6. Cover according to claim 5, characterized in that the second flexible element (22) is a TPE soft rubber.

7. Cover according to claim 5, characterized in that the cylinder head (41) and the first subsection (11) and the accessory support and (42) the second subsection (12) are snap-fitted.

8. Cover according to claim 5, characterized in that the second subsection (13) of the cover is fixedly connected to the oil seal base (43) by means of bolts (3).

9. Cover according to any of claims 1-8, characterized in that the top end of the cover is provided with a baffle for shielding the top of the timing pulley chamber (5).

10. An automobile comprising a cover of a timing pulley compartment, characterized in that the cover of the timing pulley compartment is a cover of a timing pulley compartment as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 9.

Technical Field

The invention relates to the technical field of automobiles, in particular to an automobile and a cover cap of a timing belt wheel chamber of the automobile.

Background

The timing system is an important component of the engine and is mainly used for enabling all parts of the engine to orderly run according to designed valve timing phases and controlling the opening and closing of an intake valve and an exhaust valve of the engine. Timing belts are common components of timing systems and are used to connect portions of crankshaft timing pulleys and camshaft timing pulleys to operate with a set phase difference.

At present, the existing engine timing pulley chamber cover adopts a metal cover, although the metal cover has high strength, high temperature resistance and long service life, the metal cover has heavy weight and can not meet the requirement of light weight of an engine; one end of the existing engine timing pulley chamber cover is connected with a cylinder cover of the engine, the other end of the existing engine timing pulley chamber cover is connected with an accessory support of the engine, and the cylinder cover of the engine and the accessory support have different vibration frequencies, so that the engine timing pulley chamber cover is obvious in vibration and high in noise, and the NVH performance is influenced.

Therefore, it is an urgent technical problem to be solved by those skilled in the art how to provide a timing pulley chamber cover to improve NVH performance.

Disclosure of Invention

In view of the above, an object of the present invention is to provide a timing pulley chamber cover to improve NVH performance of an engine. Another object of the present invention is to provide an automobile having the timing pulley compartment cover.

In order to achieve the purpose, the invention provides the following technical scheme:

the cover comprises a first portion connected with a cylinder cover of an engine and a second portion connected with an accessory support of the engine, and the first portion and the second portion are flexibly connected through a high-temperature-resistant first flexible piece.

Preferably, in the cover cap, the first portion and the second portion of the cover cap are both made of PP, and the first flexible member is TPE soft rubber.

Preferably, in the above cover, the cover and the first flexible member are an integral injection molding structure.

Preferably, in the cover, the first flexible member is disposed at a position corresponding to a joint between a cylinder head of the engine and the accessory bracket.

Detailed Description

In view of the above, the core of the present invention is to provide a timing pulley chamber cover to reduce weight and improve NVH performance of an engine and an automobile. Another core of the present invention is to provide an automobile having the timing pulley chamber cover.

In order that those skilled in the art will better understand the disclosure, the invention will be described in further detail with reference to the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments.

As shown in fig. 1 to 3, the present invention discloses a cover for a timing pulley chamber, which is used for covering a timing pulley chamber 5, and specifically comprises a first portion and a second portion 12, wherein the first portion is connected with a cylinder head 41 of an engine 4, and the second portion 12 is connected with an accessory bracket 42 of the engine 4, and the present application focuses on flexibly connecting the first portion with the second portion 12 through a high temperature resistant first flexible member 21. When the engine works according to the arrangement mode, the vibration of the cylinder cover 41 and the vibration of the accessory support 42 are respectively transmitted to the first part and the second part 12 of the cover cap, and the vibration of the first part and the second part 12 can be absorbed under the action of the first flexible part 21, so that the cover cap vibration aggravated by different vibration on two sides is avoided, the problem of reducing the vibration of the cover cap is solved, and the NVH performance of the automobile is improved.

In a preferred embodiment, the first portion and the second portion 12 of the cover cap are made of PP, and PP has the advantages of high temperature resistance and strong toughness. First flexible piece 21 is the TPE soft rubber spare, and TPE is a thermoplastic elastomer material, has high strength and high resilience, can reduce engine vibration noise, improves engine NVH performance. In practice, other cover materials which need to be selected correspondingly can be adopted, and the high-temperature resistant injection molding material is required to be ensured.

In addition, adopt the shroud of PP and TPE material in this application to replace metal shroud, can reduce the weight of shroud, realize losing heavy purpose.

In a preferred embodiment, the cover cap and the first flexible member 21 are formed by injection molding, that is, the cover cap disclosed in this application is formed by injection molding PP and TPE. The integrally formed structure is stable in connection, high in connection strength and not easy to break; meanwhile, the hardness degrees of the two materials are different, and the shock absorption can be realized.

In a further embodiment, the arrangement position of the first flexible member 21 is arranged corresponding to the connection position of the cylinder head 41 and the accessory bracket 42 of the engine 4, that is, the direction and the position of the first flexible member 21 are along the direction and the position of the connection position of the cylinder head 41 and the accessory bracket 42. Therefore, the shape and position and size of the first flexible member 21 are not particularly limited. The compression amount of the TPE soft rubber can be set according to different requirements.

In a further embodiment, the first portion of the cover comprises a first subsection 11 and a second subsection 13, wherein the second subsection 13 is adapted to be connected to the oil seal base 43 of the engine 4, and the first subsection 11 is connected to the cylinder head 41 and to the second subsection 12 via the first flexible element 21. Specifically, the first subsection 11 and the second subsection 13 are flexibly connected by a second flexible member 22 that is resistant to high temperatures. The second flexible member 22 is disposed here to absorb the vibration of the cylinder head 41 and the oil seal base 43, so as to further reduce the vibration problem of the cover and improve the NVH performance.

In a specific embodiment, the second flexible member 22 is a TPE soft rubber member. The first flexible member 21, the second flexible member 22 and the cover are of an integral injection molded structure. Decoupling is carried out by using a TPE soft rubber flexible connection mode, so that resonance with the engine 4 is reduced, and the aim of improving the NVH performance of the engine is fulfilled.

The first section 11 of the cover disclosed in the present application is snap-fitted to the head 41 and the second section 12 is snap-fitted to the accessory holder 42. While one particular way of attaching the cover to the engine 4 is disclosed herein, other attachment means may be used and are within the scope of protection.

In particular, the second sub 13 of the cover is connected to the oil seal mount 43 of the engine 4 by means of bolts 3.

Compared with the traditional metal cover cap, the double-material injection molding process has the advantages of lower weight, low cost and better buffering and shock absorbing capacity, and the noise at the front end of the engine is reduced by about 0.8 dB. The timing belt wheel chamber 5 is provided with a cover, so that the timing system can be effectively protected from being damaged by flying stones, dust and the like. The cover top is provided with the baffle in this application, can prevent effectively that the engine top from watering and getting into the room in right time, leads to the infiltration to freeze and causes the tooth of jumping, unable start scheduling problem. The cover cap is simple in structure, convenient to disassemble and assemble and beneficial to maintenance of a timing system.

In addition, the application also discloses an automobile which comprises a cover of the timing pulley chamber, wherein the cover of the timing pulley chamber 5 is the cover of the timing pulley chamber 5 disclosed in the embodiments, so that the automobile with the cover of the timing pulley chamber also has all the technical effects, and the details are not repeated herein.
