the processor, upon receiving an instruction from a user to preferentially perform document processing on the second document, causes the second document to be displayed preferentially over the document being displayed on the second screen.

4. The document processing apparatus according to claim 2,

the processor displays the second document at the end of the queue of documents being displayed on the second screen when an instruction to perform document processing on the second document is received from a user.

5. The document processing apparatus according to claim 2,

the processor does not display the second document on the second screen when an instruction to not perform document processing on the second document is received from a user.

6. The document processing apparatus according to claim 1,

when the specific document storage area is shared with another user and the user has performed the document processing on the document displayed on the second screen, the processor indicates to the other user that the document processing has been performed on the document.

the processor deletes the document on which the document processing has been performed by another user from the second screen, thereby indicating to the user that the document processing has been performed on the document.

12. A recording medium storing a program for causing a computer to realize functions of:

displaying the document stored in the specific document storage area on the first screen;

displaying a first document selected on the first screen on a second screen for accepting a predetermined document processing operation; and

when a new document is saved in the document saving area during execution of the document processing, the new document, i.e., a second document is displayed on the second screen without accepting selection of the second document on the first screen.

When a new document is saved in a specific document saving area while the predetermined document processing is being executed on the second screen, the user must select a new document on the first screen and then execute the predetermined document processing on the new document on the second screen, which is troublesome for the user.

The present invention is directed to reduce the man-hours of a user who displays a new document on a second screen when the document processing is being executed while the new document is stored in a document storage area in a case where a document stored in a specific document storage area is displayed on the first screen, a first document selected on the first screen is displayed on the second screen which accepts an operation for a predetermined document processing, and the predetermined document processing is performed on the first document.

Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described based on the drawings.

Fig. 1 is a diagram showing an overall configuration of a document processing system according to the present embodiment. Fig. 1 shows a document processing apparatus 10 and a document management server 20. The document processing system according to the present embodiment includes a plurality of document processing apparatuses 10, but each of the document processing apparatuses may be configured identically, and therefore, fig. 1 shows only one document processing apparatus 10 as functional blocks.

The document management server 20 in the present embodiment can be realized by a hardware configuration of a conventional general-purpose server computer. That is, the document management server 20 includes a Central Processing Unit (CPU), a Read Only Memory (ROM), a Random Access Memory (RAM), a storage Unit such as a Hard Disk Drive (HDD), a network interface (network interface) provided as a communication Unit for communicating with each document Processing apparatus 10, and the like.

The document management server 20 in the present embodiment includes an edit control unit 21 and a document storage unit 22, and manages documents used in the present system. Constituent elements not used for the description of the present embodiment are omitted from the drawings. The document storage section 22 stores documents used in the present system. The document processing apparatus 10 according to the present embodiment can be realized by a hardware configuration of a conventional general-purpose Computer such as a Personal Computer (PC). That is, the document processing apparatus 10 includes a storage means such as a CPU, a ROM, a RAM, and a Hard Disk Drive (HDD), a user interface means such as a mouse or a keyboard provided as an input means and a display provided as a display means, a network interface provided as a communication means for communicating with the document management server 20, and the like.

The document processing device 10 in the present embodiment includes a document acquisition unit 11, a document confirmation and correction processing unit 12, an additional document monitoring unit 13, a User Interface (UI) processing unit 14, a control unit 15, and a document storage unit 16. Constituent elements not used for the description of the present embodiment are omitted from the drawings.

The document acquisition unit 11 acquires a document to be subjected to the confirmation correction processing from the document management server 20. The document confirmation and correction processing section 12 displays a document in response to a user operation to allow the user to confirm the content of the document, and performs a confirmation and correction process for allowing the user to correct the document as necessary as a predetermined document process. The added document monitoring unit 13 monitors that a document is newly added and registered in a specific document storage area of the document storage unit 22. The user interface processing unit 14 includes an operation receiving unit 141 and a display control unit 142. The operation receiving unit 141 receives a user operation using a mouse, a keyboard, or the like. The display control section 142 controls display on the display. The control unit 15 controls the operations of the constituent elements 11 to 14. In the document storage part 16, the document acquired from the document management server 20 is stored.

