The control system comprises a pair of electromagnetic coils (28, 30), the electromagnetic coils (28, 30) being arranged coaxially with the control disc (20) on opposite sides of the control disc (20) and being arranged to be selectively activated by an electric current to generate a magnetic force acting on the control disc (20) to axially move the control disc (20) and thus the engagement sleeve (16) in both directions.
