1. A connector having a circuit interrupting mechanism, comprising:

a housing;

the first conductor assembly comprises a first base, a wire pressing frame arranged in the first base and a first conductor arranged in the wire pressing frame, and the first base is fixedly connected with the shell;

a second conductor assembly comprising a second base and a second conductor mounted on the second base, the second base being slidably connected to the housing;

a disconnect mechanism mounted within the first conductor assembly for placing the first conductor and the second conductor in a connected state or a disconnected state.

2. The connector with circuit interrupting mechanism of claim 1 wherein the first conductor assembly further includes a crimping pad mounted on a crimping screw threadedly connected to the crimping frame, the crimping pad cooperating with the first conductor to form a clamping mechanism for clamping the wire.

3. The connector with circuit interrupting mechanism of claim 2 wherein said first conductor has a plurality of grooves or protrusions on a side facing said crimp pad.

4. The connector with disconnect mechanism of claim 1, wherein the second conductor assembly further comprises a second spring, one end of the second spring being connected to the second base, the other end of the second spring abutting the first base.

5. The connector with disconnect mechanism of claim 1, wherein the second conductor assembly further comprises a first pushrod, one end of the first pushrod being coupled to the second base.

6. The connector with circuit interrupting mechanism of claim 1 wherein said second housing defines a first card slot.

The connector with the circuit breaking mechanism according to claim 6, wherein the circuit breaking mechanism comprises two first bases, a heat-sensitive metal sheet, a hanging shaft, a first spring, a hook, a torsion spring and a pin shaft, the hook is mounted on one of the first bases through the torsion spring and the pin shaft, one end of the hook is lapped on the hanging shaft, and the other end of the hook is clamped with the first clamping groove; one end of the hanging shaft abuts against one side of the heat-sensitive metal sheet through a second push rod, the other side of the heat-sensitive metal sheet abuts against the wire pressing frame in one of the first bases, and the other end of the hanging shaft abuts against the other first base through the first spring.

The connector with a disconnecting mechanism according to claim 7, wherein the heat-sensitive metal piece has a conical shape, the second push rod abuts against a concave surface of the conical heat-sensitive metal piece, and a convex surface of the conical heat-sensitive metal piece abuts against a surface of the wire pressing frame.

9. The connector with a disconnect mechanism of claim 7, wherein the hook has an oval head at an end that engages the first card slot, the oval head of the hook remaining in the first card slot after the hook is disconnected from the first card slot.

10. A method for using the connector with circuit breaking mechanism as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 9, comprising:

in a normal use state, the circuit breaking mechanism is in a closed state, the first conductor and the second conductor are in a connected state, and the circuit is conducted;

when the internal temperature of the connector is abnormally increased and reaches the action temperature of the circuit breaking mechanism, the circuit breaking mechanism acts to break the second conductor and the first conductor and keep the first conductor and the second conductor in a disconnected state;

when the internal temperature of the connector is reduced to the set temperature, the second conductor assembly is pushed to move towards the first conductor assembly, so that the second conductor is connected with the first conductor again, and meanwhile, the circuit breaking mechanism is reset, and the circuit is conducted again.

Technical Field

The invention belongs to the technical field of electric connectors, and particularly relates to a connector with a circuit breaking mechanism and a using method thereof.

Background

In communication equipment or electronic and electrical equipment, a connector plays a role of a bridge for connecting inside and outside, the connector is often required to be connected in a plugging and unplugging mode, and most connectors on site are of manual plugging and unplugging structures. The problem that the circuit is burnt due to the fact that the connection position is burnt and cannot be found in time exists.

Disclosure of Invention

In order to solve the defects in the prior art, the invention provides a connector with a circuit breaking mechanism and a using method thereof, which can automatically break the circuit connection after the temperature in the connector rises to a set temperature, avoid burning the connector due to the temperature rise and protect the circuit safety.

