Technical Field

The invention relates to the technical field of functional feed, in particular to a chicken feed rich in Omega-3 and an application method thereof.

Background

Omega-3 is a polyunsaturated fatty acid commonly found in deep-sea fishes and some plants, is one of the most important components in the cell structure of the human body, and is also an essential substance for normal operation of cell membranes, so that the Omega-3 is also called as an essential fatty acid, has multiple physiological effects of promoting cardiovascular health, eliminating migraine, preventing diabetes and the like, and is very beneficial to the health of the human body. Since Omega-3 cannot be stored in the human body, the human body needs to take a certain amount of Omega-3 every day to meet the needs of physical health. Common sources of Omega-3 mainly comprise deep sea fish oil, flaxseed, chia seed, seaweed and the like.

At present, people mostly eat health care products or medicines rich in Omega-3 to supplement Omega-3, and related medicines or purified products rich in Omega-3 sold in the market have high price and common taste, the quality of the products is uneven, some side effects are even brought, and for example, fish oil contains toxic substances such as heavy metals and a large amount of cholesterol, which are all unfavorable for human health. Therefore, the Omega-3 needed by the body every day is supplemented by eating the food rich in Omega-3, the method is simple and easy to implement, has moderate cost and no side effect, and the product has better mouthfeel and better quality and is more acceptable to consumers. Therefore, the search for food rich in Omega-3 to replace the traditional Omega-3 supplement medicines and health care products becomes a research hotspot in the field of current functional food.

The egg is the most commonly eaten protein food by people, and not only is rich in nutrition, but also has better taste. The amount of Omega-3 that can be provided in plain eggs is limited. In recent years, a plurality of eggs rich in Omega-3 are produced by laying hens by adding linseed to chicken feed. However, due to the existence of cyanide toxin in flaxseed, the production performance of laying hens is gradually reduced after the laying hens eat the flaxseed for a long time, irreversible damage is caused to the intestinal system and internal organs, and the health and production benefits of chicken flocks are seriously affected. Therefore, the development of a production technology which is rich in Omega-3 and does not influence the health of chicken flocks becomes a research hotspot in the field of current food development.
