Disclosure of Invention

Problems to be solved by the invention

In future wireless communication systems (e.g., NRs), a User terminal (User Equipment (UE)) measures a Channel State using a Channel State Information Reference Signal (CSI-RS) and feeds back (reports) Channel State Information (CSI) to a network (e.g., a base station).

As a feedback method of CSI, Aperiodic CSI (AP-CSI) reporting is being studied. The CSI-RS measured for AP-CSI reporting may also be referred to as AP CSI-RS (or A-CSI-RS) (Aperiodic CSI-RS).

In NR, an assumption is being studied that a Quasi-Co-location (qcl) for receiving an AP-CSI-RS is determined based on beam switching timing reported by a UE.

However, in the current NR specification, all cases in the case where the reported value of the beam switching timing is any one of 14, 28, and 48 cannot be supported. Therefore, in compliance with the current NR specification, there is a case where it is not possible to appropriately decide the TCI state of the AP-CSI-RS (QCL assumption) and measure the CSI, and there is a concern that an increase in communication throughput is suppressed.

Accordingly, an object of the present disclosure is to provide a user terminal and a wireless communication method capable of appropriately determining a TCI state (QCL assumption) of an AP-CSI-RS.

Means for solving the problems

A user terminal according to an aspect of the present disclosure includes: a COntrol unit configured to determine a Quasi-common address (Quasi-Co-location (QCL)) assumption of an Aperiodic Channel State Information Reference Signal (AP CSI-RS)) based on a CORESET of a specific CORESET-ID in a latest slot in which one or more COntrol REsource SETs (COntrol REsource SET (CORESET) are monitored, wherein (1) a scheduling offset between reception of a downlink COntrol Channel for scheduling Transmission of downlink COntrol Information of the AP-CSI-RS and reception of the AP-CSI-RS is smaller than a value of a reported period for beam switching, (2) another downlink Signal having an indicated Transmission setting indicator State (TCI State) does not exist in a same symbol as the AP-CSI-RS, or the presence of other downlink signals that do not have an indicated TCI status; and a receiving unit to receive the AP-CSI-RS using the QCL assumption.

Effects of the invention

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, the TCI state of the AP-CSI-RS can be appropriately determined (QCL assumption).

Detailed Description

(TCI, QCL, spatial relationship)

In NR, reception processing (e.g., at least one of reception, demapping, demodulation, and decoding) and Transmission processing (e.g., at least one of Transmission, mapping, precoding, modulation, and coding) in a UE based on a Transmission Configuration Indication state (TCI state), at least one of a control signal and a channel (expressed as a signal/channel) are being studied.

The TCI status may also represent the TCI status of the signal/channel being applied to the downlink. The TCI state corresponding to the TCI state of the signal/channel applied to the uplink may also be expressed as a spatial relationship (spatial relationship).

The TCI state is Information related to Quasi-Co-location (qcl) of a signal/channel, and may be referred to as Spatial reception parameter(s), Spatial Relationship Information (SRI), and the like. The TCI status may be set to the UE per channel or per signal.

QCL is an index representing the statistical properties of a signal/channel. For example, in the case where a certain signal/channel and another signal/channel have a QCL relationship, it can be assumed that at least one of Doppler shift (Doppler shift), Doppler spread (Doppler spread), average delay (average delay), delay spread (delay spread), and spatial parameter (spatial Rx parameter) (for example), is the same (at least one of them is QCL) between these different signals/channels.

In addition, the spatial reception parameter may correspond to a reception beam (e.g., a reception analog beam) of the UE, and the beam may be determined based on a spatial QCL. QCL (or at least one element of QCL) in the present disclosure may also be replaced with sQCL (spatial QCL).

QCLs may also be specified in multiple types (QCL types). For example, four QCL types a-D may also be provided, whose parameters (or parameter sets) that can be assumed to be the same are different, expressed as follows with respect to the parameters:

QCL type A: doppler shift, doppler spread, mean delay, and delay spread;

QCL type B: doppler shift and doppler spread;

QCL type C: doppler shift and mean delay;

QCL type D: the space receives the parameters.

The UE considers a specific Control Resource Set (CORESET), a channel or a reference signal in a specific QCL (e.g., QCL type D) relationship with other CORESETs, channels or reference signals, and may also be referred to as QCL assumption.

The UE may also determine at least one of a transmit beam (Tx beam) and a receive beam (Rx beam) for a signal/channel based on the TCI status or QCL assumption for the signal/channel.

The TCI state may be information relating to QCL between a channel to be a target (or a Reference Signal (RS)) for the channel and another Signal (e.g., another Downlink Reference Signal (DL-RS)). The TCI state may also be set (indicated) by higher layer signaling, physical layer signaling, or a combination thereof.

In the present disclosure, the higher layer signaling may be any one of Radio Resource Control (RRC) signaling, Medium Access Control (MAC) signaling, broadcast information, and the like, or a combination thereof, for example.

MAC signaling may also use, for example, a MAC Control Element (MAC CE), a MAC Protocol Data Unit (PDU), and the like. The broadcast Information may be, for example, a Master Information Block (MIB), a System Information Block (SIB), Minimum System Information (Remaining Minimum System Information (RMSI)), Other System Information (OSI)), or the like.

The physical layer signaling may also be, for example, Downlink Control Information (DCI).

The Channel for which the TCI state is set (designated) may be at least one of a Downlink Shared Channel (Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH)), a Downlink Control Channel (Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH))), an Uplink Shared Channel (Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH))), and an Uplink Control Channel (Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH))).

The RS (DL-RS) that has a QCL relationship with the Channel may be at least one of a Synchronization Signal Block (SSB), a Channel State Information Reference Signal (CSI-RS), and a measurement Reference Signal (Sounding Reference Signal (SRS)). Alternatively, the DL-RS may be a CSI-RS (also referred to as Tracking Reference Signal (TRS)) used for Tracking or a Reference Signal (also referred to as QRS) used for QCL detection.

The SSB is a Signal block including at least one of a Primary Synchronization Signal (PSS), a Secondary Synchronization Signal (SSS), and a Broadcast Channel (Physical Broadcast Channel (PBCH)). The SSB may also be referred to as an SS/PBCH block.

The information element of the TCI state (the "TCI-state IE" of the RRC) set by the higher layer signaling may also contain one or more QCL information ("QCL-Info"). The QCL information may include at least one of information related to DL-RS which becomes a QCL relationship (DL-RS relationship information) and information indicating a QCL type (QCL type information). The DL-RS relationship information may include information such as an index of the DL-RS (e.g., SSB index, Non-Zero-power CSI-RS (nzp) CSI-RS), resource id (identifier), an index of a cell in which the RS is located, and an index of a Bandwidth Part (BWP) in which the RS is located.

< TCI State for PDCCH >)

Information on QCL between a PDCCH (or a DeModulation Reference Signal (DMRS) antenna port associated with the PDCCH) and a specific DL-RS may also be referred to as TCI state or the like for the PDCCH.

