Background

Sugarcane, (scientific name: Saccharum officinarum) belongs to the genus Saccharum officinarum, and is a perennial tall solid herbaceous plant. The root is strong and developed. The sugarcane is 3-5 meters high, is widely planted in tropical areas in south China such as Taiwan, Fujian, Guangdong, Hainan, Guangxi, Sichuan and Yunnan, is suitable for being planted in places with fertile soil, sufficient sunlight and large temperature difference in winter and summer, is a temperate and tropical crop, is a raw material for manufacturing cane sugar, and can be used for extracting ethanol as an energy substitute.

However, the existing sugarcane has complex process when extracting alcohol, the extracted alcohol contains impurities, is impure and long-time when fermenting.
