1. A vehicle control apparatus comprising:

a current gear selection unit that selects a current gear that is a gear of a vehicle in a current driving state of the vehicle, based on a driving resistance of the vehicle;

a travel section determination unit configured to determine a forward travel section that is ahead in a forward direction of the vehicle and has a road gradient different from a current travel section in which the vehicle is traveling; and

a shift control unit that controls shifting of the shift range so as to maintain the current shift range while suppressing a downshift from the current shift range to the target shift range when a driving force of the vehicle corresponding to the current shift range exceeds a traveling resistance of the vehicle in the forward traveling range while the vehicle is traveling in the current traveling range and the target shift range lower than the current shift range is newly selected by the current shift range selection unit, and when a stall amount of the vehicle when the vehicle is traveling in the current traveling range is equal to or less than a predetermined threshold value,

the shift control unit controls shifting of the shift range so as to downshift to the target shift range without inhibiting the downshift even when the state of the vehicle satisfies a predetermined condition while inhibiting the downshift.

2. The vehicle control apparatus according to claim 1,

the shift control unit calculates a rotation speed of the engine that is the lowest in the current shift position in the current travel range, and controls shifting of the shift position so as to downshift to the target shift position without inhibiting the downshift when the rotation speed is lower than a predetermined value.

3. The vehicle control apparatus according to claim 1 or 2,

further comprising a speed sensor for measuring the speed of said vehicle,

the shift control portion calculates a lowest speed of the vehicle in the current travel section based on the speed of the vehicle measured by the speed sensor and a stall amount of the vehicle in the current travel section, and controls shifting of the gear to the target gear without inhibiting the downshift if the lowest speed is lower than a retard speed that is higher than a lowest speed at which the vehicle can travel in the forward travel section, of the speeds of the vehicle corresponding to the current gear.

4. The vehicle control apparatus according to any one of claims 1 to 3,

the shift control unit controls shifting of the shift range to the target shift range so as to downshift without inhibiting the downshift when a deep depression switch that allows deep depression is in an on state.

5. The vehicle control apparatus according to any one of claims 1 to 3,

also comprises an opening degree detection part for detecting the opening degree of the accelerator,

the shift control unit controls shifting of the shift range so as to downshift to the target shift range without inhibiting the downshift when the opening detection unit detects that the deep tread switch that allows deep tread is in an on state.

6. The vehicle control apparatus according to any one of claims 1 to 5,

also comprises an opening degree detection part for detecting the opening degree of the accelerator,

when the vehicle is running in a constant speed running mode, the shift control unit controls the shift of the shift range so as to downshift to the target shift range without inhibiting the downshift when the opening degree of the accelerator detected by the opening degree detection unit is equal to or greater than a predetermined opening degree.

7. A vehicle control method for a vehicle having a control unit,

the method causes the control section to execute:

selecting a current shift position as a shift position of a vehicle in a current driving state of the vehicle according to a driving resistance of the vehicle;

determining a forward travel section that is ahead in a forward direction of the vehicle and has a road gradient different from a current travel section in which the vehicle is traveling; and

a step of controlling shifting of the shift range such that, when the vehicle is traveling in the current running section in the current shift range and the target shift range lower than the current shift range is newly selected by the current shift range selection unit, the vehicle can travel in the forward running section in the current shift range by a driving force of the vehicle corresponding to the current shift range exceeding a traveling resistance of the vehicle in the forward running section, and that, when a stall amount of the vehicle traveling in the current running section in the current shift range is equal to or less than a predetermined threshold value, downshift from the current shift range to the target shift range is suppressed and the current shift range is maintained,

in the step of controlling the shift, the shift of the gear is controlled so as to be down shifted to the target gear without inhibiting the downshift even when the state of the vehicle satisfies a predetermined condition while inhibiting the downshift.

Technical Field

The present disclosure relates to a vehicle control device and a vehicle control method.

Background

Conventionally, the shift position of a vehicle is controlled according to the state of the current travel road on which the vehicle is traveling. For example, when the current driving road on which the vehicle is driving is an uphill road, the shift is automatically shifted down to a gear lower than the current vehicle gear.

However, when the vehicle enters a flat section or a downhill section after a downshift is performed while the vehicle is traveling in an uphill section, the upshift is performed again, and the driver may feel annoyed. In order to solve such a problem, patent document 1 discloses a technique of suppressing a downshift based on a gradient situation in front of a vehicle when determining to downshift in an uphill section (for example, see patent document 1).

