Technical Field
The invention relates to a vehicle seat with a convenient entry mechanism.
Background
Vehicle seats with easy entry mechanisms are used, for example, to ensure comfortable passenger entry into the second row seats of a two-door vehicle or into the third row seats of a four-door vehicle. To this end, the vehicle seat can be moved between a use position and an easy entry position. Mechanisms are known in which the backrest part of the vehicle seat is folded forward towards the seat part, or in which the vehicle seat is displaced in the longitudinal direction by means of guide rails which also ensure a longitudinal adjustment of the vehicle seat in the use position. In the case of adjustment of a vehicle seat by means of an actuator (e.g. an electric motor), the movement of the vehicle seat between the use position and the easy entry position is generally slow, and after activation of the mechanism the passenger may have to wait until they can enter or exit the vehicle, or until they can sit in the use position. When the easy entry mechanism is to be designed such that the vehicle seat can easily assume its previously adjusted longitudinal position by returning into the use position, a complex storage device may be required.
DE 102015222133 a1 describes a vehicle seat with an easy entry mechanism, in which the backrest part and the seat part are supported separately on the seat base, which results in a complicated arrangement. In the case of this vehicle seat, height adjustment would probably not be possible.
DE 10020923 a1 describes a vehicle seat with an easy entry mechanism and a height adjustment mechanism. The swing arm is swingably fitted on the seat frame cross frame and the seat base. The height adjustment is performed by a complex arrangement with a large number of components.
Disclosure of Invention
The object is to provide an improved vehicle seat with an easy entry mechanism.
According to a first aspect, a vehicle seat, in particular for a motor vehicle, comprises a seat part having a seat frame. The seat frame may have a frame element. The passenger may sit on the seat portion. The vehicle seat further comprises a backrest part which is pivotably braced on the seat part, in particular pivotably supported by the seat frame. When a passenger sits on the seat part, he can rest his back on the backrest. Furthermore, the vehicle seat comprises a seat base which is designed to cradle the seat part. The seat base supports the back portion via the seat portion. Furthermore, the vehicle seat comprises an easy entry mechanism which is embodied for moving the seat part together with the backrest part relative to the seat base at least along the longitudinal axis between the use position and the easy entry position. In the use position, a passenger can sit on the vehicle seat. In the easy entry position, access to the seat row behind the vehicle seat can be facilitated, in particular, by at least partially freeing up the space occupied by the backrest part in the use position. The easy entry mechanism comprises an arm which is pivotably connected to the seat frame, in particular to a frame element of the seat frame, and at a first point is pivotably connected to the seat base. In addition, the easy entry mechanism further comprises a transfer hinge embodied for supporting the seat frame on the seat base in the second position. It is provided that the first location is spaced apart from the second location at least along the longitudinal axis. As an alternative to the arms and the transfer joint, the vehicle seat can also comprise at least one easy-entry connection which is pivotably mounted on the seat base and is pivotably connected to a height adjustment connection of the height adjustment connection, wherein the height adjustment connection connects the easy-entry connection to a cross member arranged between a frame element of the seat frame and a further frame element.
Such an improved vehicle seat can be designed more simply than known vehicle seats with easy entry mechanisms. Furthermore, such a vehicle seat allows for the provision of a height adjustment mechanism and/or a longitudinal adjustment mechanism that does not have a disturbing influence on the easy entry mechanism. In particular, the longitudinal adjustment mechanism of the vehicle seat is not positively adjusted by the easy entry mechanism. Thus, no storage device is required for storing the longitudinal position before shifting into the easy entry position. The complexity of the vehicle seat can thus be further reduced.
The transfer joint can be designed in particular such that the pivot axis of the transfer joint intersects the path of movement of the transfer joint, in particular at all points along the way. The intersections may extend orthogonally.
The easy entry mechanism may be manually operable, or it may include a motor for moving the vehicle seat from the use position into the easy entry position and vice versa. The motor may be self-locking or non-self-locking.
In one embodiment, the transfer hinge comprises a slotted bracket that is mounted on or forms part of the seat base. The slot of the slotted holder can be in engagement with the pin or bolt, so that the pin or bolt can be moved along the slot and can be rotated in the slot. The slot may define a path of movement.
