1. A cooling container, such as a refrigerated container of a truck or trailer, a railway container, an intermodal container or a shipping container, comprising panels to be connected, characterized by at least one connection between the panels (10,40) comprising a layer of overmoulded material (14), wherein the panels (10,40) are at least partially covered by the overmoulded material (14) on a first side (100) and a second side (200).

2. A cooling container according to claim 1, wherein the overmould material (14) is a polymer.

3. A cooling container according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the panels (10,40) are perforated, fusing the overmoulded material (14) on the first side (100) of an edge (12) of the panel (10,40) with the overmoulded material (14) on the second side (200) of the edge (12) of the panel (10, 40).

4. A cooling container according to claim 3, wherein the panels (10,40) are perforated in a pattern of elongated holes (13).

5. A cooling container according to claim 3, wherein the panels (10,40) are perforated with a pattern of circular holes (13).

6. A cooling container according to claim 3, 4 or 5, wherein said holes (13) are arranged in more than one row.

7. A cooling container according to claim 3, 4, 5 or 6, wherein the holes (13) are arranged in a first row and a second row, wherein the second row is displaced in relation to the first row in such a way that the centre or middle of the holes in the second row is placed in alignment with the middle distance between the holes (13) placed in the first row.

8. A cooling container according to claim 7, wherein the holes (13) arranged in the second row are displaced in relation to the first and third rows.

9. Cooling container according to one or more of the preceding claims, wherein the overmould material (14) is placed on the panel (10,40) along an edge (12) of the panel (10, 40).

10. Cooling container according to one or more of the preceding claims, wherein at least one of the panels (10,40) is made of metal.

11. Cooling container according to one or more of the preceding claims, wherein at least one of the panels (10,40) is made of a polymer material.

12. Cooling container according to one or more of the preceding claims, wherein at least one of the panels (10,40) is made of a composite material.

13. Cooling container according to one or more of the preceding claims, wherein the connection is a corner connection (8,9) between a side panel (10) and a roof panel (40).

14. A method of assembling a cooling container, such as a refrigerated container of a truck or trailer, a railway container, an intermodal container or a shipping container, comprising panels to be joined, characterised in that at least one panel (10,40) is provided with an overmoulded region (11) comprising a layer of overmoulded material (14) at least partially covering a first side (100) and a second side (200) of the panel (10, 40).

15. The method of claim 14, wherein the overmolding material (14) flows through holes (13) in the panels (10,40) and is distributed on each side of the panels (10,40) during application.

16. The method according to claim 14 or 15, wherein the overmoulded zone (11) is provided with perforations or holes (13) before overmoulding the zone (11) with the overmoulded material (14).

17. Method according to one or more of claims 14, 15 or 16, wherein the inner side panel (10) and the roof panel (4) are joined to the corner profile (15) by gluing or plastic welding.

18. Method according to one or more of claims 14, 15 or 16, wherein one of the inner side panel (10) or box top panel (40) is bent to provide parallel and overlapping overmoulded zones (11) before or after providing the panels with a layer of overmoulded material (14), the inner side panel (10) then being joined with the box top panel (40) by gluing or plastic welding.

19. A method according to one or more of claims 14, 15 or 16, comprising bending one of the inner side panel (10) or the roof panel (40) providing parallel and overlapping overmoulded regions (11), and then joining the inner side panel (10) with the roof panel (40) by overmoulding.

20. An extruder head for applying a layer of fluid overmoulded material, the extruder head (18) comprising an inlet (20) for supplying an overmoulded mass (19) to the extruder head (18) and a chamber for applying overmoulded material (14) to an elongate member, characterised in that the extruder head (18) is provided with an outlet formed to receive a plate or panel (10,40) on which the layer of overmoulded mass (19) is applied, thereby forming a strip of overmoulded material (14) on the panel (10, 40).

21. Extruder head (18) according to claim 20, wherein the extruder head (18) is provided with one or more guides (21) for guiding the panel (10,40) during application of the strip of overmoulded material (14) on the panel.

22. Extruder head (18) according to claim 20 or 21, wherein the strip of overmould material (14) is applied around an edge (12) of the panel (10, 40).

23. Extruder head (18) according to claim 20 or 21, wherein the strip of overmoulded material (14) is applied on a first side (100) of the panel (10,40) through a hole (13) in the panel (10,40) and forms a strip of overmoulded material (14) on a second side (200) of the panel (10, 40).

24. An intermodal container, truck or wagon comprising a pair of side walls (5), a roof (4), end walls (3), a floor (2) and a door opening, the side walls (5) comprising wall panels (10) and the roof (4) comprising a roof panel (40), wherein the wall panels (10) and/or the roof panel (40) are joined together by a connection according to one or more of claims 1 to 13.

25. A method of assembling a container by using a method according to one or more of claims 14 to 19.
