Technical Field

The invention relates to the technical field of biotechnology, and particularly relates to a dandelion extract cichoric acid with intestinal mucosa injury resistance.

Background

The intestinal tract is an important digestive organ of a human body and also a largest detoxifying organ of the human body, so that the state of the intestinal tract determines the appearance and beauty of the human body. The intestine refers to the digestive tract from the stomach pylorus to the anus, and is the longest segment of the digestive tract, and is also the most important segment in function. The mammalian intestine includes the small intestine, large intestine and 3 large segments of the rectum. The large volume of digestion and the absorption of almost all the products of digestion are carried out in the small intestine, which concentrates mainly the food residues, forming feces, which are then excreted outside the body through the rectum and anus.

The loss or destruction of the intestinal mucosal barrier function can lead to repeated inflammation of the intestinal mucosa, causing Ulcerative Colitis (UC) with clinical manifestations of abdominal pain, abdominal distension, and mucous bloody stools, with weight loss and fever, epigastric discomfort, belching, anorexia, nausea, vomiting, etc. The main pathological changes of the colon cancer mainly comprise congestion, swelling, erosion and shallow ulcer of mucosa continuously distributed in the intestinal tract, mainly relate to mucosa and submucosa of large intestine, and can be developed from rectum and far-end colon to near-end colon in a reversible way to reach the whole colon. And the risk of colon cancer, the etiology and pathogenesis of UC is still unknown, but it is associated with genetic, environmental and immunological factors. Most of the drugs currently on the market for the treatment of enteritis contain high doses of steroids and immunomodulators. The action of intestinal microorganisms has proven to be of great significance, and the regulation of intestinal flora for the treatment of diseases has become a focus of research.
