Background

The connector is a functional element which enables a circuit or an optical channel to be connected, disconnected or converted under the action of an electric signal or an optical signal and mechanical force, is used for electric connection among devices, assemblies, equipment and systems, transmits current, keeps no energy loss change between the systems, is simply similar to a plug and a socket, and is widely applied to the fields of aviation, aerospace, military equipment, transportation, communication, computers, automobiles, industry, household appliances and the like.

In order to improve the reliability of the connection between the two, a positioning claw is usually provided on the plug, as shown in fig. 1: the jack catch is tightly abutted against two ends of the hole wall of the jack catch chamber by the self elasticity of the jack catch and cannot slide outwards, and the axial separating force generated when the contact element is plugged can be borne, so that the positioning state of the contact element is ensured, and the metal positioning claw and the plastic positioning claw are separated, but the metal positioning claw and the plastic positioning claw have the following defects:

1. common metal positioning claws:

(1) the clamping tongue of the positioning claw is formed by bending a single material into a certain angle at the wall thickness, and the state of the clamping tongue is that a plurality of points bear component force of a certain angle, so that the hidden danger of falling easily occurs due to uneven stress;

(2) the wall thickness of the positioning claw is thin, and the bearing force is small;

(3) in the dismounting process, the dismounting tool needs to apply axial force and circumferential force to the positioning claw at the same time, the clamping tongue is pressed on the positioning surface of the insulating plate or the plug pin and the jack, and the contact point is very easy to scratch an insulator or cause the clamping tongue to generate plastic deformation due to overlarge stress, so that the positioning claw is damaged, and the service life is influenced;

(4) the positioning claws are hung on the positioning steps of the mounting plate in multiple points, so that the contact body is axially positioned in the mounting plate, and the contact body is difficult to be positioned on a plane when being formed, and the coaxiality of the contact body on the mounting plate is poor.

2. Plastic positioning claws:

the large current contact pair generates heat, the plastic is heated by the characteristics of the plastic, and the plastic is softened and melted, so that the contact pair is separated, and safety accidents are caused.

Therefore, there is a need in the art for a positioning pawl with more uniform force distribution, improved coaxiality of the jack and the plug, and capable of preventing the connector from being scratched and melting due to heat.

Disclosure of Invention

In order to solve the defects in the prior art, the invention provides a positioning claw for a connector and an electric connector, and solves the technical problem that the connector is easy to scratch due to uneven stress of the positioning claw in the prior art.

On the other hand, the width of the opening 3 decreases from the claw 4 connection end to the collar 1 connection end. Thus, the width of the transition elastic sheet 2 at the connecting end of the lantern ring 1 is favorably improved, and the elasticity of the transition elastic sheet 2 to the clamping jaws 4 is favorably increased.

The number of the transition elastic pieces 2 is preferably multiple, and the specific number can be set by a person skilled in the art according to actual conditions, for example, six transition elastic pieces 2 are equally distributed along the collar 1.

The lantern ring 1, the transition elastic sheet 2 and the clamping jaw 4 are of an integrated structure, the integrated structure means that the positioning jaw is integrally processed through a section of tubular object (such as stamping, extrusion forming and the like) in the manufacturing process, and the lantern ring 1, the transition elastic sheet 2 and the clamping jaw 4 are not combined together in a welding mode. In order to fit the embodiment to the plug, the collar 1 of the embodiment is further provided with a notch 301, which is preferably opposite to the opening 31, so that the whole positioning pawl can be disconnected from the side part, and the collar can be easily broken off from the plug.

Referring to fig. 6: the embodiment also discloses an electrical connector: including the positioning claws for connectors described above in this embodiment.

The positioning claw is connected to the outer surface of the shaft, so that the length is short, the structure is small, and the overall structure of a product is reduced.