Each of the components 11 to 15 in the document processing device 10 is realized by the coordinated operation of a computer forming the document processing device 10 and a program run by a CPU mounted on the computer. The document storage unit 16 is realized by a storage means mounted in the document processing device 10.

The program used in the present embodiment may be provided by a communication unit, or may be stored in a computer-readable recording medium such as a Compact Disc-Read Only Memory (CD-ROM) or a Universal Serial Bus (USB) Memory. A program supplied from a communication section or a recording medium is installed into a computer, and the program is sequentially executed by a CPU of the computer, thereby realizing various processes.

The user uses the document processing apparatus 10 to perform a confirmation and correction operation for confirming the contents of the document stored in the specific document storage area of the document storage unit 22 and correcting the contents as necessary. Basically, the confirmation and correction process may be performed only once by one user for one document, but the confirmation and correction job may be performed a plurality of times by the same user or different users for one document in order to improve the confirmation accuracy. In addition, a plurality of documents may be shared by a plurality of users to perform a confirmation and correction job of the documents simultaneously and in parallel.

The confirmation and correction job is a job performed by the user using the functional processing provided by the document processing apparatus 10 when confirming and correcting a document. The confirmation correction processing is processing executed in the document processing apparatus 10 at the time of confirmation correction work of the document, but is not particularly strictly required to be used separately.

In the present embodiment, a ticket will be described as an example of a document. The "ticket" refers to one form of a document, and in the present embodiment, refers to a document written in a predetermined format by hand by a user. As a document written by the user by hand, there are a questionnaire and the like in addition to the ticket. In the present embodiment, only a ticket is processed as a document, and therefore in the following description, "document" is synonymous with "ticket".

Next, a confirmation and correction job of a document by a user will be described.

In order to perform a predetermined operation for confirming the registration job, the user acquires a ticket to be subjected to the registration job confirmation from the document management server 20, and displays a ticket selection screen on the display of the document processing apparatus 10.

Fig. 2 is a diagram showing an example of display of a document selection screen in the present embodiment. On the document selection screen 31 as the first screen, documents stored in a specific document storage area of the document storage unit 22 are displayed in a list. In fig. 2, an example is shown in which a file name, a ticket name, a scanning date and time, and a status are displayed as information relating to a document. The display items are only an example, and are not necessarily limited thereto. The file name is the file name of the document. The ticket name is a name indicating a format of the ticket. Thus, it is sometimes common to document files as illustrated in fig. 2. The scanning date and time is the date and time when the ticket is read by the scanner and converted into image data. In the present embodiment, since the document is stored in the specific document storage area at the same time as the scanning, the scanning date and time is synonymous with the date and time registered in the specific document storage area. The status represents the status of the ticket. A state in which a ticket is read and character recognition processing is being performed, a state in which the ticket is stored in a specific document storage area and is waiting for a document confirmation and correction processing target ("on standby" in fig. 2), a state in which the ticket is selected by a user and is a confirmation and correction processing target ("on confirmation" in fig. 2), a state in which the correction processing is confirmed to have ended ("end" in fig. 2), and the like.

On the display line of each document, a check box 32 is displayed in association with each other. Further, the check box 32 of the document whose processing has been completed is displayed so as not to be selectable. The user checks the check box 32 corresponding to the document to be processed and selects the document display button 33. However, in the present embodiment, if all the check boxes 32 are not checked, it is considered that all the tickets are selected. Here, it is assumed that the user selects the document display button 33 in a state where all the check boxes 32 are not checked.

The document acquisition section 11 acquires a corresponding document file from the document management server 20 when the document display button 33 is selected, and saves it in the document storage section 16.

Fig. 3 is a diagram showing an example of display of the document confirmation correction screen displayed by selecting the document display button 33 in fig. 2. On the document confirmation and correction screen 34 as the second screen, there are displayed: a ticket display area 35 for displaying an image of a ticket which is a document file acquired by the document acquisition section 11; and a confirmation-correction area 36 for the user to confirm the contents of the ticket and to make corrections as needed. The characters handwritten on the ticket are subjected to character recognition processing, but in the confirmation correction area 36, an image of handwritten characters as an item to be confirmed and a character recognition result are displayed in parallel. The user can confirm the contents filled in the ticket with reference to the confirmation-correction area 36. And, confirming whether the character recognition result is consistent with the handwritten character or not according to the comparison result of the handwritten character and the character recognition result. If the character recognition result is not consistent with the handwritten character, the user corrects the character recognition result. The document confirmation and correction processing unit 12 allows the user to perform a confirmation and correction operation for the ticket displayed in the ticket display area 35 in the confirmation and correction area 36.