In one embodiment, the transfer hinge comprises a C-shaped profile or a C-shaped profile guide. The C-shaped contour can be designed in such a way that a particularly large contact surface exists between the C-shaped contour and the slider supported in the C-shaped contour. Improved roughness and improved wear characteristics can thereby be achieved and reduced wear results. This enables a particularly long service life of the transfer hinge.
The transfer joint may comprise a slide or a roller which is mounted so as to be movable, in particular longitudinally movable, in the C-shaped contour.
In one embodiment, the arm is a forearm. The easy entry mechanism may further include a rear arm coupled with the seat frame via at least one hinge and coupling the seat frame with the seat base via at least one additional hinge via the rear arm.
Optionally, the easy entry mechanism further comprises an additional connecting arm. The additional connecting arm may couple the (front) arm with the rear arm.
In one embodiment, the C-shaped contour is fastened to the seat base and the rear arm is supported on the seat base by means of the C-shaped contour.
In one embodiment, the easy entry mechanism (optionally on each of the left and right sides, respectively) comprises seven pivot bearings, and thus (on each side) constitutes a 7-joint movement. This makes it possible to achieve a particularly space-saving folding forward of the vehicle seat.
In one embodiment, the vehicle seat further comprises a height adjustment mechanism which is designed to adjust the height of the seat frame relative to the seat base. The height adjustment mechanism may be coupled with the easy entry mechanism or it may be part of the easy entry mechanism. Height adjustment may improve the comfort of the vehicle seat and may improve safety because different sized occupants may adjust the seat for optimal visibility.
In one embodiment, a height adjustment connection of the height adjustment mechanism is provided and arranged such that the transfer hinge is connected to the frame element. The height adjustment connection links may support the frame elements of the seat frame on the transfer hinges. The height-adjustable connection can be easily built up to withstand high forces. The height adjustment link may be formed as a rocker arm. The rotary journal mounted on the height-adjusting connection element can be pivoted and movably fastened to the slotted support.
In one embodiment, the height adjustment connection is mounted on the seat base in a pivotable manner, in particular by means of a transfer joint. Rotation of the height adjustment link relative to the seat base causes height adjustment of the seat portion and the backrest portion together.
In one embodiment, the vehicle seat further comprises a rail assembly which is or can be mounted on the vehicle floor. The track assembly is implemented for adjusting the longitudinal position of the seat base and/or the seat portion and the backrest portion relative to the floor of the vehicle. The easy entry mechanism may move the vehicle seat between the use position and the easy entry position without adjusting the track assembly. The vehicle seat may comprise a motor for longitudinal adjustment of the vehicle seat. The easy entry mechanism can move the vehicle seat from the use position into the easy entry position and vice versa without activating such a longitudinal adjustment motor. The easy entry mechanism can move the vehicle seat from the use position into the easy entry position and vice versa particularly quickly, since it is not necessary to activate a longitudinal adjustment motor, which can be implemented, for example, for providing a precise but slow adjustment.
In one design, the seat base is mounted on the upper track of the track assembly, or it may comprise the upper track of the track assembly. The upper track may serve as a seat base. The track assembly may include an upper track and a lower track, the upper track movably in engagement with the lower track. The lower track may be mounted on the vehicle floor or can be mounted thereon.
In one design, the easy entry mechanism further includes a releasable locking link for limiting and releasing the sliding movement of the transfer hinge. In this way, the vehicle seat can be fixed in the use position.
In one embodiment, the locking element can be released by pivoting the backrest part relative to the seat part. In this way, the vehicle seat can be moved from the use position into the easy entry position in a particularly container-specific and intuitive manner.
In one design, the easy entry mechanism further includes a releasable latch lever for limiting and releasing the sliding movement of the transfer hinge. In this way, the seat can be fixed in the use position.
In one embodiment, the blocking lever can be released by pivoting the backrest part relative to the seat part. The vehicle seat can thereby be moved particularly easily from the use position into the easy entry position.
In one embodiment, the backrest adjuster pivotably connects the backrest part to the seat part. The angle of the backrest portion relative to the seat portion may be adjusted by a chair back adjuster.
In one embodiment, the transfer hinge is located closer to the seat back adjuster than the arm, in particular when viewed along the longitudinal axis. This may ensure a particularly efficient kinematics of the easy entry mechanism.
