Background

A "lithium battery" is a type of battery using a nonaqueous electrolyte solution with lithium metal or a lithium alloy as a negative electrode material. Lithium metal batteries were first proposed and studied by gilbertn. lewis in 1912. In the 70 s of the 20 th century, m.s.whitetingham proposed and began to study lithium ion batteries. Because the chemical characteristics of lithium metal are very active, the requirements on the environment for processing, storing and using the lithium metal are very high. With the development of science and technology, lithium batteries have become the mainstream nowadays. The connection pole piece of the lithium battery is usually made of nickel material. The typical welding methods at present include single-phase alternating current welding, direct current welding capacitive energy storage type or inverter direct current type and direct current welding with positive and negative waves. When the common single-phase alternating current welding method is adopted, the surface of the pole piece is seriously oxidized and splashed more easily due to long electrifying time, and the welding quality is not high. When a simple direct current welding method is adopted, although surface oxidation cannot be caused due to short electrifying time, a welding polarity effect occurs, namely the sizes and the strengths of two welding spots are inconsistent, and the welding effect is influenced.

The existing welding robot cannot completely realize all-dimensional welding during welding, so that the positions of welding spots are inconsistent, the appearance of a product is influenced, and a welding head cannot adjust the welding position along with the change of the lithium battery model. Chinese patent (publication No. CN208067631U) discloses a lithium battery welding robot, which comprises a servo motor and a conveyor belt driven by a driving wheel and a driven wheel, wherein the servo motor is arranged between the left ends of the driving wheel and the driven wheel, the servo motor and the conveyor belt are horizontally arranged on the ground through a support, although the welding effect of the device is increased to a certain extent, in the actual welding process, the placing position of a lithium battery cannot be accurately ensured, so that the position of a butt joint needs to be adjusted, obviously, the device cannot adjust the corresponding position, and therefore, the improvement is needed to meet the requirement of all-directional welding.

Therefore, the invention provides an all-dimensional industrial welding robot for a lithium battery pack.
