A connector with a PLR structure, comprising a plug and a socket, wherein the plug and the socket each comprise a sheath and a terminal which is mounted in the sheath in a hanging manner, characterized in that: the hooking elastic arm which extends along the axial direction of the sheath and is only connected with the sheath at the root part realizes the hooking and positioning of the terminal through the matching of the terminal hooking structure arranged at the head part of the hooking elastic arm and the terminal hooking structure; the plug and socket jacket are provided with PLR structures which are used for blocking the back of the terminal hanging nose structure at the opposite insertion end to prevent the terminal hanging nose structure at the opposite end from being stressed and bending backwards to cause the falling of the terminal when the connector is inserted.

Technical Field

The invention relates to the technical field of connectors, in particular to a connector with a PLR structure.

Background

In recent years, with the rapid development of the automobile industry, people have higher and higher requirements on the environmental protection, safety, intelligence, comfort and the like of automobiles; for the connector suppliers, it means that the stability requirements for the connector products are also becoming more and more stringent. Meanwhile, with the increasing of the functions of automobiles, the structure and the variety of the connector are also continuously changed and increased, and the connector supplier only continuously innovates the product structure and the process to meet the requirements of customers, so the quality of the connector is more and more emphasized by automobile manufacturers and spare part suppliers.

In current automotive industry applications, connectors are mainly used to make electrical connections, and ultimately, to transmit signals and power. A single part, also called a contact latch reinforcement device, is usually installed on the connector to reinforce the fixation of the terminal, and its function is to reinforce the terminal hook latch structure and prevent the terminal hooked on the elastic hook structure of the connector from falling off to cause the contact failure of the electrical connector.

The PLR is the assembly of the terminal after it is assembled to the position of the elastic nose structure of the connector. However, in some special use environments, for example, when a car is running, the PLR function may be disabled due to vibration or pulling of a wire harness, and the terminal may be detached, which may finally result in the failure of the electrical contact.

Disclosure of Invention

In order to solve the technical problems, the invention provides a connector with a PLR structure, wherein the PLR structure is arranged on a plug sheath and a socket sheath of the connector, and the PLR structure realizes the function of strengthening terminal locking after the plug sheath and the socket sheath are oppositely inserted and assembled.

The purpose of the invention and the technical problem to be solved are realized by adopting the following technical scheme. The connector with the PLR structure comprises a plug and a socket, wherein the plug and the socket both comprise a sheath and a terminal hung and assembled in the sheath, and a hanging elastic arm which extends along the axial direction of the sheath and is only connected with the sheath at the root part is matched with a hanging structure on the terminal through a terminal hanging nose structure arranged at the head part of the hanging elastic arm to realize the hanging and positioning of the terminal; the plug and socket jacket are provided with PLR structures which are used for blocking the back of the terminal hanging nose structure at the opposite insertion end to prevent the terminal hanging nose structure at the opposite end from being stressed and bending backwards to cause the falling of the terminal when the connector is inserted.

The object of the present invention and the technical problems solved thereby can be further achieved by the following technical measures.

The connector with the PLR structure is characterized in that the plug end PLR structure and the receptacle end PLR structure are respectively formed by extending the front end of the plug sheath and the front end of the receptacle sheath along the axial direction.

In the connector with the PLR structure, the outer side of the socket sheath is provided with a rib which is matched with the rib groove on the outer side of the plug sheath in an inserting manner.

The terminal hanging nose structure comprises a limiting part which extends along the axial direction of the sheath and is matched with the plug end PLR structure to realize terminal locking reinforcement and a hanging part which extends along the radial direction of the sheath on the inner side of the limiting part.

In the connector with the PLR structure, the front end surface of the hanging part is a stop limiting surface for preventing the terminal from moving backward, and the rear end surface is a guide surface for guiding the terminal to move and assemble.

In the connector with the PLR structure, a chamfer which plays a guiding role when the connector is plugged is arranged on the inner side of the front end of the PLR structure.

In the connector with the PLR structure, a chamfer consistent with a guide chamfer on the plug end PLR structure is arranged on the outer side of the terminal hanging nose structure limiting portion.

In the connector with the PLR structure, an arc-shaped flanging for enhancing the hanging reliability is arranged at the hanging position of the socket terminal and the socket terminal hanging nose structure, and the end part of the arc-shaped flanging is clamped in a groove formed between the limiting part and the hanging part in the socket terminal hanging nose structure.