Further, on the document confirmation and correction screen 34 shown in fig. 3, information indicating the number of processes performed by the confirmation and correction job performed by the user is displayed. The document confirmation and correction processing section 12 displays, as information indicating the number of processed sheets, a number of processed sheets indicator (indicator)37 indicating that the sheets to be processed acquired by the document acquisition section 11 are divided into the number of confirmed sheets ("confirmed") and the number of sheets not yet confirmed ("unconfirmed"). The ticket includes one or more items to be confirmed, but the document confirmation and correction processing unit 12 divides all the items included in all the tickets into the number of confirmed items ("confirmed") and the number of unconfirmed items ("unconfirmed") and displays them as the confirmed item number information 38. The confirmation item number information 38 may be displayed through a user interface such as the processor number indicator 37. In the present embodiment, both the confirmed number and the number that has not been confirmed are shown, but at least one of them may be shown. The display means of the automatic acquisition changeover switch 39 will be described later.

When the confirmation correction of the item displayed in the confirmation correction area 36 is completed, the user checks the check box 40 corresponding to the item. The document confirmation correction processing portion 12 updates the confirmation item number information 38 each time the check box 40 is checked. When the confirmation registration for all items contained in one ticket is finished, the user selects the confirmation button 41. The confirmation button 41 may be selected by collectively processing a plurality of tickets.

When the confirmation button 41 is selected, the document confirmation and correction processing section 12 transmits the ticket for confirming that the correction processing has been completed to the document management server 20. The document management server 20 saves the transmitted ticket in a specific document saving area. Then, the document confirmation and correction processing unit 12 updates the number-of-processes indicator 37 when transmitting the ticket for which the completion of the correction process is confirmed to the document management server 20.

The following describes a document confirmation and correction process performed when the user performs a confirmation and correction job of a document from the document confirmation and correction screen 34, with reference to a flowchart shown in fig. 4.

The control unit 15 operates in cooperation with the document acquisition unit 11 and the document confirmation and correction processing unit 12 to cause the display control unit 142 to display the document selection screen 31, the document confirmation and correction screen 34, and the pop-up screen 51 described later, but in the following description, for the sake of simplicity of description, the display screen of the document acquisition unit 11 or the document confirmation and correction processing unit 12, which is the main body of the screen display processing, will be described. Similarly, although the information input by the user operation or from the screen is received by the operation receiving unit 141 and the document acquisition unit 11 and the document confirmation and correction processing unit 12 perform a predetermined operation upon receiving the information received by the operation receiving unit 141, the following description will be made with reference to the document acquisition unit 11 or the document confirmation and correction processing unit 12 receiving the information for the sake of simplifying the description.

While the document confirmation and correction processing is being performed, the added document monitoring unit 13 monitors whether or not a document is newly added and registered in a specific document storage area of the document storage unit 22 of the document management server 20, at all times or at a fixed cycle. Alternatively, when the document management server 20 detects the registration of a document to a specific document storage area, the additional document monitoring unit 13 may be notified of the above-mentioned intention every time or at a fixed cycle, and the additional document monitoring unit 13 may receive the notification to detect that the document is newly additionally registered in the specific document storage area.

The document confirmation and correction process is repeated until the user selects the confirmation button 41 (N in step S101), and is ended by selecting the confirmation button 41 (Y in step S101). When the cancel button 42 is selected, it is determined that the document confirmation and correction processing is interrupted, and the document confirmation and correction processing is ended.

When the user confirms all the tickets selected, the user selects the confirmation button 41. The document confirmation and correction processing section 12 transmits the processing contents of the document confirmation and correction processing temporarily held to the document management server 20 in accordance with the user operation. Along with this, the state of the processed ticket is changed to "end".

