Technical Field

The present invention relates to an end plug for a bushing system (hereinafter also referred to as packer) according to the preamble of claim 1. In the following, end plugs refer to end sleeves, end plugs, sealing plugs and sealing sleeves.

Background

Packers are used for pipe and sewer rehabilitation and typically comprise a sleeve arranged between two end plugs and being pressurizable by a pressure medium to receive a liner or the like, which sleeve is reversibly arranged on the circumference of the end plugs. The end plugs of these packers known from the prior art are very laborious and cumbersome to remove after use using a suitable tool, for example using an angle grinder.

Disclosure of Invention

It is an object of the present invention to provide an end plug which eliminates the above-mentioned problems, is easy to install and minimizes the burden on the processor.

According to the invention, the above object is achieved in combination with the features according to the preamble of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments and further developments of the end plug according to the invention are disclosed in the dependent claims.

According to the invention, an end plug of the above-mentioned type is characterized in that the cross-section of the end plug consists of a number of part-annular and/or part-tubular and conical shaped pieces, at least one of which is of an embodiment that tapers conically from the inside outwards.

Detailed Description

As shown in fig. 1, the end plug 10 is formed in a modular design from a plurality of formed pieces 100, 101, 102, 103, 104, 105 preferably made of a light metal, for example of high strength aluminium. In addition, it is also possible to use plastics, composites and combinations thereof. The end plug 10 consists of a main body and a cap portion 120 with attachment means. Thus, the weight is distributed over a plurality of components. Lighter weight is possible due to lower density than steel. Due to the modular construction, the entire construction is very stable.

As shown in fig. 1, the profile parts 100, 101, 102, 103, 104, 105 bear against one another at their edges in a force-fitting and/or form-fitting manner and are preferably reversibly connected to one another by connecting means via a sealing surface and/or can be folded by means of a hinge technique. The complete mounting profile of the end plug 10 is thus achieved via these profiles 100, 101, 102, 103, 104, 105, as a result of which the entire body of the end plug 10 is very stable.

For this purpose, the profile parts 100, 101, 102, 103, 104, 105 are preferably also equipped with clamping screws, handles, guides, connecting elements, draw-through holes and sealing surfaces.

The end plug 10 further comprises at least one cap 120 which can be closed by an opening 110 formed by an annular or tubular shaped piece and which can be reversibly and in a press-fit and/or form-fit arrangement on the shaped piece 100, 101, 102, 103, 104, 105.

Furthermore, it is advantageous if the forming members 100, 101, 102, 103, 104, 105 are designed to form a tubular cheek (tubular cheek) of the end plug 10 for receiving a bushing.

In order to be able to couple the bushing with the packer, the bushing is preferably assembled with the tensioning and/or clamping element without the cover part 120. In doing so, the tension on the body must not deform it. The lid portion is now attached to the body by turnbuckles or other clamping and attachment techniques.

Furthermore, a handle, at least one safety valve, a camera support, a nozzle and a device unit for advantageously arranging the deflection roller unit 130 are positioned on the cover part 120. The cover 120 may also be separated by a connecting element.

The deflecting roller unit 130 is advantageously constituted by a movable side cheek 1300 with rollers 1301 mounted on a shaft. Furthermore, a catcher roller is preferably provided, which guides the cable or rope into the deflecting roller unit 130 when it is released. The deflection roller unit 130 is preferably designed such that it can be coupled and thus freely rotate. A further degree of freedom is created by the movable side cheeks 1301. The deflecting roller unit 130 is adaptable and applicable to all packers on the market.

Due to the embodiment of the deflecting roller unit 130 according to the invention, the packer can be rotated independently of the deflection, thus correctly guiding the cables and ropes from the nozzle when deflecting. After curing, the packer must be separated from the bonded liner.

Furthermore, in a particularly advantageous embodiment, a nozzle holder unit is provided which is arranged on a replaceable support plate. This makes it possible to adapt this packer to different UV system manufacturers.
