewall of one end of the body, an insert portion disposed at the other end of the body, and a recessed portion disposed on the sidewall of the body between the flanges and the insert portion. The embedding part comprises a limiting part arranged on the body and two embedding grooves used for accommodating the joint part. The limiting piece and the groove portion are arranged at intervals, and the embedded groove is formed in an interval area between the limiting piece and the groove portion. The groove part comprises two grooves oppositely arranged on the side wall of the body and a conical section connecting the grooves and the embedded groove. Each of the grooves includes a first groove adjacent the insert portion and a second groove adjacent the flange. The diameter of the conical section is gradually increased from the embedded groove to the groove. The fastener comprises a cover body, two opening and closing elements symmetrically arranged on the cover body and two locking elements symmetrically arranged on the cover body. The cover body is of an arch structure and is symmetrically arranged by a symmetrical plane, and the symmetrical planes of the two opening and closing elements are superposed with the symmetrical plane of the cover body. The cover body is arched towards the flange by taking a symmetrical plane which is overlapped with symmetrical planes of the two opening and closing elements as a reference, the opening direction of the cover body faces the opening and closing elements, and the symmetrical planes of the two locking and locking elements are perpendicular to the symmetrical planes of the two opening and closing elements. When the fixing device is in a final assembly state, the clamping and locking component is engaged in the second groove, the opening and closing element is expanded under the action of the conical section and drives the cover body to bend, so that the cover body which is originally arched is flattened after the opening and closing element is opened.

Compared with the prior art, the fixing device provided by the invention comprises the connecting piece, the joint piece and the end cap. The joint comprises a cover body, an opening arranged at the center of the cover body, a circle of sealing ribs extending out of the cover body, two opening and closing elements symmetrically arranged on the cover body, and two locking and locking elements symmetrically arranged on the cover body. The sealing ribs and the inner edge and the outer edge of the cover body are arranged at intervals, so that the joints between the sealing ribs and the cover body are not easy to deform, and the structural strength is improved. In the opening and closing process of the opening and closing element, the opening and closing element drives the cover body to bend, so that the cover body which is originally arched becomes flat after the opening and closing element is opened, the cover body is attached to the carrier more tightly without gaps, and the sealing performance and the structural strength are improved.

Detailed Description

Specific examples of the present invention will be described in further detail below. It should be understood that the description herein of embodiments of the invention is not intended to limit the scope of the invention.

As shown in fig. 1 to 8, which are schematic structural views of the fixing device provided by the present invention. The fixing device includes a connecting member 10, a coupling member 20 coupled to the connecting member 10, and an end cap 30 provided on the connecting member 10. It is contemplated that the fixture may also include other functional modules, such as carriers and attachment elements, etc., that the fixture connects to, which are well known to those skilled in the art and will not be described in detail herein.

The connector 10 includes a body 11, two flanges 12 radially extending from a sidewall of one end of the body 11, an insertion portion 13 provided at the other end of the body 11, and a groove portion 14 provided on the sidewall of the body 11 between the flanges 12 and the insertion portion 13.

The two flanges 12 are axially spaced apart and the attachment elements to be secured are disposed between the two flanges 12.

The insertion portion 13 includes a semicircular end 131 provided at one end of the body 11, a stopper 132 provided on the body 11, two insertion grooves 133 for receiving the engaging members 20, and two first bars 134 separating the two insertion grooves 133.

The semi-circular end 131 is used to position the end cap 30. The limiting member 132 is located between the semicircular end 131 and the groove portion 14 and is spaced from the semicircular end 131, the region spaced between the limiting member 132 and the semicircular end 131 is used for disposing the end cap 30, and the region spaced between the limiting member 132 and the groove portion 14 forms the embedded groove 133. The insertion groove 133 serves to accommodate the tensioning element 24 of the coupling part 20 described below when the fastening device is in the preassembled state. The two ends of the first strip 134 are respectively connected to the groove portion 14 and the limiting member 132, so as to separate the spacing region between the limiting member 132 and the semicircular end 131, thereby forming two insertion grooves 133, and preventing the opening and closing element of the joint member 20 from rotating after being inserted into the insertion grooves 133, which will be described in detail below in conjunction with the joint member 20.

The groove portion 14 includes two grooves 141 oppositely disposed on the side wall of the body 11, and a conical section 142 connecting the grooves 141 and the fitting groove 133.

Each of the grooves 141 includes a first groove 1411 adjacent the insert 13, a second groove 1412 adjacent the lip 12, a neck 1413 connecting the first and second grooves 1411, 1412, and a second web 1414 separating the grooves 141. The first recess 1411 is designed to engage with a catch element 25, described below, of the coupling part 20 when the fastening device is in the preassembled state, and the second recess 1412 is designed to engage with a catch element 25, described below, of the coupling part 20 when the fastening device is in the final assembled state. The second strap 1414 separates the first 1411, second 1412 grooves, and neck 1413 and serves to prevent rotation of the coupling 20.

The diameter of the conical section 142 gradually increases from the insertion groove 133 toward the groove 141, so that the below-described opening and closing element 24 of the joint 20 can be opened by the conical section 142.

The coupling element 20 comprises a cover 21, an opening 22 arranged in the center of the cover 21, a sealing rib 23 extending from the cover 21, two opening and closing elements 24 symmetrically arranged on the cover 21, and two latching elements 25 symmetrically arranged on the cover 21.

