Background

As is well known, impurities and oxygen in steel have great harm to castings, and non-metallic inclusions are easily generated in the castings, so that the continuity of the casting matrix is damaged, and the mechanical properties of the castings, such as strength, toughness and the like, are influenced. The combination of oxygen and carbon/nitrogen in steel is easy to form bubbles in the casting, so that the casting has the defects of air holes and the like, and even the casting is scrapped. The materials required for the deoxygenation process are typically: ferrosilicon, ferromanganese, calcium silicon, aluminum wire and the like, and the materials required by the slagging process are usually: calcium oxide, silicon dioxide, aluminum oxide and the like are added in a smelting process, the operation is troublesome, some steel types have requirements on the adding sequence of the deoxidizing and slagging materials, otherwise, the deoxidizing effect is influenced, so that the smelting operation skill has higher requirements, if a material which can deoxidize and slagging is available, the deoxidizing and slagging process can be simplified, the labor intensity is reduced, and the problems encountered in the current smelting are solved.

Advantageous effects

The silicon dioxide and the sodium oxide in the deoxidizing slagging material can directly form low-melting-point silicate at the initial stage of adding, quickly cover the whole surfaces of the slag and the molten steel, isolate air, reduce oxygen and water in the air from entering the slag and the molten steel to participate in reaction, improve the full reaction of deoxidizing components in the deoxidizing slagging material and oxygen in the steel, and improve the deoxidizing effect.

According to the invention, the porous particles are prepared from the aluminum powder and the calcium oxide, so that the contact area can be increased, and the reaction speed of the aluminum powder is slowed down under the wrapping of the calcium oxide, so that the deoxidation effect is better.

The deoxidizing and slagging material provided by the invention is added with fluoride and boride, so that the deoxidizing effect is good, the slagging speed is high, and the slag is easy to clean.

The silicon dioxide in the deoxidizing and slagging material can also be combined with the metal oxide in the slag to synthesize the low-melting-point silicate, the time required by the oxygen ions in the molten steel to diffuse into the slag is shortened, the steelmaking efficiency is improved, and the cost is saved.

Examples

The deoxidation slagging material specifically comprises the following steps:

step 1, fully mixing and uniformly stirring 30Kg of calcium oxide and 30Kg of water to prepare calcium oxide slurry;

step 2, adding 30Kg of aluminum powder into the calcium oxide slurry prepared in the step 1, fully mixing and stirring uniformly, cooling, and keeping the temperature in a resistance furnace at 500 ℃ for 4 hours, drying and crushing to form porous particles;

and 3, processing 7.5Kg of boron carbide, 5Kg of calcium fluoride and 25Kg of silicon dioxide into granules, and fully mixing the granules with the porous granules prepared in the step 2 and 2.5Kg of sodium oxide.
