Technical Field

The invention belongs to the technical field of pressure-sensitive adhesives, and particularly relates to an ultraviolet-resistant acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive tape and a preparation method thereof.

Background

In recent years, the development of touch screens is very rapid, and with the increasing inquiry of multimedia information, people have more and more applications to the touch screens. The OCA optical adhesive tape has the advantages of being colorless and transparent, having the transmittance of more than 90 percent, having good bonding strength, having small curing shrinkage, not generating yellowing and the like, and particularly having no corrosion to ITO glass and optical elements and the like, so the OCA optical adhesive tape is most widely applied to the industry of touch screens by virtue of excellent physical and chemical properties.

Meanwhile, with the rapid development of electronic technology, electronic products such as mobile phones, computers, televisions and the like become necessities of life of people, and people need to spend much time facing the electronic products every day, however, ultraviolet light which is extremely harmful to human bodies is contained in light emitted by LED lamps of the electronic products. The ultraviolet light is high-energy light with the wavelength of 180nm-400nm, can penetrate through crystalline lens to reach retina, leads epithelial cells of retinal pigment to die, leads photosensitive cells to lack nutrients, thereby causing irreversible eyesight damage, has higher scattering probability when the blue light meets fine particles in the air, is easy to generate glare, and can stimulate the brain, inhibit melatonin secretion and improve the generation of adrenocortin so as to destroy hormone secretion balance and directly influence sleep quality.

Therefore, the ultraviolet light-proof optical adhesive tape is developed, and can absorb ultraviolet light when being used in electronic products on the premise of having better optical performance, which has great significance for protecting the health of human bodies.

At present, only a small amount of products are available in the market, and most products are foreign products. After the glass panel is attached to the screen glass cover plate, the undesirable phenomena such as bubbles, peeling and the like occur, and the ultraviolet resistance effect is poor. The ultraviolet blocking rate of the products in the market can only reach 70-80%. The requirement of practical use can not be met.

Disclosure of Invention

In order to solve the technical problems, the invention discloses an ultraviolet-resistant acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive tape and a preparation method thereof, and the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape has the advantages of good ultraviolet blocking effect, low yellowing value, no yellowing, no bubble return, no edge warping under a high-temperature and high-humidity environment, convenience in reworking, no residue in adhesive tearing, no pollution to attached materials and the like.

The invention adopts the following specific technical scheme:

an ultraviolet-resistant acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive tape comprises an acrylate polymer, a PET (polyethylene terephthalate) substrate and a PET release film, wherein the acrylate polymer is arranged between the PET substrate and the PET release film, the acrylate polymer is coated on the PET substrate, and the PET release film is covered on the acrylate polymer.

In the technical scheme, the acrylate polymer is mainly generated by polymerizing acrylic acid, methyl acrylate, methyl methacrylate, alpha-methacrylic acid, styrene, ethyl acetate, methacrylamide, 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate, hydroxyethyl acrylate, hydroxybutyl acrylate, isooctyl acrylate and azodiisobutyronitrile in a solvent polymerization mode. The production method comprises the steps of adding 5 parts of acrylic acid, 17.5 parts of methyl acrylate, 10 parts of methyl methacrylate, 45 parts of isooctyl acrylate, 10 parts of butyl acrylate, 5 parts of styrene, 2.5 parts of hydroxyethyl acrylate and 2.5 parts of methacrylamide, proportionally mixing and stirring the polyacrylate pressure-sensitive adhesive, the curing agent, the high-efficiency ultraviolet absorbent and the solvent uniformly in a light-shielding cup, stirring uniformly by a dispersion machine at the rotating speed of 600rpm/min for 15-60min, and standing for natural defoaming for more than 30 min. And coating the prepared acrylate polymer on a PET release film substrate, drying the solvent by an oven, and attaching the PET release film to obtain a finished product.

In a further improvement of the invention, the ultraviolet absorbent adopts benzophenone or benzotriazole, and the curing agent adopts one or more of aluminum acetylacetonate, aziridine and isocyanate. The ultraviolet absorbent is a light stabilizer, can absorb the ultraviolet part in sunlight and fluorescence light source, but does not change, can be divided into salicylates, benzophenones, benzotriazoles, substituted acrylonitrile, triazines and the like according to the structure, and the benzophenones and the benzotriazoles are most applied in industry, so the benzophenones or the benzotriazoles are also selected in the invention; the curing agent, also called hardening agent, curing agent or setting agent, is a substance or mixture for promoting or controlling curing reaction, and can be divided into normal temperature curing agent and heating curing agent according to application, and when the epoxy resin is cured at high temperature, its performance is good, but in the adhesive, etc. because of difficult heating, it is required to cure at normal temperature, so that one or several kinds of aluminium acetylacetonate, aziridine and isocyanate are selected.

The invention has the beneficial effects that: the specific combination of the acrylate polymer, the ultraviolet absorbent and the curing agent ensures that the prepared pressure-sensitive adhesive has large cohesive force, good wettability and excellent water resistance and aging resistance; compared with the traditional pressure-sensitive adhesive, the acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive has more excellent adhesion, yellowing resistance, ultraviolet resistance and peel strength, effectively solves the problems of degumming and adhesive residue of the traditional acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive, and has good light transmittance and good invisible effect; the pressure-sensitive adhesive can still keep excellent bonding performance under the conditions of high temperature or low temperature; the adhesive tape can be formed in one step, and particularly, a PET (polyethylene terephthalate) substrate is selected as the substrate, so that the adhesive tape has the advantages of better transparency, thinner thickness, low manufacturing cost, convenience in use, wide application range and better ultraviolet absorption effect, and the ultraviolet blocking rate of the adhesive tape in a waveband of less than 400nm is as high as 95%; the invention has better bonding and re-stripping capabilities; the crosslinking agent and the auxiliary agent used in the invention have good improvement on weather resistance.

And coating the prepared acrylate polymer on a PET release film substrate, drying the solvent by an oven, and attaching the PET release film to obtain a finished product.

The common ultraviolet resistant adhesive tape in the market is characterized in that an ultraviolet absorbent is added into the pressure sensitive adhesive to absorb ultraviolet rays, so that the weather resistance of an adhesive material and a base material is protected, and the service life is prolonged; another common method is to add an ultraviolet absorber to a pressure-sensitive adhesive to block ultraviolet, which generally requires blocking a specific wavelength band, protecting a rear optical element from being damaged by ultraviolet, and often requiring resistance to heat.

The ultraviolet-resistant acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive tape in this example was compared with a commercially available adhesive tape in initial adhesion, peeling force and holding force:

examples Comparative example
Initial adhesion (N/25 mm) 20 15
Peel force (N/25 mm) Good effect Poor (falling off from glass cover)
Holding power (h) No movement for more than 24h Degumming for 2h