In one embodiment, the backrest part can be adjusted relative to the seat part by means of a backrest adjuster without the seat part moving relative to the seat base. Thus, the backrest portion angle and the seat portion longitudinal position can be separately adjusted without interfering with each other. This allows an intuitive and easy adjustment of the vehicle seat.
In one design, the back adjuster includes a first back adjuster portion secured to the seat portion frame and a second back adjuster portion secured to the back frame of the back portion such that the back portion is supported by and assembled to the seat portion. The first and second seat back adjuster portions may be rotatably assembled with respect to each other. The first and second seat back adjuster portions may be in engagement with each other. The first and second seat back adjuster portions may be seat back adjuster fittings.
In one design, the first seat back adjuster portion is mounted to a frame member of the seat frame. The frame element may be constructed as a single part, or it may comprise a plurality of parts fixed relative to each other. The frame element may in particular be a side element.
In one embodiment, the easy entry mechanism further comprises one or more springs, which are arranged such that the seat part is pretensioned in the direction of the easy entry position. In this way, the vehicle seat can be easily moved into the easy entry position by, for example, a releasable locking element or a releasable locking lever and by applying no or only a small force to the vehicle seat, so that after unlocking, the movement of the vehicle seat is caused or supported by the spring or springs. Alternatively or additionally thereto, the easy entry mechanism comprises a drive motor for driving the vehicle seat into the easy entry position.
In one embodiment, the seat frame comprises two frame elements which are laterally spaced apart from one another and are connected to one another, for example by means of a rod. The frame element may be a side element.
In one embodiment, the vehicle seat further comprises a second arm. The two arms are pivotably mounted on one of the frame elements at one end of the respective arm and on the seat base at the other end of the respective arm. The vehicle seat may further include a second transfer hinge implemented for supporting the seat frame on the seat base. Each transfer hinge may be arranged below one of the frame elements of the seat frame.
According to a second aspect, a vehicle seat is provided, wherein the vehicle seat comprises: a seat portion having a seat frame with a pair of frame elements; a seat base implemented for supporting a seat portion; a height adjustment mechanism implemented for adjusting a height of the seat frame relative to the seat base; an easy entry mechanism implemented for moving the seat portion relative to the seat base along the longitudinal axis between a use position and an easy entry position. The easy entry mechanism comprises two transfer hinges, wherein each transfer hinge is implemented for supporting the seat frame on the seat base. Each frame element is connected to its respective transfer hinge via a height adjustment connection of the height adjustment mechanism.
The height of the seat frame relative to the seat base can be adjusted by pivoting the height adjustment link or links relative to the seat base and/or the seat frame.
The easy entry mechanism may include two arms, wherein each arm is swingably connected to one of the frame members and to the seat base at a first location on the seat base. Each transfer hinge may support the seat frame at a second location on the seat base, wherein each first location is spaced from a respective second location along the longitudinal axis.
The improved vehicle seat according to the second aspect may of course be combined with the vehicle seat according to the first aspect. The features mentioned above in relation to the design of the vehicle seat according to the first aspect can therefore also be implemented in the design of the vehicle seat according to the second aspect and vice versa.
According to a third aspect, a vehicle seat, in particular for a motor vehicle, comprises a seat part having a seat frame with a pair of frame elements and a cross beam arranged between the pair of frame elements. The frame elements may be spaced apart from each other. The passenger may be seated on the seat. The vehicle seat also includes a seat base that is implemented to support the seat portion. The vehicle seat includes a height adjustment mechanism implemented for adjusting a height of the seat frame relative to the seat base. The height adjustment mechanism comprises at least one height adjustment connection link, for example in the form of a rocker arm. Furthermore, the vehicle seat comprises an easy entry mechanism which is embodied for moving the seat part (in particular together with the backrest part) relative to the seat base along the longitudinal axis between the use position and the easy entry position. In the use position, a passenger can sit on the vehicle seat. In the easy entry position, access to the seat row behind the vehicle seat can be facilitated in particular by freeing up the space occupied by the backrest part in the use position. The easy entry mechanism includes at least one easy entry link that is swingably assembled on the height adjustment link. The easy entry connection may be configured as a rocker arm. The height adjusting connecting link is used for conveniently entering the connecting link to be connected with the cross beam. The convenient entering connection link is connected with the beam through the height adjusting connection link.
