A dielectric loss measuring instrument is a high-precision instrument for fully automatically measuring dielectric loss tangent value and capacitance of various high-voltage power equipment in the field of power plants, transformer substations and the like, wherein a dielectric body consumes part of electric energy under the action of alternating voltage, the part of electric energy is converted into heat energy to generate loss, the energy loss is called the loss of the dielectric body, when the alternating voltage is applied to the dielectric body, a phase angle difference psi exists between the voltage and the current in the dielectric body, the residual angle delta of the psi is called a dielectric loss angle, the tangent tg delta of the delta is called the dielectric loss tangent, the tg delta value is a parameter for measuring the dielectric loss, a high-voltage set value is sent to a variable-frequency power supply after starting measurement, the variable-frequency power supply adjusts the output slow speed to a set value by using a PID algorithm, a measuring circuit sends the measured high voltage to the variable-frequency power supply, low voltage is finely adjusted to realize accurate high-voltage output, the measuring circuit automatically selects input and switches the measuring range according to the positive/negative connection line, the measuring circuit adopts Fourier to filter out interference, separates out signal fundamental wave, carries out vector operation on standard current and test capacitance, calculates the angle difference tg delta, and repeatedly measures intermediate speed and sends out a step-down instruction.
