Detailed Description

Embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings as appropriate. The same structural elements are denoted by the same reference numerals, and redundant description is omitted. In explaining the direction, the following description will be made based on the front, rear, left, and right seen from the driver. The meaning of "vehicle width direction" is the same as that of "left-right direction".

As shown in fig. 1 and 2, a vehicle air conditioner 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention is a device that blows air from an air conditioning unit down the feet of a rear seat. Fig. 2 is a cross-sectional view of the vehicle air conditioner 1 taken along line II-II of fig. 1. The vehicle air conditioner 1 includes a duct 10 and a floor carpet 20.

As shown in fig. 4, the duct 10 is disposed below the seat cushion 3 of the seat 2 of the vehicle. The duct 10 is connected to an air conditioning unit (not shown) and extends below the seat cushion 3. The duct 10 has a blast pipe 11 and a blast port part 12 connected to the rear end of the blast pipe 11.

As shown in fig. 3, the blower port portion 12 gradually widens in the vehicle width direction toward the rear. Fig. 3 is a cross-sectional view of the vehicle air conditioner 1 taken along line III-III of fig. 1. A wall portion 13 is formed at the middle portion of the rear portion of the air supply port portion 12, and air outlets 14 are formed at both sides of the wall portion 13. The air supply port portion 12 is configured to supply air in two flows toward both feet of an occupant seated in the rear seat. The height dimension of the air supply opening portion 12 is smaller than the thickness dimension of a general shoe. The air blowing opening portion 12 is arranged so as to be inclined rearward and upward so that the blowing direction of the air from the air outlet 14 is directed obliquely rearward and upward. At the rear end of the blower port portion 12, projecting strips 15a and 15b projecting upward and downward are formed. The beads 15a, 15b extend in the vehicle width direction.

The floor carpet 20 has a first floor carpet 21 located on the front side of the vehicle compartment and a second floor carpet 22 located on the rear side of the vehicle compartment. The first floor carpet 21 and the second floor carpet 22 are formed as separate members.

The first floor carpet 21 is configured to cover the underside of the front seat and the underfoot portion of the front seat. A portion of the first floor carpet 21 located below the seat cushion 3 of the front seat is provided above the floor (not shown) with a gap therebetween. The duct 10 is disposed between the first floor carpet 21 and the floor. A blowout part 23 is formed at the rear end of the first floor carpet 21, and the blowout part 23 is configured to face the rear seat with the open end of the air supply port part 12 facing the rear seat.

An upright wall portion 24 is formed at the rear end portion of the first floor carpet 21, and the blowout portion 23 is formed in the upright wall portion 24. The blowout part 23 has an opening 25 and a covering part 26. The opening 25 is a horizontally long opening formed in the standing wall 24, and has a width dimension and a height dimension that allow the air blowing port 12 at the rear end of the duct 10 to pass therethrough.

The cover 26 extends rearward from the upright wall 24 in a roof-covering shape. The height dimension of the covering portion 26 from the floor surface is smaller than the thickness dimension of a general shoe. The cover portion 26 has a roof portion 27 and side wall portions 28, 28 formed on both sides of the roof portion 27. The roof portion 27 covers the rear end portion of the blower port portion 12 from above. The side wall portions 28, 28 cover both ends of the blower port portion 12 in the vehicle width direction from the sides. The tip end of the cover portion 26 protrudes rearward from the rear end of the blower port portion 12. The protruding dimension of the cover portion 26 is set to a length that does not come into contact with the air flow of the air blown out from the air supply port portion 12. That is, the extension line of the upper wall of the blower port portion 12 constituting the air flow path does not intersect the cover portion 26. The lower surface (inner surface) of the cover portion 26 abuts against the upper protrusion 15a of the blower port portion 12.

The second floor carpet 22 is configured to cover the underside of the rear seat and the underfoot portion of the rear seat. The front end portion of the second floor carpet 22 protrudes forward from the rear end of the covering portion 26 of the first floor carpet 21. The front end projection 29 of the second floor carpet 22 extends to the lower side of the air supply opening portion 12. The upper surface of the distal end projection 29 abuts on the lower ridge 14b of the blower port portion 12.

Next, the operational effects of the vehicle air conditioner 1 having the above-described configuration will be described. According to the vehicle air conditioner 1 of the present invention, the rear end of the duct 10 (the blower port portion 12) is not exposed from the foot of the rear seat because the blower port portion 12 is covered with the cover portion 26. Therefore, the occupant seated in the rear seat does not directly kick or step on the duct 10, and therefore, breakage or positional displacement of the duct 10 can be prevented. Also, even if the occupant protrudes the foot, it is the covering portion 26 of the floor carpet 20 that is brought into contact with the foot, and therefore the tip of the shoe is not damaged or a strong force is applied to the fingertip of the foot. That is, the tip of the shoe and the fingertip of the foot of the passenger can be protected. Further, since the height dimension of the covering portion 26 from the floor surface is smaller than the height of a general shoe, the tip end of the shoe does not enter the opening portion 25 and kick out to the duct 10.

In the present embodiment, since the top portion of the blower port portion 12 is covered with the roof portion 27 of the covering portion 26 and the side portions are covered with the side wall portions 28 and 28, the conduit 10 can be prevented from being stepped on by a foot, and a space under the foot can be secured within a range where the conduit 10 is not stepped on. Since the protruding dimension of the cover 26 is set to a length that does not come into contact with the air flow of the air blown out from the air outlet portion 12, the flow of the air is not obstructed, and the conditioned air can be efficiently sent out toward the rear seat.

In the present embodiment, since the floor carpet 20 includes the first floor carpet 21 positioned in the front of the vehicle compartment and the second floor carpet 22 positioned in the rear of the vehicle compartment, the floor carpet is made to have appropriate sizes, and the floor carpet can be easily laid on the floor.

Further, since the lower side of the rear end portion (the air flow opening portion 12) of the duct 10 abuts on the front end projection 29 of the second floor carpet 22, the air flow opening portion 12 is placed on the front end projection 29, and the cover portion 26 of the first floor carpet 21 abuts on the air flow opening portion 12. Accordingly, the blower port portion 12 is sandwiched between the cover portion 26 and the distal end projection 29. Further, since the front end protrusion 29 of the second floor carpet 22 is also pressed by the air supply port portion 12, the front end protrusion 29 is sandwiched between the floor (not shown) and the duct 10. Therefore, the positional deviation of the second floor carpet 22 can be suppressed. In addition, since the second floor carpet 22 serves as a buffer member, the pipe 10 can be prevented from colliding with the floor.

Although the vehicle air conditioner 1 according to the present embodiment has been described in detail with reference to the drawings, the present invention is not limited thereto, and can be modified as appropriate within a range not departing from the gist of the present invention. For example, in the above-described embodiment, the upper portion of the rear end portion of the duct 10 is covered with the cover portion 26 extending in the vehicle width direction, but the present invention is not limited thereto. For example, the upper side of the rear end portion of the duct 10 may be covered by a plurality of covering members formed in a comb shape with intervals in the vehicle width direction.