Such an improved vehicle seat can be designed more simply than known vehicle seats with easy entry mechanisms. The kinematics of the height adjustment mechanism and the easy entry mechanism can be designed with a small number of components and are particularly robust. In contrast to the known vehicle seats, the longitudinal adjustment mechanism of the vehicle seat is also not necessarily adjusted when the easy entry mechanism is actuated. Thus, no storage device is required for storing the longitudinal position before shifting to the easy entry position. The complexity of the vehicle seat can thus be further reduced.
Wherein each frame element may be constructed as a unique part or it may comprise a plurality of parts fixed relative to each other. The frame element may in particular be a side element.
The height adjustment mechanism may be coupled with the easy entry mechanism or it may be part of the easy entry mechanism. The height adjustment may increase the comfort of the vehicle seat and may improve safety, as the seat may be adjusted for different sizes of passengers for optimal visibility.
The easy entry mechanism may be manually operable, or it may include a motor for moving the vehicle seat from the use position to the easy entry position and vice versa. The motor may be self-locking or non-self-locking.
In one embodiment, the height adjustment connection is mounted on the seat base in a rotatable manner, in particular by means of a pivot bearing. Rotation of the height adjustment link relative to the seat base may cause height adjustment of the seat portion.
In one embodiment, the height adjustment connection is fixedly mounted on the cross member. In an alternative embodiment, the height adjustment connection is mounted on the cross member so as to be rotatable.
In one embodiment, the cross member is pivotably mounted to each of a pair of frame members.
In one embodiment, the cross member is a bar or a tube or a bar or a stamped bracket, for example, in order to provide a strong and light profile.
In one embodiment, the vehicle seat further comprises a backrest part which is pivotably supported on the seat part. When a passenger sits on the seat, he can lean against the backrest. The seat base may support the back portion via the seat portion.
In one embodiment, the backrest adjuster pivotably connects the backrest part to the seat part. The angle of the backrest portion relative to the seat portion may be adjusted by means of a chair back adjuster.
In one embodiment, the backrest portion is adjustable relative to the seat portion by means of a backrest adjuster without moving the seat portion relative to the seat base. Thus, the angle of the backrest portion and the longitudinal position of the seat portion can be separately adjusted without interfering with each other. This allows an intuitive and easy adjustment of the vehicle seat.
In one design, a chair back adjuster comprises: a first seat back adjuster portion fixed to one of the frame members of the seat frame; and a second back adjuster portion fixed to a back frame of the back portion so that the back portion is supported by and fitted to the seat portion. The first and second seat back adjuster portions may be rotatably assembled with respect to each other. The first and second seat back adjuster portions may be in engagement with each other. The first and second back adjuster components may be back adjuster fittings.
In one embodiment, the vehicle seat further comprises one or two (rocker) arms, wherein each arm is pivotably mounted on the seat base and is pivotably connected to the frame element.
In one embodiment, the arm(s) is/are pivotably mounted on the seat base at a first location (or first locations), and the easy-entry connection link(s) is/are pivotably mounted on the seat base at a second location (or second locations). The first and second locations may be spaced apart from each other along the longitudinal axis, among other things.
In one embodiment, the vehicle seat comprises a backrest part which is pivotably supported on the seat part, wherein the backrest adjuster pivotably connects the backrest part to the seat part, and wherein the easy-entry connection links are closer to the backrest adjuster than the respective arms. The arm or arms may be a rocker arm and may be arranged in the region of the front of the seat frame.
In one design, the height adjustment mechanism includes a pair of height adjustment attachment links, and the easy entry mechanism includes a pair of easy entry attachment links. Each easy entry connection may be swingably mounted on one of a pair of height adjustment connections. This arrangement allows a robust and simple design structure of the vehicle seat.
In one embodiment, the vehicle seat further comprises a rail assembly which is or can be mounted on the vehicle floor and is designed to adjust the longitudinal position of the seat part and the backrest part relative to the vehicle floor. The easy entry mechanism may move the vehicle seat between the use position and the easy entry position without adjusting the track assembly. The vehicle seat may comprise a motor for longitudinal adjustment of the vehicle seat. The easy entry mechanism may move the vehicle seat from the use position into the easy entry position and vice versa without activating such a longitudinal adjustment motor. The track assembly may include a lower track, the upper track being movably in engagement with the lower track. The lower track may be mounted on the vehicle floor or may be mountable.