As described above, the document confirmation and correction processing unit 12 performs the document confirmation and correction processing for causing the item to be confirmed of the ticket to be processed to be displayed in the confirmation and correction area 36 and causing the user to perform the confirmation and correction work described above (step S102).

If the document processing apparatus 10 does not receive any information while the document confirmation and correction job is being performed (N in step S103), the document confirmation and correction processing portion 12 causes the user to continue the confirmation and correction job.

Here, when the document processing apparatus 10 receives some information (Y in step S103), and when it is detected that a new document is additionally registered in the specific document storage area of the document storage unit 22 (Y in step S104), the document confirmation and correction processing unit 12 shifts the process to step S101 if the user has not selected the automatic acquisition mode (N in step S105).

Further, the user can select whether or not to cause the document confirmation correction process to operate in the automatic acquisition mode by the aforementioned automatic acquisition changeover switch 39. The automatic acquisition mode is a mode in which when a document is newly registered in a specific document storage area, the document is automatically displayed on the document confirmation and correction screen 34. When the user operates the automatic acquisition changeover switch 39 and selects off (off), the document confirmation and correction processing section 12 accepts the selection and does not operate the document confirmation and correction processing in the automatic acquisition mode. When the user selects the operation in the automatic acquisition mode (Y in step S105), the document confirmation and correction processing unit 12 displays the document additionally registered in the specific document storage area, but displays the pop-up screen on the document confirmation and correction screen 34 before that (step S106).

Fig. 5 is a diagram showing an example of display of a pop-up screen in the present embodiment. On the pop-up screen 51, there are displayed: a new document display area 52 for displaying a list of documents newly additionally registered in the specific document storage area (hereinafter also referred to as "new documents"); and a sheet display area 53 for displaying an image of the sheet. In the new document display area 52, the file name of the document newly additionally registered in the specific document holding area, and the addition date and time when the document was registered in the specific document holding area are displayed in association with each new document. The file names are displayed selectively, and when the user selects any one of the file names, the document confirmation and correction processing section 12 causes the document acquiring section 11 to acquire the selected document from the document management server 20, and causes the ticket display area 53 to display the image of the document. Note that the ticket display area 53 may not be displayed on the screen until the user selects a file name.

Further, for each new document, buttons 54, 55, and 56 of "confirm", "confirm immediately", and "ignore" are displayed in association with each other. Further, in the new document display area 52, buttons 57, 58, and 59 of "all confirmed", "all immediate confirmed", and "all ignored" are displayed. The user selects the buttons 54 to 59 displayed on the pop-up screen 51 to instruct processing of a new document, and the document confirmation and correction processing unit 12 receives an instruction relating to the new document in accordance with the button operation performed by the user.

As described above, a document to be processed by the user is introduced into the document confirmation and correction screen 34 and displayed in the ticket display area 35. In fig. 3, only one ticket is displayed, but the display can be switched, so that the document to be processed can be selectively displayed on the document confirmation and correction screen 34. In addition, since the items to be checked and corrected included in the document to be processed are displayed in the check and correction area 36 in a scrollable manner (scroll), it can be said that the document to be processed is displayed.

When the user selects any of the "ok" buttons 54 (yes in step S107), the document confirmation and correction processing part 12 acquires a new document corresponding to the selected "ok" button 54 from the document management server 20, stores the new document in the document storage part 16 (step S108), and additionally displays the latest document of the document displayed on the document confirmation and correction screen 34 (step S109). Thus, the user can perform processing in the order in which new documents are acquired.

When the user selects any of the "immediate confirmation" buttons 55 (all of which are immediately confirmed in step S107), the document confirmation and correction processing part 12 acquires a new document corresponding to the selected "immediate confirmation" button 55 from the document management server 20, stores the new document in the document storage part 16 (step S110), and additionally displays the new document immediately after the document on which the user is performing the confirmation and correction processing in the queue of documents already displayed on the document confirmation and correction screen 34 (step S111). That is, when the confirmation and correction processing for the items included in the document to be processed by the user is completed, the user can set the newly added document as the processing target without performing a special operation such as a scroll operation. Thus, the user can process the new document most preferentially and efficiently. Further, the document to be newly added may be displayed as a processing target before the document to be newly added is added to the document to be subjected to the confirmation and correction processing by the user, and the processing of the document to be originally subjected to the confirmation and correction processing may be continued after the confirmation and correction processing of the newly added document is completed. In other words, the processing of the document to be processed by the user can be temporarily interrupted, and the newly added document can be processed. Thus, the user can process a new document with priority and efficiency over a document on which the confirmation correction processing is being performed, and can easily cope with a document requiring emergency processing.

