1. The utility model provides a cylinder cap top surface oil return structure of engine, the engine includes cylinder head, cylinder block and oil pan, its characterized in that, cylinder cap top surface oil return structure includes:

a push rod hole provided on the cylinder head;

the push rod chamber is arranged at the upper part of the cylinder body and is positioned below the push rod hole, and the push rod chamber is communicated with the push rod hole;

a tappet hole provided at a middle upper portion of the cylinder block and located below the push rod chamber; and

the camshaft cavity is arranged in the middle of the cylinder body and is positioned below the tappet hole, and the tappet hole is communicated with the camshaft cavity;

and lubricating oil on the top surface of the cylinder cover can flow back through the push rod chamber, the push rod hole, the tappet hole and the camshaft cavity to form an oil return passage of the engine.

The cylinder head top surface oil return structure of the engine according to claim 1, wherein the pushrod chamber and the pushrod hole are for accommodating a pushrod; the tappet hole is used for installing a tappet, and the push rod is coaxially connected with the tappet; the camshaft cavity is used for installing a camshaft; the central axes of the push rod and the tappet are vertically intersected with the central axis of the camshaft.

The engine cylinder head top surface oil return structure of claim 2, characterized in that a gap exists between the push rod and the push rod chamber and the push rod hole, a gap exists between the camshaft cavity and the camshaft, and the gap between the push rod and the push rod chamber and the push rod hole and the gap between the camshaft cavity and the camshaft are communicated with each other and form the oil return passage.

The cylinder head top surface oil return structure of the engine according to claim 1, further comprising a balance hole provided in the cylinder block and located below the camshaft cavity, an upper portion of the balance hole communicating with the camshaft cavity and a lower portion communicating with a crankcase, the crankcase communicating with the oil pan.

5. The head top oil returning structure of the engine according to claim 4, wherein the lubricating oil at the head top surface of the cylinder head is able to flow back to the oil pan through the oil return passage, the balance hole, and the crankcase.

6. The engine cylinder head top surface oil return structure of claim 1, wherein the pushrod chamber, the pushrod hole, the tappet hole, and the camshaft cavity are all disposed on one side of a cylinder bore of the engine.

Technical Field

The invention relates to the field of engines, in particular to an oil return structure on the top surface of a cylinder cover of an engine.

Background

The prior art is specially provided with an oil return cavity at the front end of an engine cylinder body, the middle of the engine cylinder body is also provided with the oil return cavity, and the rear end of the engine cylinder body returns oil by depending on a gear chamber. In the prior art, because a plurality of oil return cavities are arranged on a cylinder body, the sand core of the cylinder body is too much, and the manufacturing and processing costs of the cylinder body and a cylinder cover are high due to the complex casting.

Disclosure of Invention

The invention aims to provide an oil return structure for the top surface of a cylinder cover of an engine, which can utilize a push rod chamber, a push rod hole, a tappet hole, a camshaft cavity, a balance hole and a crankcase of the engine to return lubricating oil on the top surface of a cylinder body to an oil sump.

In order to achieve the purpose, the invention provides a cylinder cover top surface oil return structure of an engine, wherein the engine comprises a cylinder cover, a cylinder body and an oil pan, and the cylinder cover top surface oil return structure comprises a push rod chamber, a push rod hole, a tappet hole and a camshaft cavity; the push rod hole is arranged on the cylinder cover; the push rod chamber is arranged at the upper part of the cylinder body and is positioned below the push rod hole, and the push rod chamber is communicated with the push rod hole; the tappet hole is arranged at the middle upper part of the cylinder body and is positioned below the push rod chamber; the camshaft cavity is arranged in the middle of the cylinder body and is positioned below the tappet hole, and the tappet hole is communicated with the camshaft cavity; the lubricating oil on the top surface of the cylinder cover can flow back through the push rod chamber, the push rod hole, the tappet hole and the cam shaft cavity to form one oil return passage of the engine.

In a preferred embodiment, the pushrod chamber and pushrod bore are configured to receive a pushrod; the tappet hole is used for installing a tappet, and the push rod is coaxially connected with the tappet; the camshaft cavity is used for installing a camshaft; wherein the central axes of the push rod and the tappet are vertically crossed with the central axis of the camshaft.

In a preferred embodiment, a gap exists between the push rod and the push rod chamber and the push rod hole, a gap exists between the camshaft cavity and the camshaft, and the gap between the push rod and the push rod chamber and the push rod hole and the gap between the camshaft cavity and the camshaft are communicated with each other to form an oil return passage.

In a preferred embodiment, the oil return structure on the top surface of the cylinder head of the engine further comprises a balance hole which is arranged on the cylinder block and is located below the camshaft cavity, the upper part of the balance hole is communicated with the camshaft cavity, the lower part of the balance hole is communicated with the crankcase, and the crankcase is communicated with the oil pan.

In a preferred embodiment, the lubricating oil on the top surface of the cylinder head can be returned to the oil pan through the oil return passage, the balance hole, and the crankcase.

In a preferred embodiment, the pushrod chamber, the pushrod bore, the tappet bore, and the camshaft cavity are disposed on one side of a cylinder bore of the engine.

