4. A tow crimper according to claim 2 or 3, characterised in that said wedge shaped adjustment block is a right angle triangular form wedge shaped adjustment block having an inclined wall surface connected to a steel side plate.

5. A ribbon crimper according to claim 1, wherein said sealing side plate is constructed of a ceramic material.

6. The ribbon crimper of claim 1, wherein said crimping wheel is constructed of a powdered metallurgical material.

Technical Field

The invention relates to the field of textile machinery, in particular to a tow crimping machine for crimping tows of polylactic acid, polyester filament yarns and the like.

Background

The existing crimping machine for chemical fiber and other tows has structural defects, particularly in a stuffing box (knife cabin) component and the like at a core part due to the structural reasons, and the tows are hardened due to large extrusion and are easy to clamp. Particularly, the reasonability problem of the design structure of the stuffing box makes related parts inconvenient to adjust, difficult to adjust and long in adjusting time, particularly, the curled side plates are not reasonable in sealing structure due to the particularity of dynamic and static sealing, so that the sealing is not reliable when a machine runs, the sealing effect is poor, the problems of broken filaments, filament leakage and the like occur, burrs are easily generated on the related structural parts, the service life is short, and meanwhile, the requirements on the technical quality of operation, use, maintenance and repair technicians and the like are overhigh, and the production efficiency is influenced. At present, the existing crimping machine has the phenomenon of yarn oscillation at a yarn bundle inlet, the tension of the yarn bundle is unstable, the diameter of a crimping wheel is large, the number of crimped yarns is low, the quality of a product is directly influenced, the hardness of the crimping wheel is low, the surface of the wheel is easy to wear, the crimping wheel is not suitable for high-speed production, and the production efficiency is low.

Disclosure of Invention

The invention aims to provide a tow crimping machine aiming at the defects of the prior art. The tow crimping machine is reasonable in structure, simple and convenient to adjust, high in adjusting precision, good in sealing effect, simple in maintenance, low in cost, low in technical reporting requirement, stable and reliable in operation and high in production efficiency.

The technical scheme includes that the blocking box comprises a pair of crimping wheels, corresponding crimping knives, sealing side plates arranged on two sides of the crimping wheels, steel side plates arranged on one corresponding sides of the sealing side plates, and a tensioning type adjusting device is arranged between the steel side plates and the sealing side plates.

The tensioning type adjusting device comprises wedge-shaped adjusting blocks and adjusting screws, the wedge-shaped adjusting blocks are arranged between the steel side plates and the sealing side plates respectively, and the adjusting screws are arranged between the wedge-shaped adjusting blocks and the steel side plates.

The adjusting device comprises a step surface arranged at one end corresponding to the steel side plate, a wedge-shaped adjusting block arranged between the step surface of the steel side plate and the corresponding sealing side plate, and an adjusting screw connected between the wedge-shaped adjusting block and the steel side plate.

The wedge-shaped adjusting block is a right-angled triangular wedge-shaped adjusting block of which the inclined wall surface is connected with the steel side plate.

The sealing side plate is made of ceramic material.

The crimping wheel is made of powder metallurgy materials.

The invention has the technical effects that: 1. the stuffing box has reasonable structural design, the upper curling cutter and the lower curling cutter are provided with guide grooves, the adjustment of the cutter bin is ensured by a machine tool machining center, the adjustment is convenient and reliable, and the time is short. 2. The novel superhard material is adopted by the curling wheel, the surface hardness of the wheel reaches more than HRC, the linear speed of the curling wheel is 5-6 times of that of the original machine type, and the production efficiency is high. 3. In order to further understand the technical solution of the present invention, the following embodiments are further illustrated with reference to the accompanying drawings.

As shown in fig. 1 to 4, the ribbon crimper comprises a stuffing box, which comprises a pair of crimping wheels 1 arranged up and down, two corresponding crimping knives 6 arranged up and down on the outlet side of the filament bundle of the pair of crimping wheels, an auxiliary knife 9 arranged on the inlet side of the filament bundle, a pressing plate 7 arranged on the lower part of the upper crimping knife, two left and right sealing side plates 2 made of ceramic material and respectively arranged on the two corresponding sides of the two crimping wheels, two steel side plates 3 respectively arranged on the two corresponding sides of the two left and right sealing side plates, a wedge-shaped adjusting block 5 and a corresponding adjusting screw 4 respectively arranged between the corresponding sealing side plates and the steel side plates, etc.

The side view of the wedge-shaped adjusting block is in a right-angle triangle form wedge shape or a right-angle side trapezoid shape. One end of each steel side plate close to the crimping knife is respectively provided with a step wall surface 8 which are opposite to each other. The wedge-shaped adjusting block is arranged on the step surface of the steel side plate, one inclined surface of the wall surface of the wedge-shaped adjusting block is in contact connection with the corresponding steel side plate, and the other opposite surface of the wedge-shaped adjusting block is in contact connection with the corresponding part of the ceramic sealing side plate. The adjusting screw 4 is a large and small head screw, the adjusting screw is in threaded connection with the wedge-shaped adjusting block through the small head end provided with threads, and the large head end of the adjusting screw is connected to the other opposite end of the steel side plate through the corresponding through hole of the steel side plate.

The tows are clamped and meshed by a pair of rotating crimping wheels and sent into the stuffing box, the pressure applying plate applies pressure to the tows by a cylinder connected with the pressure applying plate to provide certain resistance, and the tows are stably fed into the next working procedure through peeling of the edges of the upper crimping knife and the lower crimping knife and sealing of the sealing side plates.

The adjusting screw is rotated to adjust and change different positions of the wedge-shaped adjusting block in the conveying direction of the tows so as to change the tensioning degree of the adjusting block on the sealing side plate, further change the contact pressure of the sealing side plate and the corresponding wall surface of the crimping wheel and achieve the aim of balancing and adjusting and changing the corresponding sealing degree of the sealing side plate and the crimping wheel.

Because the ceramic is hard and wear-resistant, the times of stopping adjustment caused by frequent replacement of the side plate seal in use are fundamentally reduced, and the problem that the adjustment of the conventional knife compartment structure is time-consuming in production adjustment is thoroughly solved. The production efficiency is improved by a large height.

The upper curling knife and the lower curling knife are provided with guide grooves 8 on the wall surfaces opposite to each other, and are formed by precision machining so as to be matched with the corresponding parts of the machine base for guiding and positioning, thereby ensuring the parallelism, verticality and mutual position requirements between the matching parts.

Because polylactic acid fiber (PLA) is the most popular biodegradable environment-friendly material at present, the PLA is the best substitute for fibers such as polyester, cotton and polypropylene fiber cigarette tows.

The diameter of the crimping wheel is designed to be within a range of 63-100 mm, and the requirement of the product on the number of crimps is met. The crimping wheel is made of powder metallurgy (hard alloy) material.

The invention not only solves the quality problems of uneven curling of slub yarns, broken yarns and raw yarns of the tow products produced by users for a long time, but also solves the problem that the original stuffer box structure is not easy to produce and adjust, shortens the time of adjusting the knife compartment and greatly improves the production efficiency.