The UE may also determine the TCI status for the UE-specific pdcch (coreset) based on higher layer signaling. For example, one or more (K) TCI states may be set for the UE by RRC signaling for each CORESET.

In the UE, one of a plurality of TCI states set for each core set by RRC signaling may also be activated by the MAC CE. This MAC CE may also be referred to as a TCI status Indication MAC CE (TCI State Indication for UE-specific PDCCH MAC CE) for UE-specific PDCCH. The UE may also perform monitoring of the CORESET based on the activated TCI status corresponding to the CORESET.

< TCI State for PDSCH >

Information related to QCL between PDSCH (or DMRS antenna port associated with PDSCH) and specific DL-RS may also be referred to as TCI status for PDSCH, etc.

The UE may be notified (set) of M (M ≧ 1) TCI states (QCL information for M PDSCHs) for the PDSCH by higher layer signaling. In addition, the number M of TCI states set to the UE may also be limited by at least one of UE capability (UE capability) and QCL type.

The DCI used for scheduling the PDSCH may include a specific field (e.g., may be referred to as a TCI field, a TCI status field, etc.) indicating a TCI status for the PDSCH. The DCI may also be used for scheduling PDSCH of one cell, and may also be referred to as DL DCI, DL assignment, DCI format 1_0, DCI format 1_1, or the like, for example.

Whether the TCI field is included in the DCI may also be controlled by information notified to the UE from the base station. The information may be information indicating whether or not a (present or present) TCI field exists in the DCI (TCI-PresentInDCI). This information may also be set to the UE through, for example, higher layer signaling.

In case more than 8 TCI states are set to the UE, less than 8 TCI states may also be activated (or designated) using the MAC CE. The MAC CE may also be referred to as a TCI state Activation/Deactivation MAC CE (TCI States Activation/Deactivation for UE-specific PDSCH MAC CE) for the UE-specific PDSCH. The value of the TCI field within the DCI may also indicate one of the TCI states activated by the MAC CE.

(CSI)

In NR, a UE measures a Channel State using a specific reference signal (or a resource for the reference signal), and feeds back (reports) Channel State Information (CSI) to a base station.

The UE may also measure the channel state using the CSI-RS, SS/PBCH block, DMRS, etc. as reference signals.

As a feedback method of CSI, Periodic CSI (P-CSI) report, Aperiodic CSI (AP-CSI or a-CSI) report, Semi-Persistent CSI (SP-CSI)) report, and the like are being studied.

SP-CSI reporting using PUCCH (PUCCH-based SP-CSI reporting) may also be activated by the MAC CE. SP-CSI reporting using PUSCH (PUSCH-based SP-CSI reporting), AP-CSI reporting using PUSCH or PUCCH, and the like may also be activated (or triggered) through DCI.

For example, one trigger state may be specified from among a plurality of trigger states (trigger states) set by higher layer signaling (e.g., RRC signaling) through a CSI request field (CSI request field) included in the DCI. In addition, the CSI request field may be replaced with the CSI trigger field.

The CSI-RS measured for AP-CSI reporting may also be referred to as AP CSI-RS (or A-CSI-RS) (Aperiodic CSI-RS). In the AP-CSI report, because the measurement of the AP-CSI-RS and the AP-CSI report are triggered simultaneously by using the DCI, RS resources and uplink channel resources can be used efficiently, and the CSI report can be triggered dynamically.

The list of trigger states for AP-CSI reporting may also be set by the RRC information element "CSI-aperiodictriggerstatlisti". Each trigger state may be associated with one or more report configuration IDs (CSI-reportconfigids), CSI resource configuration information, TCI states (or QCL assumptions) of AP-CSI-RSs, and the like.

The UE may also be instructed, by a higher layer, to include the RS resources of the QCL and the QCL settings of the QCL type with respect to the AP-CSI-RS resources of the CSI-RS resource set associated with the trigger state. For example, the TCI status (or QCL assumption) of an AP-CSI-RS may also be specified by (the CSI request field of) a DCI that triggers measurement of the AP-CSI-RS.

Incidentally, the period from the DCI to the AP CSI-RS indicated by the DCI may be determined in association with the trigger state described above. For example, the UE determines a CSI-RS resource set ID corresponding to a CSI-RS resource set of the measurement object based on the trigger state. The CSI-RS resource set ID may also be associated with an aperiodic triggering offset (aperiodic triggering offset). The aperiodic trigger offset can also be replaced with a scheduling offset.

The scheduling offset may also refer to an offset between the last symbol of a PDCCH (or the last slot containing the PDCCH) that transmits DCI triggering a resource set of AP CSI-RS and the first symbol of the AP-CSI-RS resource (or slot) of the resource set. The scheduling offset of the AP CSI-RS may be set to a value of, for example, 0 to 4, or may be set to a value greater than 4. The information of the scheduling offset of the AP CSI-RS may also correspond to "aperiodic triggergerningoffset" of the RRC parameter.

In the present disclosure, the scheduling offset may be a period from the reception of a specific DCI (pdcch) (for example, the last symbol) to the start of a signal or channel scheduled (or triggered) by the DCI (for example, the first symbol). The scheduling offset may be replaced with a period for scheduling, a period from the PDCCH to the scheduled signal/channel, or the like.

Further, defining UE capability (UE capability) related to beam switching timing is being studied. The UE capability is AP-CSI-RS beam switching timing (AP-CSI-RS beam switching timing), and may also be referred to as only beam switching timing, beam switching timing (RRC parameter "beam switching timing"), and the like.

The beam switching timing may also be defined by a minimum time (e.g., number of OFDM symbols) between the DCI triggering the AP CSI-RS and the transmission of the AP CSI-RS. The beam switching timing may indicate a time from the reception of the last symbol of the DCI to the first symbol of the AP CSI-RS triggered by the DCI. The beam switching timing may also be based on, for example, delays related to decoding of the PDCCH and beam switching.

The beam switching timing may also be applied to at least one of the first Frequency band (FR 1: Frequency Range 1(Frequency Range 1)) and the second Frequency band (FR 2: Frequency Range 2). For example, FR1 may be a frequency band of 6GHz or less (sub-6GHz)), and FR2 may be a frequency band higher than 24GHz (24GHz or more (above-24 GHz)). The frequency bands, definitions, and the like of FR1 and FR2 are not limited to these.

The beam switching timing may take a different value for each subcarrier interval (e.g., 60kHz, 120 kHz).

The beam switching timing can take the same value as, for example, 14, 28, 48, 224, 336 symbols. The large value of 336 symbols in comparison was studied in consideration of the time for turning on the power of the panel receiving the AP CSI-RS from off when the UE mounts a multi-panel. This is because the panel of inactive beams may also have its power turned off by the UE.