Compared with the prior art, the oil return structure for the top surface of the cylinder cover of the engine has the following beneficial effects: in the engine cylinder cover part, oil returns to the cylinder block by using a push rod hole of the structure of the cylinder cover, then returns to a camshaft cavity of the cylinder block by using a push rod chamber and a tappet hole of the cylinder block, and then returns to an oil pan through a balance hole between the camshaft cavity and a crankcase. The whole oil return process is realized by the aid of the existing structural characteristics of the engine, and by reasonably designing the push rod hole, the gap between the push rod chamber and the push rod, the gap between the tappet hole and the tappet, the gap between the camshaft cavity and the camshaft and the connecting action of the balance hole, natural backflow of lubricating oil is realized on the basis of not specially arranging an oil return cavity and ensuring the work and lubrication of the push rod, the tappet and the camshaft, so that the quantity of cylinder body sand cores and cylinder cover sand cores is simplified, and the casting cost of the whole engine is reduced.

The following detailed description of the present invention is provided in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, but it should be understood that the scope of the present invention is not limited to the specific embodiments.

Throughout the specification and claims, unless explicitly stated otherwise, the word "comprise", or variations such as "comprises" or "comprising", will be understood to imply the inclusion of a stated element or component but not the exclusion of any other element or component.

As shown in fig. 1 to 3, according to a cylinder head top surface oil return structure of an engine according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the engine includes a cylinder head 10, a cylinder block 30, and an oil pan 40, and a cylinder head gasket 20 is disposed between the cylinder head 10 and the cylinder block 30. The oil return structure on the top surface of the cylinder cover mainly comprises a push rod hole 101, a push rod chamber 301, a tappet hole 302, a cam shaft cavity 303 and the like. In which a push rod hole 101 is provided in the cylinder head 10. The push rod chamber 301 is provided at the upper portion of the cylinder block 30 and below the push rod hole 101, and the push rod chamber 301 and the push rod hole 101 communicate with each other. The tappet hole 302 is provided in the middle upper portion of the cylinder block 30 and below the push rod chamber 301. The camshaft cavity 303 is disposed in the middle of the cylinder block 30 and below the tappet hole 302, and the tappet hole 302 and the camshaft cavity 303 are communicated with each other. The lubricating oil on the top surface of the cylinder head 10 can flow back through the push rod chamber 301, the push rod hole 101, the tappet hole 302 and the camshaft cavity 303 to form a path of oil return passage of the engine.

In some embodiments, the pushrod chamber 301 and pushrod bore 101 are used to house a pushrod. The tappet hole 302 is used for installing a tappet, and the push rod and the tappet are coaxially connected. The camshaft cavity 303 is used to house a camshaft. Wherein the central axes of the push rod and the tappet are vertically crossed with the central axis of the camshaft. A gap exists between the push rod and the push rod chamber 301 and the push rod hole 101, a gap exists between the camshaft cavity 303 and the camshaft, and the gap between the push rod and the push rod chamber 301 and the push rod hole 101 and the gap between the camshaft cavity 303 and the camshaft are communicated with each other to form an oil return passage.

In some embodiments, the oil return structure for the head top surface of the engine further includes a balance hole 304 provided in the cylinder block 30, the balance hole 304 is located below the camshaft cavity 303, an upper portion of the balance hole 304 communicates with the camshaft cavity 303, a lower portion communicates with the crankcase 305, and the crankcase 305 communicates with the oil pan 40. In which the lubricating oil at the top face of the cylinder head 10 can be returned to the oil pan 40 through the oil return passage, the balance hole 304, and the crankcase 305.

In some embodiments, the pushrod chamber 301, pushrod bore 101, tappet bore 302, and camshaft cavity 303 are all disposed on one side of a cylinder bore of the engine. The cylinder head top surface oil return structure of the present embodiment mainly takes a six-cylinder inline double-valve side camshaft engine as an example, but the present invention is not limited to this, and the cylinder head top surface oil return structure of the present invention can also be applied to a V-type engine and other engines with other cylinder numbers.

In some embodiments, the cylinder head top surface oil return structure of the engine of the present invention operates as follows: referring to fig. 1 to 3, 12 push rod holes 101 of the cylinder head are used to return oil to the cylinder block 30. The cylinder block 30 has a push rod chamber 301 corresponding to the push rod hole 101, and then returns oil to the camshaft cavity 303 through the push rod chamber 301 and the tappet hole 302 on the cylinder block 30, and then returns oil to the crankcase 305 through the balance hole 304 between the camshaft cavity 303 and the crankcase 305, and finally returns oil to the oil pan 40.

In summary, the cylinder head top surface oil return structure of the engine has the following advantages: in the engine cylinder cover part, oil returns to the cylinder block by using a push rod hole of the structure of the cylinder cover, then returns to a camshaft cavity of the cylinder block by using a push rod chamber and a tappet hole of the cylinder block, and then returns to an oil pan through a balance hole between the camshaft cavity and a crankcase. The whole oil return process is realized by the aid of the existing structural characteristics of the engine, and by reasonably designing the push rod hole, the gap between the push rod chamber and the push rod, the gap between the tappet hole and the tappet, the gap between the camshaft cavity and the camshaft and the connecting action of the balance hole, natural backflow of lubricating oil is realized on the basis of not specially arranging an oil return cavity and ensuring the work and lubrication of the push rod, the tappet and the camshaft, so that the quantity of cylinder body sand cores and cylinder cover sand cores is simplified, and the casting cost of the whole engine is reduced.