The cover body 21 is in an arch structure and is symmetrically arranged with a symmetrical plane. The opening 22 is used for inserting the connecting piece 10. The sealing rib 23, the opening and closing element 24, and the latching element 25 are located on the same end face of the cover 21, which faces the end cap 30. The sealing rib 23 and the inner edge and the outer edge of the cover body 21 are arranged at intervals, so that the joint between the sealing rib 23 and the cover body 21 is not easy to deform, and the structural strength is improved. The extending direction of the sealing rib 23 is far away from the central axis of the cover body 21, and the extending direction of the sealing rib 23 and the included angle between the planes of the cover body 21 are acute angles, so that the sealing rib 23 is outwards opened, the sealing performance is improved, and more pressure can be borne.

The opening and closing element 24 and the latching element 25 are arranged directly on the cover 21 by injection molding. The two opening and closing elements 24 are symmetrically arranged by using a symmetrical plane, the symmetrical plane of the two opening and closing elements 24 is overlapped with the symmetrical plane of the cover body 21, the cover body 21 is arched towards the flange 12 by using the symmetrical plane overlapped with the symmetrical plane of the two opening and closing elements 24 as a reference, and the opening direction of the cover body is towards the opening and closing elements 24, so that the cover body 21 can flatten the original arch structure when the opening and closing elements 24 are opened. The cover 21 is made of TPV material, and the opening and closing element 24 and the locking element 25 are made of POM material, so that the cover 21 is softer than the opening and closing element 24 to facilitate bending of the cover 21 when the opening and closing element 24 is opened. The latching elements 25 are located between the two opening elements 24, the two latching elements 25 are arranged symmetrically with respect to a plane of symmetry, and the plane of symmetry of the two latching elements 25 is perpendicular to the plane of symmetry of the two opening elements 24. The locking element 25 is directed radially inward and is provided with a guide groove 251 in the axial direction, so that the locking element 25 can be locked in the first 1411 or the second 1412 groove, and the second web 1414 is located in the guide groove 251 to prevent rotation.

The end cap 30 is disposed between the semicircular end 131 and the limiting member 132 after the connecting member 10 passes through the engaging member 20. The end cap 30 is used to encase the expandable member 24, preventing premature expansion of the expandable member 24.

The fixture is in a pre-assembled state prior to assembly, as shown in fig. 5 and 6. And in the final assembled state after assembly, it is necessary to ensure that the attachment element is fixed to the carrier after assembly, as shown in fig. 7 and 8.

In the preassembled state, the connecting element 10 is inserted through the opening 22 onto the coupling element 20 until the latching element 25 is latched in the first recess 1411, while the second web 1414 is located in the guide recess 251 of the latching element 25, so that the connecting element 10 is at a distance from the flange 12 and the connecting element 10 cannot be rotated. The snap-in element 24 is now in the insertion groove 133 and is enclosed by the end cap 30, i.e. the outer side wall of the snap-in element 24 abuts the inner side wall of the end cap 30, so that the snap-in element 24 cannot splay outwards, so that the fastening device can be inserted into the assembly hole of the carrier in the pre-assembly state.

In the final assembled state, the attachment element 100 is mounted on the connector 10, i.e. between the two flanges 12, and then the joint 20 is inserted into the assembly hole of the carrier 200, with the sealing rib 23 abutting the carrier 200 and the snap-fit element being located in the assembly hole of the carrier 200. Then, applying pressure to connector 10 in the direction of engagement member 20 moves connector 10 until cover 21 engages flange 12, such that latch assembly 25 disengages from first recess 1411 and slides over neck 1413 into second recess 1412. During the movement of the connector 10, the opening and closing element 24 is expanded by the conical section 142, so that the opening and closing element 24 is pressed against the assembly hole of the carrier 200, and the fixing device is connected with the attaching element 100 and the carrier 200. Since the symmetry planes of the two opening and closing elements 24 and the symmetry plane of the cover body 21 coincide with each other, and the cover body 21 is bowed toward the flange 12 with the opening direction toward the opening and closing elements 24 with the symmetry plane coinciding with the symmetry planes of the two opening and closing elements 24 as a reference. The cover body 21 is made to be in an arch structure, and in the process that the opening and closing element 24 is opened, the opening and closing element 24 drives the cover body 21 to bend, so that the cover body 21 which is originally in the arch shape is flattened after the opening and closing element 24 is opened, the cover body 21 is attached to the carrier 200 more tightly, no gap is formed, and the sealing performance and the structural strength are improved.

Compared with the prior art, the fixing device provided by the invention comprises the connecting piece 10, the joint piece 20 and the end cap 30. The coupling element 20 comprises a cover 21, an opening 22 arranged in the center of the cover 21, a sealing rib 23 extending from the cover 21, two opening and closing elements 24 symmetrically arranged on the cover 21, and two latching elements 25 symmetrically arranged on the cover 21. The sealing rib 23 and the inner edge and the outer edge of the cover body 21 are arranged at intervals, so that the joint between the sealing rib 23 and the cover body 21 is not easy to deform, and the structural strength is improved. The extending direction of the sealing rib 23 is far away from the central axis of the cover body 21, and the extending direction of the sealing rib 23 and the included angle between the planes of the cover body 21 are acute angles, so that the sealing rib 23 is outwards opened, the sealing performance is improved, and more pressure can be borne. The cover body 21 is in an arch structure and is symmetrically arranged with a symmetrical plane. The symmetry plane of the two opening and closing elements 24 and the symmetry plane of the cover body 21 are overlapped with each other, and the cover body 21 is arched toward the flange 12 with the symmetry plane overlapped with the symmetry plane of the two opening and closing elements 24 as a reference, and the opening direction is toward the opening and closing elements 24. In the process of opening the opening and closing element 24, the opening and closing element 24 drives the cover body 21 to bend, so that the cover body 21 which is originally arched becomes flat after the opening and closing element 24 is opened, the cover body 21 is attached to the carrier 200 more tightly without gaps, and the sealing property and the structural strength are improved.