In the connector with the PLR structure, when the plug and the socket are inserted, locking is realized through the matching of the clamping table on the socket sheath and the clamping groove on the plug sheath.

Compared with the prior art, the invention has obvious advantages and beneficial effects. By the technical scheme, the connector with the PLR structure can achieve considerable technical progress and practicability, has wide industrial utilization value and at least has the following advantages:

the PLR structure is arranged on the connector, namely the PLR structure is arranged on the connector. After the plug and the socket sheath are oppositely inserted and assembled, the PLR function of each other can be realized. To further illustrate the technical means and effects of the present invention adopted to achieve the predetermined objects, the following detailed description will be given to the specific implementation, structure, features and effects of the connector with PLR structure according to the present invention with reference to the accompanying drawings and preferred embodiments.

Please refer to fig. 1-4, which are schematic structural diagrams of parts of a connector with a PLR structure according to the present invention, the connector with a PLR structure includes a plug and a socket, wherein the plug includes a plug sheath 5 and a plug terminal 6 mounted in the plug sheath 5 in a hanging manner. And a terminal hanging structure which is matched with the hanging structure on the plug terminal 6 to realize hanging positioning is arranged in the plug sheath 5.

The plug hanging elastic arm 7 which extends along the axial direction of the plug sheath 5 and is connected with the plug sheath 5 at the root part realizes the hanging and positioning of the plug terminal hanging nose structure 71 arranged at the head part and the corresponding groove on the plug terminal 6. And a space which can satisfy the radial swing of the plug hanging elastic arm 7 along the plug sheath when the plug hanging elastic arm 7 is stressed is arranged between the plug hanging elastic arm 7 and the plug sheath 5. In the embodiment of the invention, the plug end PLR structure and the socket end PLR structure are respectively formed by extending the front end of the plug sheath and the front end of the socket sheath along the axial direction, and the PLR structure and the connector are in an integrated structure. Preferably, the inner side of the front end of the PLR structure is provided with a chamfer which plays a guiding role when the connector is plugged, so that the connector can be smoothly assembled when being plugged, but the PLR structure is not limited thereto.

In the embodiment of the invention, the PLR structure at the socket end is tightly attached to the plug sheath, so that the insertion of the connector is more reliable.

In the embodiment of the invention, the plug terminal hanging nose structure and the socket terminal hanging nose structure respectively comprise a limiting part which extends along the axial direction of the sheath and is matched with the plug end PLR structure to realize terminal locking reinforcement and a hanging part which extends along the radial direction of the sheath at the inner side of the limiting part. Preferably, the front end face of the hanging part is a stop limiting face, and the rear end face of the hanging part is a forward guide face, so that when the terminal is assembled, the terminal firstly moves along the guide face of the hanging part and extrudes the hanging part, and when the hanging part rebounds and is matched with the hanging structure on the terminal in place, the limiting face of the hanging part can limit the terminal to retreat.

In the embodiment of the invention, the outer side of the limiting part of the terminal hanging nose structure is provided with a chamfer consistent with a guide chamfer on the plug-in end PLR structure.

In the embodiment of the invention, the hanging part of the socket terminal and the socket terminal hanging nose structure is provided with the arc-shaped flanging 9, and the end part of the arc-shaped flanging is clamped in a groove formed between the limiting part and the hanging part in the socket terminal hanging nose structure, so that the hanging reliability of the terminal and the sheath can be enhanced.

The socket sheath 1 and the plug sheath 5 can judge whether the connector is inserted in place by observing the matching of the convex edge 13 on the outer side of the socket sheath 1 and the corresponding convex edge groove 13 on the outer side of the plug sheath, when the plug and the socket are inserted in place, the convex edge 12 is completely positioned in the convex edge groove 13, the front end of the convex edge is stopped and limited with the wall body on the inner side of the convex edge groove, and the connector is prevented from being damaged by excessively violent insertion force.

In the embodiment of the invention, when the plug and the socket are inserted, the insertion, the closing and the locking of the plug and the socket are realized through the matching of the clamping table 11 on the socket sheath and the clamping groove on the plug sheath. Preferably, the front end face of the clamping table 11 is a guide face which is matched with the plug shell to be inserted and moved, and the rear end face is a limiting face which prevents the socket from loosening and retreating.