In the specifications of the NR currently being studied, in the case where the scheduling offset of the AP-CSI-RS is above the beam switching timing reported by the UE, and in the case where the value of the reported beam switching timing is any of 14, 28, and 48, the UE may also expect to apply a QCL assumption in the specified TCI state for the AP-CSI-RS resource of the CSI triggered state specified by the CSI trigger (request) field of the DCI (the UE is expected to apply the QCL assumptions in the indicated TCI states for the adaptive CSI-RS resources in the CSI triggered state by the CSI trigger field of the DCI). That is, in this case, the UE may also receive the AP-CSI-RS based on the TCI status specified by the DCI.

Further, when the scheduling offset of the AP-CSI-RS is smaller than the beam switching timing reported by the UE and the reported beam switching timing has any one of values of 14, 28, and 48, if another DL signal having the indicated TCI state is present in the same symbol as the AP-CSI-RS, the UE may apply QCL assumption of the other DL signal at the time of reception of the AP-CSI-RS. This has led to a specification that does not control the TCI state of the AP-CSI-RS by triggering the DCI of the AP-CSI-RS. This is because, after demodulating DCI, it takes time to switch the reception beam of the UE until it is too late to receive the AP-CSI-RS.

The other DL signal may be at least one of an AP-CSI-RS (that is, other AP-CSI-RS), a P-CSI-RS, and an SP-CSI-RS having a scheduling offset equal to or greater than a predetermined threshold (UE capability information "timeduration for qcl") (that is, an offset from the reception of DCI to the start of the reception of the PDSCH scheduled by the DCI is equal to or greater than the predetermined threshold), and a scheduling offset equal to or greater than any one of the beam switching timings 14, 28, and 48 reported by the UE.

the timeDurationForQCL may also be defined by receiving PDCCH by the UE and applying the spatial QCL information of the PDCCH (dci) to the minimum time (e.g., number of OFDM symbols) for PDSCH processing. The beam switching timing may indicate a time from the reception of the last symbol of the DCI to the first symbol of the AP CSI-RS triggered by the DCI. the timeDurationForQCL as a physical layer parameter may also be referred to as Threshold-scheduled-Offset. the timeDurationForQCL can take values of, for example, 7, 14, 28 symbols, etc.

The QCL of the other DL signal can be assumed to be applied to the AP-CSI-RS, and may be limited to a case where the NZP CSI-RS resource set defining the AP-CSI-RS resource does not have the high layer parameters "trs-Info" and "repetition".

For a set of NZP CSI-RS resources for which trs-Info is set to true (true), the antenna ports of all NZP CSI-RS resources of the set may also be the same. For a NZP CSI-RS resource set with Repetition set to off (off), the UE may not assume that NZP CSI-RS resources within the resource set are transmitted through the same downlink spatial domain transmission filter.

Fig. 1 is a diagram illustrating an example of QCL assumption of AP CSI-RS. Fig. 1 shows an example where DCI 1 schedules (triggers) an AP-CSI-RS, and DCI 0 schedules other DL signals of the same symbol as the AP-CSI-RS. The UE may include any one of 14, 28, and 48 as the value of the beam switching timing in the UE capability information and report it to the network.

In fig. 1, the scheduling offset 1 of DCI 1 and AP CSI-RS is smaller than the beam switching timing. Meanwhile, the scheduling offset 0 of DCI 0 and other DL signals is equal to or greater than a threshold value. In this case, the UE may also apply the QCL assumption for the other DL signals to the reception of the AP CSI-RS.

The reception timing of DCI 0 and DCI 1 in fig. 1 is not limited to this. The embodiments of the present disclosure can also be applied to a case where the reception timing of DCI scheduling an AP-CSI-RS is the same as that of DCI scheduling other DL signals.

In the present disclosure, the threshold value related to the other DL signal corresponds to the beam switching timing when the other DL signal is the AP-CSI-RS, and corresponds to the value of timeDurationForQCL reported by the UE when the other DL signal is the PDSCH.

However, in the current NR specification described above, it is not possible to correspond to all cases in the case where the scheduling offset of the AP-CSI-RS is smaller than the beam switching timing reported by the UE, and the reported beam switching timing has any one of values of 14, 28, and 48. Therefore, in compliance with the current NR specification, there is a case where it is not possible to appropriately decide the TCI state of the AP-CSI-RS (QCL assumption) and measure the CSI, and there is a concern that an increase in communication throughput is suppressed.

Then, the inventors of the present invention conceived a method of appropriately deciding the TCI state (QCL assumption) of the AP-CSI-RS.

Hereinafter, embodiments according to the present disclosure will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. The radio communication methods according to the respective embodiments may be applied individually or in combination.

In the present disclosure, a panel, an uplink (ul) transmission entity, a TRP, a DeModulation Reference Signal (DMRS) port, a DMRS port group, a Code Division Multiplexing (CDM) group, a PDSCH, a codeword, a base station, and the like may be substituted for each other. In addition, the panel identifier (id)) and the panel may be replaced with each other. The TRP ID and TRP may be substituted for each other. Further, the ID and the index may be replaced with each other.

In the present disclosure, the beam switching timing reported by the UE is assumed to have any one of values 14, 28, and 48, but the value may be replaced with a value smaller than 100, for example.

(Wireless communication method)

< first embodiment >

In the first embodiment, a case will be described where, in the case where the scheduling offset of the AP-CSI-RS is smaller than the beam switching timing reported by the UE, there is no other DL signal (e.g., PDSCH, AP-CSI-RS, P-CSI-RS, SP-CSI-RS) having the indicated TCI state in the same symbol as the AP-CSI-RS.

In this case, the UE may also assume that the QCL assumption for the AP CSI-RS is derived from the CORESET having the smallest CORESET-ID in the latest time slot monitored by the UE for more than one CORESET within the active BWP of the serving cell, and associated with the monitored search space (monitored search space).

In the absence of other DL signals with an indicated TCI state in the same symbol as the AP-CSI-RS, the UE may also apply the QCL assumption of CORESET to the AP-CSI-RS as follows, the CORESET has the smallest CORESET-ID in the most recent slot monitored by the UE for more than one CORESET within the active BWP of the serving cell, and the CORESET is associated with the monitored search space (if heat is no other DL signal with an indicated TCI state in the sample symbols as the CSI-RS, the UE application the QCL assignment of the CORESET associated with an a-handed search space with the lower cost of the slot or more than one core series with the active BWP of the serving cell monitored by the UE).

In the absence of other DL signals having an indicated TCI state in the same symbol as the AP-CSI-RS, the UE may also assume that the AP-CSI-RS of the serving cell and a Reference Signal (RS) in a TCI state of a core having a smallest core-ID in the latest slot monitored by the UE for more than one core within the active BWP of the serving cell and having a smallest core-ID in the same slot as the monitored search space to which the UE is associated are QCLs (i.e., a CSI state of a CSI-RS of a serving cell side-identity RS) are QCLs (QCLs with a specified tcl parameter for the PDCCH) PDCCH quadrature co-location indication of the CORESET associated with a single search space with the local CORESET-ID in the late slot in the white one or more CORESETs with the active BWP of the serving cell area single by the UE).

