the formula of the overglaze comprises: 35% of clinker, 25% of potassium feldspar, 12% of zinc, 12% of zirconium, 20% of calcite, 12% of quartz, 8% of titanium, 6% of Guizhou soil, 5% of iron red, 5% of manganese carbonate and 1% of copper;

the formula of the ground glaze is as follows: 60% of clinker, 25% of potassium feldspar, 25% of quartz, 15% of dolomite, 13% of zinc, 13% of interface mud, 9% of iron oxide red, 3% of manganese carbonate and 2% of copper.

4. An iridescent pearl glaze according to claim 1, wherein:

the formula of the overglaze comprises: 30% of frit, 20% of potassium feldspar, 10% of zinc, 10% of zirconium, 15% of calcite, 10% of quartz, 5% of titanium, 4% of Guizhou soil, 3% of iron red, 3% of manganese carbonate and 0.5% of copper;

the formula of the ground glaze is as follows: 50% of clinker, 20% of potassium feldspar, 20% of quartz, 10% of dolomite, 10% of zinc, 10% of interface mud, 7% of iron oxide red, 2% of manganese carbonate and 1% of copper.

Background

The iridescent glaze is a ceramic glaze which can show different color effects, or colorful rings with multiple colors, or multicolor iridescent effects, or pearl luster and interference luster, or silver luster on the surface of the glaze in sunlight. In the process of forming the iridescent glaze, crystals or crystalline films are separated from the surface of the iridescent glaze under certain thermodynamic conditions, and the refractive index, the reflection and the absorption characteristics of the crystals and the glass phases are different, so that visible light with various wavelengths incident on a glaze layer generates optical path difference to cause light interference, and the iridescent effect is caused. The traditional iridescent glaze is easy to cause environmental pollution in the production process, and the surface gloss and the flatness of a finished product are still to be improved.

A comparison was made with respect to the three examples described above: the glossiness of the iridescent glaze prepared in the first embodiment is not as good as that of the iridescent glaze prepared in the second and third embodiments; compared with the rainbow glaze prepared in the first embodiment and the second embodiment, partial colors of the rainbow glaze are reduced; the iridescent glaze prepared in the third embodiment has clear color and fresh light, and the glaze surface is smooth and flat like a bright pearl.