In order to achieve the purpose, the technical scheme adopted by the invention is as follows:

in a first aspect, a connector with a disconnect mechanism is provided, comprising: a housing; the first conductor assembly comprises a first base, a wire pressing frame arranged in the first base and a first conductor arranged in the wire pressing frame, and the first base is fixedly connected with the shell; a second conductor assembly comprising a second base and a second conductor mounted on the second base, the second base being slidably connected to the housing; a disconnect mechanism mounted within the first conductor assembly for placing the first conductor and the second conductor in a connected state or a disconnected state.

Furthermore, the first conductor assembly further comprises a line pressing gasket, the line pressing gasket is installed on a line pressing screw, the line pressing screw is in threaded connection with the line pressing frame, and the line pressing gasket is matched with the first conductor to form a clamping mechanism for clamping a wire.

Compared with the prior art, the invention has the following beneficial effects:

(1) according to the invention, the circuit breaking mechanism is arranged in the connector, so that the circuit connection can be automatically broken after the temperature in the connector changes to the set temperature, the connector is prevented from being burnt out due to temperature change, and the circuit safety is protected;

(2) the circuit breaking mechanism cannot automatically reset after being disconnected, and must be manually reset after fault removal, so that the safety of the connector is improved, and the problem of failure of the circuit breaking mechanism caused by misoperation is avoided.

Detailed Description

The invention is further described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. The following examples are only for illustrating the technical solutions of the present invention more clearly, and the protection scope of the present invention is not limited thereby.

The first embodiment is as follows:

as shown in fig. 1 to 10, a connector with a disconnection mechanism includes: a housing 10; the first conductor assembly 20 comprises a first base 21, a wire pressing frame 22 installed in the first base 21 and a first conductor 23 installed in the wire pressing frame 22, wherein the first base 21 is fixedly connected with the shell 10; a second conductor assembly 30 including a second base 31 and a second conductor 32 mounted on the second base 31, the second base 31 being slidably coupled to the housing 10; a disconnect mechanism 40 is mounted within the first conductor assembly 20 for placing the first and second conductors in a connected or disconnected state. The state of the temperature-sensitive element is changed through the change of the temperature inside the connector in the connection state, so that the circuit inside the connector is changed from the connection state to the disconnection state. And in the disconnected state, the circuit is maintained in the connected state again by pushing the sliding mechanism.

The first conductor assembly and the second conductor assembly are used for connecting the whole circuit, when the temperature of the circuit is higher than a set value, the first conductor assembly and the second conductor assembly are separated through the action of the circuit breaking mechanism, so that the circuit is changed from a connection state to a disconnection state, and when the temperature is higher than the set value, the circuit cannot be recovered to the connection state due to the setting of the circuit breaking mechanism; when the circuit is in a disconnected state and the temperature is lower than a set value, the second conductor assembly is pushed to move towards the first conductor assembly, so that the second conductor is connected with the first conductor again, the circuit breaking mechanism is reset, and the circuit is conducted again.

In the embodiment, the breaking mode and the resetting mode of the circuit breaking mechanism are formed by elastic or non-elastic parts; the circuit breaking mechanism has a reset circuit connection feature; the circuit breaking mechanism is one or more paths, and circuit separation is realized through temperature; the temperature threshold value of the protection circuit is set, and the circuit cannot be connected when the temperature threshold value is higher than a set value.