In addition, in the same symbol as the AP-CSI-RS, when there is no PDSCH having a scheduling offset equal to or greater than a specific threshold (UE capability information "timeduration for QCL") or any of the AP-CSI-RS, P-CSI-RS, and SP-CSI-RS having a scheduling offset equal to or greater than any of the beam switching timings 14, 28, and 48 reported by the UE as another DL signal having the indicated TCI state, the UE may apply the QCL assumption of CORESET to the AP-CSI-RS.

In addition, in the present disclosure, the CORESET-ID may also be an ID (ID for identifying CORESET) set by the RRC information element "ControlResourceSet". Further, in the present disclosure, the "smallest CORESET-ID" may also be replaced with a particular CORESET-ID (e.g., the largest CORESET-ID).

In the present disclosure, the "latest slot" may refer to a slot that is the latest from the timing of receiving the scheduled AP-CSI-RS, or may refer to a slot that is the latest from the timing of receiving the dci (pdcch) that schedules the AP-CSI-RS.

Fig. 2 is a diagram illustrating an example of QCL assumption of the AP CSI-RS according to the first embodiment. An example of DCI 1 scheduling (triggering) AP-CSI-RS is shown in fig. 2.

In fig. 2, the scheduling offset 1 of DCI 1 and AP CSI-RS is smaller than the beam switching timing. Further, in the same symbol as the AP-CSI-RS, there is no other DL signal having the indicated TCI state. In this case, the UE may also apply the QCL assumption for the CORESET with the smallest CORESET-ID in the latest slot described above, associated with the monitored search space, to the reception of the AP CSI-RS.

According to the first embodiment described above, even when the scheduling offset related to the AP CSI-RS is smaller than the beam switching timing and there is no other DL signal having the indicated TCI state, it is possible to determine the QCL assumption for the AP CSI-RS based on the specific CORESET and appropriately perform reception of the AP CSI-RS using the QCL assumption.

< second embodiment >

In the second embodiment, a case will be described where, when the scheduling offset of the AP-CSI-RS is smaller than the beam switching timing reported by the UE, another DL signal (if this is other DL signal with out an indicated TCI state) that does not have the indicated TCI state is present in the same symbol as the AP-CSI-RS.

In addition, "other DL signals without the indicated TCI state" may also be replaced with at least one of a PDSCH with a scheduling offset smaller than a certain threshold (UE capability information "timeduration for qcl") and an AP-CSI-RS with a scheduling offset smaller than any of the beam switching timings 14, 28, and 48 reported by the UE.

In this case, the UE may also assume that the QCL assumption for the AP CSI-RS is derived from the CORESET having the smallest CORESET-ID in the latest timeslot monitored by the UE for more than one CORESET within the active BWP of the serving cell, and that the CORESET is associated with the monitored search space.

In case there are other DL signals in the same symbol as the AP-CSI-RS that do not have the indicated TCI state, the UE may also apply to the AP-CSI-RS a QCL assumption of the CORESET having the smallest CORESET-ID in the latest time slot monitored by the UE for more than one CORESET within the active BWP of the serving cell, and associated with the monitored search space.

In case there are other DL signals in the same symbol as the AP-CSI-RS that do not have the indicated TCI state, the UE may also assume that the AP-CSI-RS of the serving cell and a Reference Signal (RS) in the TCI state of the CORESET having the smallest CORESET-ID in the latest slot monitored by the UE for more than one CORESET within the active BWP of the serving cell with the monitored search space are QCLs.

Fig. 3 is a diagram illustrating an example of QCL assumption of the AP CSI-RS according to the second embodiment. Fig. 3 shows an example where DCI 1 schedules (triggers) the AP-CSI-RS and DCI 0 schedules other DL signals of the same symbol as the AP-CSI-RS.

In fig. 3, the scheduling offset 1 of DCI 1 and AP CSI-RS is smaller than the beam switching timing. In addition, the scheduling offset 0 of DCI 0 and other DL signals is smaller than a threshold. In this case, the UE may also apply the QCL assumption for the CORESET with the smallest CORESET-ID in the latest slot described above, associated with the monitored search space, to the reception of the AP CSI-RS.

According to the second embodiment described above, even when the scheduling offset related to the AP CSI-RS is smaller than the beam switching timing and there is another DL signal having no indicated TCI state, it is possible to determine the QCL assumption of the AP CSI-RS based on the specific CORESET and appropriately perform reception of the AP CSI-RS using the QCL assumption.

< third embodiment >

In the third embodiment, a case will be described where, when the scheduling offset of the AP-CSI-RS is smaller than the beam switching timing reported by the UE, another DL signal is present in the same symbol as the AP-CSI-RS.

In this case, the UE may also apply QCL assumption of the other DL signal when receiving the AP-CSI-RS, regardless of whether the other DL signal has or does not have the indicated TCI status.

In the same symbol as the AP-CSI-RS, in the presence of other DL signals regardless of the presence or absence of the indicated TCI state, the UE may also apply the QCL assumption of the other DL signals (if heat other DL signal recovered with or without the indicated TCI state in the same QCL assumption of the other DL signal receiving the AP-CSI-RS) when receiving the AP-CSI-RS.

That is, the "other DL signal" in the third embodiment may be replaced with at least one of the PDSCH irrespective of having or not having a scheduling offset above a certain threshold (e.g., UE capability information "timeduration for qcl") and the AP-CSI-RS, P-CSI-RS, and SP-CSI-RS irrespective of having or not having a scheduling offset above any one of the beam switching timings 14, 28, and 48 reported by the UE.

Here, the PDSCH that is not associated with a scheduling offset above or without a specific threshold may also be replaced with a PDSCH that has a scheduling offset that is not associated with being less than a specific threshold. In addition, the AP-CSI-RS that is independent of whether there is a scheduling offset equal to or greater than the beam switching timing reported by the UE or not may be replaced with an AP-CSI-RS that has a scheduling offset independent of whether or not it is smaller than the beam switching timing.

In the case of adopting the third embodiment, "other DL signal with TCI state indicated" specified in NR specification so far may be defined as "other DL signal only" and refer to PDSCH, AP-CSI-RS, P-CSI-RS, and SP-CSI-RS for the other DL signal. That is, the definition of the scheduling offset may be removed from the PDSCH and the AP-CSI-RS, which are other DL signals.

According to the third embodiment described above, in the case where the scheduling offset related to the AP CSI-RS is smaller than the beam switching timing and other DL signals are present, the QCL assumption of the AP CSI-RS is determined based on the other DL signals regardless of whether the other DL signals have or do not have the indicated TCI state, and reception of the AP CSI-RS is appropriately performed using the QCL assumption.