Disclosure of Invention

However, since the downshift is suppressed, the engine speed of the vehicle in the current travel section may be too low. In this case, there is a problem that the speed of the vehicle is difficult to recover.

The present disclosure has been made in view of these circumstances, and an object thereof is to provide a vehicle control device and a vehicle control method that enable a vehicle to travel in a state in which the speed of the vehicle can be quickly recovered.

A vehicle control device according to a first aspect of the present disclosure includes: a current gear selection section that selects a current gear as a gear of a vehicle in a current running state of the vehicle based on a running resistance of the vehicle; a travel section determination unit configured to determine a forward travel section that is ahead in a forward direction of the vehicle and has a road gradient different from a current travel section in which the vehicle is traveling; and a shift control portion that, when the current gear selection portion reselects a target gear that is lower than the current gear while the vehicle is traveling in the current travel section in the current gear, the vehicle is able to travel in the forward travel section in the current gear by the driving force of the vehicle corresponding to the current gear exceeding the travel resistance of the vehicle in the forward travel section, when the stall amount of the vehicle when running in the current running section in the current gear is equal to or less than a predetermined threshold value, the shift control section controls shifting of the gear so as to suppress a downshift from the current gear to the target gear and maintain the current gear, the shift control section, even in a state where the downshift is suppressed, the shift of the shift range is controlled so as to downshift to the target shift range without inhibiting the downshift even when the state of the vehicle satisfies a predetermined condition.

The shift control unit may calculate a rotation speed of the engine that is the lowest in the current shift position in the current travel section, and may control the shift of the shift position to downshift to the target shift position without inhibiting the downshift when the rotation speed is lower than a predetermined value.

The shift control unit may further include a speed sensor that measures a speed of the vehicle, and the shift control unit may calculate a lowest speed of the vehicle in the current travel section based on the speed of the vehicle measured by the speed sensor and a stall amount of the vehicle in the current travel section, and may control the shift of the shift range to the target shift range without inhibiting the downshift when the lowest speed is lower than a retard speed that is higher than a lowest speed at which the vehicle can travel in the forward travel section, of the speeds of the vehicle corresponding to the current shift range.

The shift control unit may control the shift of the shift range so as to downshift to the target shift range without inhibiting the downshift when a deep depression switch that allows deep depression is in an on state.

The shift control device may further include an opening degree detection unit that detects an opening degree of an accelerator, and the shift control unit may control the shift of the shift range so as to downshift to the target shift range without inhibiting the downshift when the opening degree detection unit detects that a deep step switch that allows deep step is in an on state.

The shift control device may further include an opening degree detection unit that detects an opening degree of an accelerator, and the shift control unit may control the shift of the shift range so as to downshift to the target shift range without inhibiting the downshift when the opening degree of the accelerator detected by the opening degree detection unit is equal to or greater than a predetermined opening degree when the vehicle is traveling in a constant speed traveling mode.

A vehicle control method according to a second aspect of the present disclosure is a vehicle control method for a vehicle including a control unit that causes the control unit to execute a step of selecting a current shift position that is a shift position of the vehicle in a current running state of the vehicle, based on a running resistance of the vehicle; determining a forward travel section ahead in a forward direction of the vehicle, the forward travel section having a road gradient different from a current travel section in which the vehicle is traveling; and in the case where the target gear lower than the current gear is newly selected by the current gear selecting section while the vehicle is traveling in the current travel section in the current gear, the vehicle is able to travel in the forward travel section in the current gear by the driving force of the vehicle corresponding to the current gear exceeding the travel resistance of the vehicle in the forward travel section, when the stall amount of the vehicle when running in the current running section in the current gear is equal to or less than a predetermined threshold value, a step of controlling shifting of the gear in such a manner that a downshift from the current gear to the target gear is suppressed and the current gear is maintained, in the step of controlling shifting, even when the vehicle state satisfies a predetermined condition while the downshift is suppressed, controlling shifting of the gear to the target gear in a manner of downshifting without inhibiting the downshift.

According to the present disclosure, an effect is achieved that the vehicle can be made to travel in a state where the speed of the vehicle can be quickly recovered.

The vehicle V selects a shift position of the vehicle V in its current running state (hereinafter, referred to as a current running state). In the case where the current running section is an uphill section as shown in fig. 1, the vehicle V sometimes selects a gear lower than the current gear based on the running resistance of the vehicle V. In this case, the vehicle V controls the gear shift in a downshift from the current gear to the selected gear.
