A package structure including a receiving portion and a sealing portion extending from the receiving portion, comprising:

the accommodating part comprises a first edge, a second edge, a third edge and a fourth edge which are connected in sequence, wherein the first edge and the third edge are arranged oppositely, the second edge is connected with the first edge and the third edge, and the fourth edge is connected with the first edge and the third edge, wherein the length of the first edge is smaller than that of the second edge, and the length of the first edge is smaller than that of the fourth edge; and

the sealing portion is arranged on the second edge, the third edge and the fourth edge, the sealing portion comprises a first sealing edge arranged along the second edge and a second sealing edge arranged along the fourth edge, and the first sealing edge extends out of the first edge and the second sealing edge extends out of the first edge and the first edge is folded towards the first edge.

The package structure of claim 1, wherein a length of the first edge is equal to or less than a length of the third edge.

The packaging structure of claim 1, wherein a length of a portion of the first edge seal that extends beyond the first edge is less than a length of the first edge.

The packaging structure of claim 3, wherein a length of a portion of the second edge seal that extends beyond the first edge is less than a length of the first edge.

The packaging structure of claim 4, wherein a sum of a length of a portion of the first edge seal that extends beyond the first edge and a length of a portion of the second edge seal that extends beyond the first edge is less than a length of the first edge.

The package structure of any of claims 1-5, wherein the first edge, the second edge, the third edge, or the fourth edge is an uneven edge.

The packaging structure of any one of claims 1-5, wherein the receptacle is rectangular parallelepiped.

An electrochemical device comprising a cell, further comprising the encapsulation structure of any of claims 1-7, wherein the receiving portion receives the cell.

The electrochemical device of claim 8, wherein the cell is contoured to the receiving portion.

The electrochemical device of claim 8, further comprising a tab having one end positioned within the receiving portion for connecting the cell and another end extending from the encapsulation along the sealing portion.
