Background

The single-side welding process of the steel plate in the manufacturing process of large ships, pressure vessels and the like generally adopts the technology of additionally arranging an auxiliary liner so as to ensure the welding quality and avoid the defects of incomplete penetration and the like. At present, the gasket for the welding field has been developed and woven into a band-shaped flexible gasket by various heat-resistant material fibers, has the advantages of being resistant to collision, capable of flexibly deforming, good in pasting continuity, convenient to store and transport and the like, gradually replaces part of block-shaped gaskets, and is applied to the welding manufacturing field.

Flexible gaskets, like block gaskets, require the use of glued aluminum foil to adhere the gasket to the back slope of the steel sheet being welded. The flexible liner is already pasted with the aluminum foil with the adhesive when leaving the factory, and the aluminum foil with the adhesive cannot be heated at the later stage so as to avoid the failure of the adhesive. If the liner is stored or transported improperly, the welding quality can be influenced after moisture absorption, but the liner is pasted with the aluminum foil, the aluminum foil cannot be dried and heated before welding, and the liner can only be used after the original aluminum foil is removed and a new aluminum foil is pasted again.