< other embodiments >

In the above embodiments, the UE assumes that the QCL of the specific CORESET having the smallest CORESET-ID in the latest slot is applied to the AP-CSI-RS. The "specific CORESET with the smallest CORESET-ID in the latest slot" may also be replaced with dci (PDCCH) triggering (scheduling) the AP-CSI-RS (or CORESET including the PDCCH).

The beam switching timing of the AP-CSI-RS may be different from the threshold value (beam switching timing) of the other DL signal when the other DL signal is the AP-CSI-RS. For example, in the case where the AP-CSI-RS and other DL signals are transmitted or received using different cells or different panels, their beam switching timings may also be different.

In the above embodiments and the current NR specification, several configurations are shown for determining the QCL assumption of the AP CSI-RS based on other DL signals of the same symbol as the AP CSI-RS. At least one of the following (a) to (C) may be added to the condition for deciding the QCL assumption of the AP CSI-RS described with respect to at least one of the above-described embodiments and the current NR specification based on the other DL signal.

(A) The time resources of the AP-CSI-RS and other DL signals are repeated (or coincident) on at least one symbol,

(B) The time resources of the AP-CSI-RS and other DL signals are repeated (or consistent) on all symbols of the AP-CSI-RS,

(C) The time resources of the AP-CSI-RS and other DL signals are repeated (or coincide) over all symbols of the other DL signals.

That is, the UE may also determine the QCL assumption of the AP CSI-RS based on other DL signals of the same symbol as the AP-CSI-RS, if at least one of the above-mentioned (a) to (C) is further satisfied, and otherwise, assume a default QCL assumption. Here, the default QCL assumption may be a QCL assumption applied to a CORESET having the smallest CORESET-ID in the latest slot in which more than one CORESET within the active BWP of the serving cell is monitored, and associated with the monitored search space.

For example, if the time resource of the AP-CSI-RS is longer than the time resource of the other DL signal, the above (B) is not satisfied. For example, if the time resource of the AP-CSI-RS is shorter than the time resource of the other DL signal, the above (C) is not satisfied.

By taking these conditions into account, for example, in the case where a plurality of other DL signals are received in the same symbol as the AP-CSI-RS, a more appropriate QCL assumption with the other DL signals can be applied to the AP-CSI-RS.

(Wireless communication System)

User data, higher layer control information, etc. may also be transmitted via the PUSCH. In addition, a Master Information Block (MIB)) may also be transmitted through PBCH.

The lower layer control information may also be transmitted through the PDCCH. The lower layer Control Information may include, for example, Downlink Control Information (DCI)) including scheduling Information of at least one of the PDSCH and the PUSCH.

The DCI scheduling PDSCH may be referred to as DL assignment, DL DCI, or the like, and the DCI scheduling PUSCH may be referred to as UL grant, UL DCI, or the like. In addition, the PDSCH may be replaced with DL data and the PUSCH may be replaced with UL data.

For PDCCH detection, a COntrol REsource SET (countrol REsource SET (CORESET)) and a search space (search space) may be used. CORESET corresponds to searching for DCI resources. Further, transmission/reception section 120 may transmit AP-CSI-RS, other DL signals, and the like to user terminal 20.

(user terminal)

Fig. 6 is a diagram showing an example of a configuration of a user terminal according to an embodiment. The user terminal 20 includes a control unit 210, a transmission/reception unit 220, and a transmission/reception antenna 230. Further, the control unit 210, the transmission/reception unit 220, and the transmission/reception antenna 230 may be provided in one or more numbers.

In this example, the functional blocks of the characteristic parts in the present embodiment are mainly shown, but the user terminal 20 may be assumed to have other functional blocks necessary for wireless communication. A part of the processing of each unit described below may be omitted.

The control unit 210 performs overall control of the user terminal 20. The control unit 210 can be configured by a controller, a control circuit, and the like described based on common knowledge in the technical field of the present disclosure.

The control unit 210 may also control the generation, mapping, etc. of the signals. Control section 210 may control transmission/reception, measurement, and the like using transmission/reception section 220 and transmission/reception antenna 230. Control section 210 may generate data, control information, a sequence, and the like to be transmitted as a signal, and forward the generated data, control information, sequence, and the like to transmission/reception section 220.

The transceiver unit 220 may also include a baseband unit 221, an RF unit 222, and a measurement unit 223. The baseband section 221 may include a transmission processing section 2211 and a reception processing section 2212. The transmitting/receiving section 220 can be configured by a transmitter/receiver, an RF circuit, a baseband circuit, a filter, a phase shifter, a measurement circuit, a transmitting/receiving circuit, and the like, which are described based on common knowledge in the technical field of the present disclosure.

The transmission/reception unit 220 may be configured as an integrated transmission/reception unit, or may be configured by a transmission unit and a reception unit. The transmission section may be constituted by the transmission processing section 2211 and the RF section 222. The receiving unit may be composed of a reception processing unit 2212, an RF unit 222, and a measuring unit 223.

The transmitting/receiving antenna 230 can be configured by an antenna described based on common knowledge in the technical field of the present disclosure, for example, an array antenna.

The transmitting/receiving unit 220 may receive the downlink channel, the synchronization signal, the downlink reference signal, and the like. The transmission/reception unit 220 may transmit the uplink channel, the uplink reference signal, and the like described above.

Transmit/receive section 220 may form at least one of a transmit beam and a receive beam using digital beamforming (e.g., precoding), analog beamforming (e.g., phase rotation), and the like.

For example, transmission/reception section 220 (transmission processing section 2211) may perform processing in the PDCP layer, processing in the RLC layer (for example, RLC retransmission control), processing in the MAC layer (for example, HARQ retransmission control), and the like on data, control information, and the like acquired from control section 210, and generate a bit sequence to be transmitted.

Transmission/reception section 220 (transmission processing section 2211) may perform transmission processing such as channel coding (including error correction coding as well), modulation, mapping, filtering, DFT processing (if necessary), IFFT processing, precoding, and digital-to-analog conversion on a bit sequence to be transmitted, and output a baseband signal.

Whether or not DFT processing is applied may be set based on transform precoding. For a certain channel (e.g., PUSCH), when transform precoding is active (enabled), transmission/reception section 220 (transmission processing section 2211) may perform DFT processing as the transmission processing in order to transmit the channel using a DFT-s-OFDM waveform, or otherwise, transmission/reception section 220 (transmission processing section 2211) may not perform DFT processing as the transmission processing.

The transmission/reception section 220(RF section 222) may perform modulation, filtering, amplification, and the like on the baseband signal in the radio frequency band, and transmit the signal in the radio frequency band via the transmission/reception antenna 230.

On the other hand, the transmission/reception unit 220(RF unit 222) may perform amplification, filtering, demodulation to a baseband signal, and the like on a signal in a radio frequency band received by the transmission/reception antenna 230.