When the user selects any of the "ignore" buttons 56 (ignore (all) in step S107), the document confirmation correction processing part 12 does not acquire a new document corresponding to the selected "ignore" button 56. That is, it is not displayed on the document confirmation and correction screen 34. This allows the user not to set the new document as a target for confirmation of the correction job. Further, when the user presses the "ignore" button 56, it may be deleted from the new document display area 52 corresponding to the "ignore" button 56. Thereby, the user can easily confirm the new document in the new document display area 52.

The respective buttons 54, 55, and 56 of "confirm", "immediate confirm", and "ignore" are provided corresponding to new documents, and therefore, even when all the new documents are to be dealt with in the same manner, the same operation must be repeated by the number of new documents. Therefore, in the case where it is intended to process all new documents in the same manner, it is convenient to select any one of the buttons 57, 58, 59 of "all confirmed", "all immediate confirmed", and "all ignored".

That is, when the user selects the "all ok" button 57 (yes in step S107), the document confirmation correction processing part 12 acquires all the new documents being displayed in the new document display area 52 from the document management server 20, stores the acquired new documents in the document storage part 16 (step S108), and additionally displays the acquired new documents at the last of the documents already displayed on the document confirmation correction screen 34 (step S109). When the user selects the "all immediate confirmation" button 58 (all immediate confirmations in step S107), the document confirmation and correction processing part 12 acquires all the new documents being displayed in the new document display area 52 from the document management server 20 and stores them in the document storage part 16 (step S110), and additionally displays them immediately after the document on which the user is performing the confirmation and correction processing in the queue of documents already displayed on the document confirmation and correction screen 34 (step S111). Alternatively, the newly added document may be displayed as a confirmation editing target before the document to which the user is performing the confirmation correction processing, and the processing of the document to which the confirmation correction processing is originally performed may be continued after the confirmation correction processing of the newly added document is completed.

The new document is basically displayed in the order of being displayed in the new document display area 52, but the order of being displayed in the new document may be changed. Further, when the user selects the "all ignore" button 59 (all ignore in step S107), the document confirmation and correction processing part 12 does not acquire a new document. That is, it is not displayed on the document confirmation and correction screen 34. Further, when the user presses the "ignore" button 56, it may be deleted from the new document display area 52 corresponding to the "ignore" button 56.

When the user selects the close button 60 after deciding to perform the processing for a new document and performing the button operation described above, the document confirmation and correction processing section 12 erases the pop-up screen 51. The user may select the close button 60 without performing the above-described button operation, and may erase the pop-up screen 51. Further, the new document may be displayed on the document confirmation and correction screen 34 when the user presses the buttons 54, 55, 57, and 58, or the pop-up screen 51 may be eliminated when the user presses the buttons 57 to 59. When the update button 61 is selected, the document confirmation and correction processing unit 12 acquires a new document added to a specific document storage area after the display of the pop-up screen 51, and updates the display of the new document display area 52.

In the present embodiment, when the automatic acquisition mode is operated (Y in step S105), if a document is additionally registered in a specific document storage area, the document confirmation correction processing unit 12 displays the pop-up screen 51 (step S106), but the new document may be automatically displayed on the document confirmation correction screen 34 without displaying the pop-up screen 51. In this case, the user cannot select the display position of the new document, that is, whether the document is displayed after the document being processed or at the end of the queue of the documents being displayed.

When a new document is added as described above and displayed on the document confirmation and correction screen 34, the document confirmation and correction processing unit 12 updates the display of the number-of-processed-item indicator 37 and the confirmation item number information 38 in accordance with the addition of the new document. Thus, even when a new document is automatically added as a display target, the user can grasp the entire number to be processed or the number of unprocessed documents.

