Technical Field

The invention relates to the technical field of power batteries, in particular to a top cover structure of a power battery.

Background

With the increasing development of new energy industry, the research and development of a power battery as a key component of the new energy industry are also more and more widely concerned; the power battery has the advantages of light weight, high capacity, long service life, low self-discharge rate, no memory effect, no pollution and the like, and particularly, the power battery is widely applied to equipment such as electric bicycles, electric hardware tools and the like, and the application of the power battery in the equipment has advantages.

In the prior art, a power battery cover plate adopts the steps that after an electrode post assembly is processed and molded, an assembled sealing ring is welded on the cover plate, and welding equipment acts on the surface of an electrode post through a pressing arm to enable the electrode post to compress the sealing ring and then carries out welding; the process can cause insufficient compression amount of the sealing ring, air leakage is caused, and the qualification rate of products is reduced.

In view of this, need to improve the power battery apron among the prior art to solve when compressing the sealing washer through the pressure arm effect, easily lead to the sealing washer compressive capacity not enough, cause the technical problem of gas leakage.

Disclosure of Invention

The invention aims to provide a top cover structure of a power battery, which solves the technical problems.

In order to achieve the purpose, the invention adopts the following technical scheme:

a top cover structure of a power battery comprises a cover plate sheet and a pole post assembly, wherein a pole post hole is formed in the cover plate sheet, the pole post assembly is fixedly connected with the cover plate sheet through the pole post hole, and the pole post assembly comprises a pole post body;

the pole body comprises a conductive part and a limiting part arranged around the first end part of the conductive part; the second end part of the conductive part penetrates out of the pole column hole and is fixedly connected with a plastic ring, and the plastic ring is arranged around the second end part of the conductive part;

an elastic sealing ring is further sleeved on the conductive part, and the sealing ring and a connecting ring used for pressing the sealing ring towards the direction of the limiting part are sequentially arranged between the plastic ring and the limiting part;

the pole column hole comprises a mounting groove and a mounting through hole which penetrates through the cover plate sheet from the bottom of the mounting groove;

the first end surface of the connecting ring is fixedly connected with the bottom of the mounting groove.

Optionally, the plastic ring includes a body and a connecting portion protruding from the body, and the connecting portion extends in a vertical direction and a first direction; the first direction is from the edge of the pole column body to the central axis of the pole column body;

The principle of the invention is as follows: during installation, the sealing ring 22 and the connecting ring 24 are sequentially sleeved on the pole column 21, and then the plastic ring 23 is fixedly connected to the pole column 21; the connecting ring 24 will generate an acting force towards the limiting part 212 to press the sealing ring, so that the sealing ring reaches a predetermined compression amount, thereby ensuring the air tightness of the pole assembly 2; compared with the prior art, the sealing ring is not required to be compressed by arm pressing equipment during installation, and the condition of poor welding is avoided; the air tightness of the pole assembly 2 is good, and then the connecting ring 24 is fixedly connected in the pole hole 11 to complete the installation of the pole assembly 2; the process steps are reduced, the air tightness of the whole structure is ensured, and the product percent of pass is improved.

It is to be understood that the sealing ring 22 is provided for meeting the requirement of the top cover air tightness of the power battery, and in order to meet the requirement, the effective compression amount of the sealing ring 22 needs to reach a certain range, wherein the preferable effective compression amount is 30%; in the scheme, the plastic ring 23 and the limiting part 212 are used for tightly abutting against the sealing ring 22, and then the connecting ring 24 is used for compressing the sealing ring 22, so that the compression amount of the sealing ring 22 reaches a preset effective value, and the sealing performance of the top cover is ensured.

Specifically, the plastic ring 23 includes a body 232 and a connecting portion 233 protruding from the body 232, wherein the connecting portion 233 extends in a vertical direction and a first direction; the first direction is a direction from the edge of the pole cylinder 21 to the central axis of the pole cylinder 21;

a gap portion is formed between the body 232 and the sealing ring 22, and the connecting ring 24 is inserted into the gap portion and is fixedly connected with the body 232.

Further, the second end of the conductive portion 211 is provided with a fixing groove 213 for mounting the plastic ring 23, and the connection portion 233 is embedded in the fixing groove 213 and fixedly connected to the conductive portion 211.

In the present embodiment, a first end surface of the seal ring 22 is in contact with the conductive portion 211, and a second end surface of the seal ring 22 is in contact with the connection portion 233. The connecting portion 233 serves to further limit the position of the sealing ring 22, so as to prevent the sealing ring 22 and the pole column 21 from moving relative to each other.

In the present embodiment, the connection ring 24 includes a first ring portion 241, a second ring portion 242, and a third ring portion 243, the first ring portion 241 is connected to an upper end of the second ring portion 242, and the third ring portion 243 is connected to a lower end of the second ring portion 242;

the second loop portion (242) extends in a vertical direction and a second direction; the second direction is a direction from the central axis of the pole cylinder 21 to the edge of the pole cylinder 21;

one end of the first ring part 241 extends into the gap part and is fixedly connected with the body 232; the third ring portion 243 is fixedly connected to the cover plate 1. The connecting ring 24 is bent, the third ring portion 243 is welded with the cover plate piece 1, and a certain space margin is formed between the third ring portion 243 and the pole body 21, so that welding is facilitated, and deviation is avoided.

In this embodiment, the second end surface of the first ring portion 241 is provided with a plurality of engaging slots 244, the first end surface of the body 232 is provided with connecting pins 231 matched with the engaging slots 244, and the connecting pins 231 are embedded in the engaging slots 244, so that the plastic ring 23 is fixedly connected to the connecting ring 24; wherein a radius of a bottom of the slot 244 is larger than a radius of an opening of the slot 244. The clamping groove 244 is a tapered cylinder groove, so that the connecting pin 231 is prevented from falling off after injection molding, and the stability of the structure is improved.

When the inner ring of the connection ring 24 is inserted into the gap portion during installation, since the thickness of the connection ring 24 is greater than that of the gap portion, the connection ring will generate a downward pressing force to act on the sealing ring 22, so that the sealing ring is compressed, thereby ensuring the air tightness of the pole assembly 2.