Transmission/reception section 220 (reception processing section 2212) may apply reception processing such as analog-to-digital conversion, FFT processing, IDFT processing (if necessary), filtering processing, demapping, demodulation, decoding (including error correction decoding), MAC layer processing, RLC layer processing, and PDCP layer processing to the acquired baseband signal, and acquire user data.

The transceiver unit 220 (measurement unit 223) may also perform measurements related to the received signal. For example, the measurement unit 223 may also perform RRM measurement, CSI measurement, and the like based on the received signal. Measurement unit 223 may also measure for received power (e.g., RSRP), received quality (e.g., RSRQ, SINR, SNR), signal strength (e.g., RSSI), propagation path information (e.g., CSI), and the like. The measurement result may also be output to the control unit 210.

In addition, the transmitting unit and the receiving unit of the user terminal 20 in the present disclosure may be at least one of the transmitting/receiving unit 220 and the transmitting/receiving antenna 230.

When both of the following conditions (1) and (2) are satisfied, COntrol section 210 may determine a Quasi-Co-location (qcl)) of an Aperiodic Channel State Information Reference Signal (AP CSI-RS), based on CORESET having a specific CORESET-ID (for example, the smallest CORESET-ID) in the latest slot monitored for one or more COntrol REsource SETs (CORESET) in the active Bandwidth Part (BWP) of the serving cell, and associated with the monitored search space.

Wherein (1) a scheduling offset between reception of a downlink control channel (PDCCH) that schedules Downlink Control Information (DCI) for the AP-CSI-RS and reception of the AP CSI-RS is less than a value of a reported period for beam switching (e.g., any one of 14, 28, 48 and a value of an RRC parameter "beamSwitchTiming"),

(2) in the same symbol as the AP-CSI-RS, there is no other downlink signal (DL signal) having the Transmission Configuration Indication state (TCI state) instructed or there is another downlink signal having no TCI state instructed.

The transceiver unit 220 may also use QCL assumption based on CORESET as described above to receive the AP-CSI-RS.

The other Downlink signal not having the indicated TCI state may be at least one of a Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) having a scheduling offset smaller than a predetermined threshold and an AP-CSI-RS having a scheduling offset smaller than a period for the beam switching.

When both of the conditions (1) and (2) are satisfied, control section 210 may determine a QCL assumption of the AP CSI-RS in accordance with a default QCL assumption of the PDSCH.

The beam switching timing of the present disclosure may also be expressed as a specific threshold (e.g., a different threshold than timeduration for qcl).

(hardware construction)

The block diagram used in the description of the above embodiment shows blocks in functional units. These functional blocks (structural units) are realized by any combination of at least one of hardware and software. The method of implementing each functional block is not particularly limited. That is, each functional block may be implemented by one apparatus that is physically or logically combined, or may be implemented by a plurality of apparatuses that are directly or indirectly (for example, by wire or wireless) connected to two or more apparatuses that are physically or logically separated. The functional blocks may also be implemented by combining the above-described apparatus or apparatuses with software.

Here, the functions include judgment, determination, judgment, calculation, processing, derivation, investigation, search, confirmation, reception, transmission, output, access, solution, selection, establishment, comparison, assumption, expectation, view, broadcast (broadcasting), notification (notification), communication (communicating), forwarding (forwarding), configuration (setting), reconfiguration (resetting), allocation (allocating, mapping), assignment (assigning), and the like, but are not limited to these. For example, a function block (a configuration unit) that realizes a transmission function may also be referred to as a transmission unit (transmitting unit), a transmitter (transmitter), or the like. Any of these methods is not particularly limited, as described above.

For example, the base station, the user terminal, and the like in one embodiment of the present disclosure may also function as a computer that performs processing of the wireless communication method of the present disclosure. Fig. 7 is a diagram showing an example of hardware configurations of a base station and a user terminal according to an embodiment. The base station 10 and the user terminal 20 may be physically configured as a computer device including a processor 1001, a memory 1002, a storage 1003, a communication device 1004, an input device 1005, an output device 1006, a bus 1007, and the like.

In addition, in the present disclosure, terms such as device, circuit, apparatus, section (section), unit, and the like can be substituted for each other. The hardware configurations of the base station 10 and the user terminal 20 may include one or more of the respective devices shown in the drawings, or may not include some of the devices.

For example, only one processor 1001 is illustrated, but there may be multiple processors. The processing may be executed by one processor, or may be executed by two or more processors simultaneously, sequentially, or by another method. The processor 1001 may be mounted on one or more chips.

Each function of the base station 10 and the user terminal 20 is realized by, for example, reading specific software (program) into hardware such as the processor 1001 and the memory 1002, performing an operation by the processor 1001 to control communication via the communication device 1004, or controlling at least one of reading and writing of data in the memory 1002 and the storage 1003.

The processor 1001 controls the entire computer by operating an operating system, for example. The processor 1001 may be configured by a Central Processing Unit (CPU) including an interface with peripheral devices, a control device, an arithmetic device, a register, and the like. For example, at least a part of the control unit 110(210), the transmitting and receiving unit 120(220), and the like may be implemented by the processor 1001.

Further, the processor 1001 reads out a program (program code), a software module, data, and the like from at least one of the storage 1003 and the communication device 1004 to the memory 1002, and executes various processes according to them. As the program, a program that causes a computer to execute at least a part of the operations described in the above-described embodiments can be used. For example, the control unit 110(210) may be realized by a control program stored in the memory 1002 and operated by the processor 1001, and may be similarly realized for other functional blocks.

The Memory 1002 may be a computer-readable recording medium, and may be configured by at least one of a Read Only Memory (ROM), an Erasable Programmable ROM (EPROM), an Electrically Erasable Programmable ROM (EEPROM), a Random Access Memory (RAM), or another suitable storage medium. The memory 1002 may also be referred to as a register, cache, main memory (primary storage), or the like. The memory 1002 can store a program (program code), a software module, and the like that are executable to implement the wireless communication method according to one embodiment of the present disclosure.

The storage 1003 may be a computer-readable recording medium, and may be configured by at least one of a flexible disk (flexible disc), a Floppy (registered trademark) disk, a magneto-optical disk (e.g., a Compact disc read only memory (CD-ROM)) or the like), a digital versatile disc (dvd), a Blu-ray (registered trademark) disk (Blu-ray disc), a removable disk (removable disc), a hard disk drive, a smart card (smart card), a flash memory device (e.g., a card (card), a stick (stick), a key drive (keydrive)), a magnetic stripe (stripe), a database, a server, or other suitable storage medium, for example, the storage 1003 may be referred to as an auxiliary storage device.