As shown in fig. 2, 5, 8-10, the first conductor assembly includes two first bases 21, the two first bases 21 are positioned and installed by a positioning pin 211, a wire pressing frame 22 is installed in each first base 21, a first conductor 23 is installed in each wire pressing frame 22, a wire pressing gasket 24 is installed on a wire pressing screw 25, the wire pressing screw 25 is in threaded connection with the wire pressing frame 22, and the wire pressing gasket 24 is matched with the first conductor 23 to form a clamping mechanism for clamping a wire; one surface of the first conductor 23 facing the line pressing gasket 24 is provided with a plurality of grooves or bulges which play a role of skid resistance and ensure that the lead is clamped between the line pressing gasket 24 and the first conductor 23; when the wire pressing device is used, the wire pressing screw 25 is screwed, the wire pressing gasket 24 moves towards the first conductor 23 to clamp a wire, the wire pressing screw 25 is screwed reversely, and the wire pressing gasket 24 moves towards the reverse direction of the first conductor 23 to loosen the wire. A transparent cover plate 26 is installed on one side surface of the wire pressing frame 22, so that the internal wiring condition can be conveniently observed, and the operation condition of a circuit can be conveniently known. In this embodiment, the first base 21 is a plastic base, and has a wire inlet hole, a frame body feature matched with the wire pressing frame 22, and a cavity feature matched with the circuit breaking mechanism, the first conductor 23 has an insertion piece structure mutually inserted with the second conductor assembly, a round hole chamfering structure is arranged on the wire pressing gasket 24, the wire pressing screw 25 has a nut, a thread, a polish rod and a riveting round hole, and the wire pressing frame 22 is composed of a thread, peripheral wire inlet holes, a side face and a square frame matched with the transparent cover plate 26.

As shown in fig. 2 to 4 and 7, the second conductor assembly 30 includes a second base 31, a second conductor 32 mounted on the second base 31, and a second spring 33, one end of the second spring 33 is connected to the second base 31, and the other end of the second spring 33 abuts against the first base 21; the second conductor assembly 30 further includes a first push rod 34, one end of the first push rod 34 is connected with the second base 31; the second base 31 is provided with a first card slot 35.

As shown in fig. 2 to 6, the circuit breaking mechanism 40 includes two first bases 21, a heat-sensitive metal sheet 41, a hanging shaft 42, a first spring 43, a hook 44, a torsion spring 45 and a pin 46, the hook 44 is installed on one of the first bases 21 through the torsion spring 45 and the pin 46, one end of the hook 44 is lapped on the hanging shaft 42, and the other end of the hook 44 is clamped with the first clamping groove 35; the torsion spring 45 is provided with two right-angle hooks which are hooked on the hook 44 and the first base 21, so that the hook 44 can be conveniently reset. The hook 44 is provided with a mounting hole of the pin shaft 46, the head part of the hook is provided with a hook feature, the second conductor assembly 30 is mutually hooked (clamped), one end of the hanging shaft 42 is abutted to one side of the heat-sensitive metal sheet 41 through the second push rod 421, the diameter of the second push rod 421 is smaller than that of the hanging shaft 42, the other side of the heat-sensitive metal sheet 41 is abutted to the wire pressing frame 22 in one of the first bases 21, and the other end of the hanging shaft 42 is abutted to the other first base 21 through the first spring 43. The heat-sensitive metal sheet 41 is conical, the second push rod 421 abuts against the concave surface of the conical heat-sensitive metal sheet 41, and the convex surface of the conical heat-sensitive metal sheet 41 abuts against the surface of the wire frame 22. The hook 44 has an oval head 441 at one end that is engaged with the first engaging groove 35, and when the hook 44 is disconnected from the first engaging groove 35, the oval head of the hook 44 is still located in the first engaging groove 35. The oblong structure extending from the head of the hook 44 can make the head of the ellipse always keep in the first slot 35 of the second base 31 after the hook 44 is disengaged. The tail of the hook 44 is provided with a double-layer bend for being conveniently lapped on the hanging shaft 42. The hanging scroll 42 is overlapped and matched with the hook 44 by a small scroll feature (namely, a second push rod 421, the second push rod 421 is coaxially connected with the hanging scroll 42), and a large scroll feature (namely, the hanging scroll 42) is matched with the first base 21 and the first spring 43.