In one embodiment, the vehicle seat further comprises a locking mechanism for locking the easy entry mechanism in the use position when the vehicle seat is arranged in the forward (ganz vorne) position (or in the region of the forward position). Collisions of the vehicle seat with other parts of the vehicle can thereby be avoided.
In one embodiment, the easy entry mechanism further comprises a releasable locking link or a releasable locking lever for limiting and releasing the pivoting movement of the easy entry link relative to the seat base. In this way, the vehicle seat can be fixed in the use position.
In one embodiment, the locking element or locking lever is releasable by pivoting the backrest part relative to the seat part. In this way, it is particularly easy and intuitive to move the vehicle seat from the use position into the easy entry position. Alternatively or additionally, other release mechanisms can be provided. For example, the locking element or the locking lever can be released by means of a handle. The handle may not only release the at least one back adjuster for swinging the back, but may also release the locking link or locking lever, for example by providing two or more cables connected to the handle and to the one or more back adjusters and to the locking link or locking lever. In addition, the locking element or the blocking lever can alternatively or additionally be released by the seat part being displaced along the longitudinal axis, in particular by a predetermined path. In a further option, an actuator, in particular an electric actuator, is provided for releasing the locking element or the locking lever. The actuator can be operated by pressing a button.
In one embodiment, a bolt or a bow wire (Schliessbuegeldraht) is fitted on the easy-entry connection, and a locking element or a locking lever can be in engagement with the bolt or bow wire for locking the easy-entry connection on the seat base, in order to prevent the easy-entry connection from rotating relative to the seat base. This makes it possible to lock the easy entry mechanism in the position of use simply and safely. Alternatively, the releasable locking link or releasable catch lever is mounted on the easy-entry connection link and the bolt or bowden wire is mounted on the upper rail or seat base, in particular on a bracket at the rear of the seat base. According to a further alternative, the locking link or locking bar and the counterpart, such as a pin or a bow wire, are mounted on the upper rail or on the seat base, for example on both sides of the easy-entry connection link. The locking link or locking lever and counterpart can be placed in the scarf joint in order to fix the easy entry connection link and can be placed out of engagement in order to loosen the easy entry connection link.
In one embodiment, the easy entry mechanism further comprises one or more springs, which are arranged to bias the seat part in the direction of the easy entry position. In this way, the vehicle seat can be moved into the easy-entry position without problems by unlocking, for example, a releasable locking element or a releasable locking lever and by applying no or little force to the vehicle seat, so that after unlocking the movement of the vehicle seat is caused by the spring or springs. Alternatively or additionally thereto, the easy entry mechanism comprises a drive motor for driving the vehicle seat between the use position and the easy entry position.
According to a fourth aspect, a vehicle seat is provided, wherein the vehicle seat comprises: a seat portion having a seat frame with a frame element; a seat base for supporting the seat portion; and one or more first connecting links, wherein each first connecting link has a first end and a second end, wherein the first end is mounted on the seat frame element by means of a pivot bearing such that it can pivot relative to the frame element. The second end is not assembled to the seat frame. The second end may be referred to as the off-seat frame. Furthermore, the vehicle seat comprises an easy entry mechanism for moving the seat part (in particular together with the backrest part) relative to the seat base along the longitudinal axis between the use position and the easy entry position. The easy entry mechanism comprises one or more second connecting links, wherein each second connecting link is pivotably mounted on the second end of the first connecting link and pivotably mounted on the seat base by means of a pivot bearing.
The improved vehicle seat according to the fourth aspect may of course be combined with the vehicle seat according to the third aspect. Thus, the features mentioned above in relation to the embodiments of the vehicle seat according to the third aspect may also be implemented in the embodiments of the vehicle seat according to the fourth aspect, and vice versa.
In particular, the first connection link may be a height adjustment connection link of the vehicle seat according to the third aspect, and the second connection link may be an easy-entry connection link of the vehicle seat according to the third aspect.