The communication device 1004 is hardware (transmission/reception device) for performing communication between computers via at least one of a wired network and a wireless network, and is also referred to as a network device, a network controller, a network card, a communication module, or the like, for example. Communication device 1004 may be configured to include a high-Frequency switch, a duplexer, a filter, a Frequency synthesizer, and the like, in order to realize at least one of Frequency Division Duplexing (FDD) and Time Division Duplexing (TDD), for example. For example, the transmitting/receiving unit 120(220), the transmitting/receiving antenna 130(230), and the like described above may be implemented by the communication device 1004. (modification example)

In addition, terms described in the present disclosure and terms required for understanding the present disclosure may be replaced with terms having the same or similar meanings. For example, channels, symbols, and signals (signals or signaling) may be substituted for one another. Further, the signal may also be a message. The Reference Signal (Reference Signal) may also be referred to as RS for short, and may also be referred to as Pilot (Pilot), Pilot Signal, etc. depending on the applied standard. Further, component carriers (ccs)) may also be referred to as cells, frequency carriers, carrier frequencies, and the like.

A radio frame may also be made up of one or more periods (frames) in the time domain. Each of the one or more periods (frames) constituting the radio frame may also be referred to as a subframe. Further, a subframe may also be composed of one or more slots in the time domain. The subframe may also be a fixed time length (e.g., 1ms) independent of a parameter set (numerology).

Here, the parameter set may also refer to a communication parameter applied in at least one of transmission and reception of a certain signal or channel. For example, the parameter set may indicate at least one of SubCarrier Spacing (SCS), bandwidth, symbol length, cyclic prefix length, Transmission Time Interval (TTI), the number of symbols per TTI, radio frame structure, specific filtering processing performed by the transceiver in the frequency domain, specific windowing processing performed by the transceiver in the Time domain, and the like.

The time slot may be formed of one or more symbols (orthogonal frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM)) symbols, Single carrier frequency Division Multiple Access (SC-FDMA) symbols, or the like) in the time domain. Further, the time slot may also be a time unit based on a parameter set.

A timeslot may also contain multiple mini-slots. Each mini slot (mini slot) may also be formed of one or more symbols in the time domain. In addition, a mini-slot may also be referred to as a sub-slot. A mini-slot may also be made up of a fewer number of symbols than a slot. PDSCH (or PUSCH) transmitted in a time unit larger than a mini slot may also be referred to as PDSCH (PUSCH) mapping type a. PDSCH (or PUSCH) transmitted using mini-slots may also be referred to as PDSCH (PUSCH) mapping type B.

The radio frame, subframe, slot, mini-slot, and symbol all represent a unit of time when a signal is transmitted. The radio frame, subframe, slot, mini-slot, and symbol may also use other names corresponding to each. In addition, time units such as frames, subframes, slots, mini-slots, symbols, etc. in the present disclosure may be replaced with one another.

For example, one subframe may also be referred to as TTI, a plurality of consecutive subframes may also be referred to as TTI, and one slot or one mini-slot may also be referred to as TTI. That is, at least one of the subframe and TTI may be a subframe (1ms) in the conventional LTE, may be a period shorter than 1ms (for example, 1 to 13 symbols), or may be a period longer than 1 ms. The unit indicating TTI may be referred to as a slot, a mini slot, or the like, instead of a subframe.

Here, the TTI refers to, for example, the minimum time unit of scheduling in wireless communication. For example, in the LTE system, the base station performs scheduling for allocating radio resources (such as a frequency bandwidth and transmission power usable by each user terminal) to each user terminal in TTI units. In addition, the definition of TTI is not limited thereto.

The TTI may be a transmission time unit of a channel-coded data packet (transport block), code block, code word, or the like, or may be a processing unit of scheduling, link adaptation, or the like. In addition, when a TTI is given, a time interval (e.g., the number of symbols) to which a transport block, a code block, a codeword, or the like is actually mapped may be shorter than the TTI.

When one slot or one mini-slot is referred to as a TTI, one or more TTIs (i.e., one or more slots or one or more mini-slots) may be the minimum time unit for scheduling. The number of slots (the number of mini-slots) constituting the minimum time unit of the schedule may be controlled.

The TTI having a time length of 1ms may also be referred to as a normal TTI (TTI in 3GPP Rel.8-12), a standard TTI, a long TTI, a normal subframe, a standard subframe, a long subframe, a slot, etc. A TTI shorter than a normal TTI may also be referred to as a shortened TTI, a short TTI, a partial TTI, a shortened subframe, a short subframe, a mini-slot, a sub-slot, a slot, etc.

In addition, a long TTI (e.g., a normal TTI, a subframe, etc.) may be replaced with a TTI having a time length exceeding 1ms, and a short TTI (e.g., a shortened TTI, etc.) may be replaced with a TTI having a TTI length smaller than that of the long TTI and equal to or longer than 1 ms.

A Resource Block (RB) is a Resource allocation unit in the time domain and the frequency domain, and may include one or a plurality of continuous subcarriers (subcarriers) in the frequency domain. The number of subcarriers included in an RB may be the same regardless of the parameter set, and may be 12, for example. The number of subcarriers included in the RB may also be decided based on the parameter set.

In addition, an RB may include one or more symbols in the time domain, and may have a length of one slot, one mini-slot, one subframe, or one TTI. One TTI, one subframe, and the like may be formed of one or more resource blocks.

In addition, one or more RBs may also be referred to as a Physical Resource Block (PRB), a subcarrier Group (SCG), a Resource Element Group (REG), a PRB pair, an RB pair, and the like.

Furthermore, a Resource block may also be composed of one or more Resource Elements (REs). For example, one RE may also be a radio resource region of one subcarrier and one symbol.

The Bandwidth Part (BWP) (which may be referred to as a partial Bandwidth) may also indicate a subset of consecutive common RBs (common resource blocks) for a certain parameter set in a certain carrier. Here, the common RB may also be determined by an index of an RB with reference to a common reference point of the carrier. PRBs may also be defined in a certain BWP and are numbered additionally within the BWP.

The BWP may include UL BWP (UL BWP) and DL BWP (DL BWP). One or more BWPs may also be set for the UE within one carrier.

At least one of the set BWPs may be active, and the UE may not expect to transmit and receive a specific signal/channel other than the active BWP. In addition, "cell", "carrier", and the like in the present disclosure may also be replaced with "BWP".

The above-described configurations of radio frames, subframes, slots, mini slots, symbols, and the like are merely examples. For example, the structure of the number of subframes included in a radio frame, the number of slots per subframe or radio frame, the number of mini-slots included in a slot, the number of symbols and RBs included in a slot or mini-slot, the number of subcarriers included in an RB, the number of symbols in a TTI, the symbol length, the Cyclic Prefix (CP) length, and the like can be variously changed.

The information, parameters, and the like described in the present disclosure may be expressed as absolute values, relative values to specific values, or other corresponding information. For example, the radio resource may also be indicated by a specific index.

In the present disclosure, the names used for the parameters and the like are not limitative names in all aspects. Further, the mathematical expressions and the like using these parameters may also be different from those explicitly disclosed in the present disclosure. Various channels (PUCCH, PDCCH, etc.) and information elements can be identified by any suitable names, and thus, the various names assigned to these various channels and information elements are not limitative names in all aspects.