Further, since the specific document storage area is shared by a plurality of users as described above, there is a possibility that other users are simultaneously performing the document confirmation and correction job in parallel. In this case, although there is a possibility that one document is handled by a plurality of users, it is not efficient for other users to confirm and correct the document whose correction has been confirmed by a certain user in the same manner.

Therefore, when the document confirmation and correction processing (step S102) is completed during the execution of the document confirmation and correction processing, the document confirmation and correction processing section 12 may indicate to another user that the confirmation and correction processing has been completed. For example, the other users are notified of the ticket whose order has been confirmed. That is, the file name of the ticket whose registration has been confirmed is transmitted to the document processing apparatus 10 used by another user.

When receiving a notification of the confirmed completion of the registration from the other document processing device 10 (N in step S104, Y in step S112), the document confirmation registration processing unit 12 displays the ticket of which the registration has been confirmed on the document confirmation registration screen 34 and indicates to the user that the registration has been confirmed by another user when the confirmation of the registration has not been performed yet. For example, the ticket is deleted from the document confirmation and correction screen 34 (step S113). Therefore, the other users do not repeatedly confirm and order the tickets that have been confirmed and ordered. Here, the document confirmation and correction processing section 12 is configured to automatically delete the document whose correction has been confirmed, but may be configured to display the notification on the document confirmation and correction screen 34, and to perform the processing itself of deleting the displayed ticket from the document confirmation and correction screen 34 by the user.

When the ticket is deleted, the document confirmation and correction processing unit 12 updates the display of the number-of-processes indicator 37 and the confirmation item number information 38 in accordance with the deletion of the ticket. Thus, even when the ticket is automatically deleted, the user can grasp the entire number to be processed or the number of unprocessed tickets.

In the above description, the document processing apparatus 10 directly notifies the document processing apparatus 10 being used by another user, but may be transmitted to the document management server 20 and indirectly notified via the document management server 20.

That is, when the document management server 20 receives a notification indicating that the order of the ticket has been confirmed from the document processing apparatus 10, the edit control unit 21 notifies all the document processing apparatuses 10 of the fact that the order of the ticket has been confirmed. The editing control unit 21 may exclude the document processing apparatus 10 that has issued the notification indicating that the correction has been confirmed, from the notification target.

Further, the document management server 20 receives the notification indicating that the order has been confirmed from the document processing device 10, but an operation of transmitting the ticket for which the order has been confirmed from the document processing device 10 may be regarded as the notification. At this time, the document processing apparatus 10 no longer needs to perform the notification.

In the present embodiment, since the notification of completion of the registration confirmation of the ticket and the fact that only the addition of the new document is externally received during the execution of the document registration confirmation processing, the process proceeds to step S101 when the other notification is received (N in step S112).

As described above, according to the present embodiment, when a document is newly additionally registered in a specific document storage area while a user is executing a document confirmation and correction job, the new document can be displayed on the document confirmation and correction screen 34 without displaying the document selection screen 31 shown in fig. 3 and causing the user to select the document to be displayed on the document confirmation and correction screen 34.

In the document processing system shown in fig. 1, a document confirmation and correction processing unit 12 is provided in the document processing apparatus 10 in order to allow a user using the document processing apparatus 10 to perform a document confirmation and correction operation. But the system architecture need not be so limited.

For example, the components 11 to 13 and the component 15 other than the user interface processing unit 14 are provided in the document management server 20. Since the document storage part 22 is provided in the document management server 20, the document storage part 16 is not required. The document processing apparatus 10 may be configured such that the document selection screen 31, the document confirmation correction screen 34, and the pop-up screen 51 provided with the function of confirming the correction in the document management server 20 are displayed on the display of the document processing apparatus 10 by a browser (browser).

In the above embodiments, the processor is a processor in a broad sense, and includes a general-purpose processor (e.g., a Central Processing Unit (CPU)) or a special-purpose processor (e.g., a Graphics Processing Unit (GPU), an Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC), a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA), a Programmable logic device, etc.).

Moreover, the actions of the processors in the embodiments may be performed not only by one processor but also by a plurality of processors located at physically separate locations in cooperation. The order of operations of the processor is not limited to the order described in the above embodiments, and may be changed as appropriate.