The second spring 33 is a normal standard spring having one end connected to the second base 31 and the other end abutting against the first base 21, and is in a compressed state in a normal state. When the temperature of the circuit rises to a set temperature, the conical heat-sensitive metal sheet 41 is heated to expand, the second push rod 421 and the hanging shaft 42 are pushed, the first spring 43 is compressed, one end of the hook 44, which is lapped on the hanging shaft 42, slides off the hanging shaft 42 and is lapped on the second push rod 421, meanwhile, the other end of the hook 44 tilts, so that the hook 44 and the second base 31 are disconnected from a clamping state, and after the hook 44 is disconnected, the second conductor assembly 30 is integrally pushed away from the first conductor assembly 20 under the action of the second spring 33, so that the first conductor 23 and the second conductor 32 are separated, and the circuit breaking action of the circuit is realized (at this time, the long elliptic head part of the hook 44 still extends into the first clamping groove 35 of the second base 31); when the circuit temperature is reduced to the set temperature, the heat-sensitive metal sheet 41 is reset, at this time, because the diameter of the hanging shaft 42 is larger than that of the second push rod 421, under the action of the torsion spring 45 and the first spring 43, the hook 44 abuts against the side surface of the hanging shaft 42, and the original state cannot be recovered; when the original normal state needs to be restored and the circuit is connected again, the second base 31 is pushed by the first push rod 34 to move towards the direction of the first conductor assembly 20, the second conductor assembly 30 is pushed to the first conductor assembly 20 as a whole, the hook 44 is inserted into the first clamping groove 35 and clamped with the second base 31 again, the other end of the hook 44 is lapped on the hanging shaft 42 again, the circuit breaking mechanism 40 is reset, the first conductor 23 and the second conductor 32 are reconnected, and the circuit is conducted again.

The second conductor 32 is a conductor with a sliding clip structure at both ends, and can always slide on the conductor, so that the insertion resistance is reduced, and the second conductor 32 always keeps connected with the second base 31. The second base 31 is an insulating base, the second conductor 32 is fixed on the insulating base so that the second conductor 32 is always opposite to the insulating base, and the second base 31 has a feature of being connected to the second spring 33 so that one end of the second spring 33 is always connected to the second base 31. The second base 31 has a long post feature (i.e., the first push rod 34), and after the circuit is broken, the second conductor assembly 30 can be reset by using a tool or manually pressing the long post feature, so that the feature on the second base 31 in the second conductor assembly 30 is continuously hung on the hook 44, and the reset connection of the circuit is restored, and the circuit is connected smoothly.

As shown in fig. 5 and 6, in the present embodiment, the disconnecting mechanism 40 is installed by means of two adjacent first bases 21, one of the first bases 21 is provided with a first guide slot 27 for providing a guiding function, and the hanging shaft 42 is slidably connected with the first guide slot 27; the hanging shaft 42 is provided with a second guide groove 422 for accommodating the first spring 43 and guiding the first spring 43; on the other first base, there is a mounting plate 28 for pressing the edge of the heat-sensitive metal sheet 41 on the surface of the wire-pressing frame 22, the surface of the wire-pressing frame 22 is provided with a groove matching with the convex surface of the heat-sensitive metal sheet 41, and the mounting plate 28 is provided with a third guide groove for the second push rod 421 to pass through and freely slide.

In this embodiment, the thermosensitive metal sheet 41 is made of BH-3, and such thermosensitive metal sheet is widely used in temperature-controlled switch protector products, and the operating temperature thereof can be specifically customized according to the use scenario.

In the embodiment, the circuit breaking mechanism is arranged in the connector, so that the circuit connection can be automatically broken after the temperature in the connector rises to the set temperature, the connector is prevented from being burnt out due to the rise of the temperature, and the safety of the circuit is protected; after the circuit breaking mechanism is disconnected, the circuit breaking mechanism cannot automatically reset, and must be manually reset after fault removal, so that the safety of the connector is improved, and the problem of failure of the circuit breaking mechanism caused by misoperation is avoided.