Information, signals, and the like described in this disclosure may be represented using any of a variety of different technologies. For example, data, instructions, commands, information, signals, bits, symbols, chips, and the like that may be referenced throughout the above description may be represented by voltages, currents, electromagnetic waves, magnetic fields or particles, optical fields or photons, or any combination thereof.

Information, signals, and the like can be output to at least one of a higher layer (upper layer) to a lower layer (lower layer) and a lower layer to a higher layer. Information, signals, and the like may be input and output via a plurality of network nodes.

The input/output information, signals, and the like may be stored in a specific location (for example, a memory) or may be managed by a management table. The input/output information, signals, and the like may be overwritten, updated, or appended. The output information, signals, etc. may also be deleted. The input information, signals, etc. may also be transmitted to other devices.

The information notification is not limited to the embodiment and embodiment described in the present disclosure, and may be performed by other methods. For example, the notification of Information in the present disclosure may be performed by physical layer signaling (e.g., Downlink Control Information (DCI)), Uplink Control Information (UCI)), higher layer signaling (e.g., Radio Resource Control (RRC)) signaling, broadcast Information (Master Information Block (MIB)), System Information Block (SIB)), etc.), Medium Access Control (MAC) signaling, other signals, or a combination thereof.

The physical Layer signaling may also be referred to as Layer 1/Layer 2(Layer 1/Layer 2) (L1/L2) control information (L1/L2 control signal), L1 control information (L1 control signal), and the like. The RRC signaling may also be referred to as an RRC message, and may be, for example, an RRC Connection Setup (RRC Connection Setup) message, an RRC Connection Reconfiguration (RRC Connection Reconfiguration) message, or the like. The MAC signaling may be notified using a MAC control element (MAC (control element) (ce), for example.

Note that the notification of the specific information (for example, the notification of "X") is not limited to an explicit notification, and may be performed implicitly (for example, by not performing the notification of the specific information or by performing the notification of other information).

The decision may be made by a value (0 or 1) represented by one bit, by a true-false value (boolean) represented by true (true) or false (false), or by a comparison of values (e.g., with a specific value).

Software, whether referred to as software (software), firmware (firmware), middleware-ware (middle-ware), microcode (micro-code), hardware description language, or by other names, should be broadly construed to mean instructions, instruction sets, code (code), code segments (code segments), program code (program code), programs (program), subroutines (sub-program), software modules (software module), applications (application), software applications (software application), software packages (software packages), routines (routine), subroutines (sub-routine), objects (object), executables, threads of execution, processes, functions, or the like.

Software, instructions, information, and the like may also be transmitted or received via a transmission medium. For example, where the software is transmitted from a website, server, or other remote source (remote source) using at least one of wired technology (coaxial cable, fiber optic cable, twisted pair, Digital Subscriber Line (DSL)), etc.) and wireless technology (infrared, microwave, etc.), at least one of these wired and wireless technologies is included within the definition of transmission medium.

The base station can accommodate one or more (e.g., three) cells. In the case where a base station accommodates a plurality of cells, the entire coverage area of the base station can be divided into a plurality of smaller areas, and each smaller area can also provide a communication service through a base station subsystem (e.g., an indoor small base station (Remote Radio Head (RRH))). the term "cell" or "sector" refers to a part or the entire coverage area of at least one of the base station and the base station subsystem that performs a communication service within the coverage area.

In the present disclosure, terms such as "Mobile Station (MS)", "User terminal (User terminal)", "User Equipment (UE))", "terminal" and the like are used interchangeably.

The mobile body may be a vehicle (e.g., a vehicle, an airplane, etc.), may be a mobile body that moves in an unmanned manner (e.g., a drone (a drone), an autonomous vehicle, etc.), or may be a robot (manned or unmanned). At least one of the base station and the mobile station further includes a device that does not necessarily move when performing a communication operation. For example, at least one of the base station and the mobile station may be an Internet of Things (IoT) device such as a sensor.

In addition, the base station in the present disclosure may also be replaced with a user terminal. For example, the various aspects/embodiments of the present disclosure may also be applied to a configuration in which communication between a base station and a user terminal is replaced with communication between a plurality of user terminals (e.g., may also be referred to as Device-to-Device (D2D)), Vehicle networking (V2X), etc.). In this case, the user terminal 20 may have the functions of the base station 10 described above. The expressions such as "uplink" and "downlink" may be replaced with expressions (for example, "side") corresponding to inter-terminal communication. For example, the uplink channel, the downlink channel, and the like may be replaced with the side channel.

Likewise, the user terminal in the present disclosure may also be replaced with a base station. In this case, the base station 10 may have the functions of the user terminal 20 described above.

In the present disclosure, the operation performed by the base station is sometimes performed by an upper node (uplink) thereof, depending on the case. Obviously, in a network including one or more network nodes (network nodes) having a base station, various actions performed for communication with a terminal may be performed by the base station, one or more network nodes other than the base station (for example, considering a Mobility Management Entity (MME), a Serving-Gateway (S-GW), and the like, but not limited thereto), or a combination thereof.

The embodiments and modes described in the present disclosure may be used alone, may be used in combination, or may be switched to use with execution. Note that, in the embodiments and the embodiments described in the present disclosure, the order of the processes, sequences, flowcharts, and the like may be changed as long as they are not contradictory. For example, elements of various steps are presented in an exemplary order for a method described in the present disclosure, but the present invention is not limited to the specific order presented.

Any reference to the use of the terms "first," "second," etc. in this disclosure does not fully define the amount or order of such elements. These designations may be used in this disclosure as a convenient method of distinguishing between two or more elements. Thus, reference to first and second elements does not imply that only two elements may be used or that the first element must somehow override the second element.

The combination or connection between the elements may be physical, logical, or a combination of these. For example, "connect" may also be replaced with "access".

In the present disclosure, where two elements are connected, it can be considered to be "connected" or "joined" to each other using more than one wire, cable, printed electrical connection, etc., and using electromagnetic energy having a wavelength in the radio frequency domain, the microwave region, the optical (both visible and invisible) region, etc., as several non-limiting and non-inclusive examples.

In the present disclosure, the term "a is different from B" may mean "a and B are different from each other". In addition, the term may also mean "a and B are different from C, respectively". The terms "separate", "associated", and the like may likewise be construed as "different".

In the present disclosure, when the terms "including", and "variations thereof are used, these terms are intended to have inclusive meanings as in the term" comprising ". Further, the term "or" used in the present disclosure does not mean exclusive or.

In the present disclosure, for example, in the case where articles are added by translation as in a, an, and the in english, the present disclosure may also include the case where nouns following these articles are plural.

Although the invention according to the present disclosure has been described in detail above, it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that the invention according to the present disclosure is not limited to the embodiments described in the present disclosure.
