The five-wheel gearbox comprises an input shaft 1, a reverse intermediate shaft 2 and an output shaft 3. The rear end of the input shaft 1 is connected to the engine through the clutch, and the front end of the output shaft 3 is connected to the fifth wheel 7. The input shaft 1 is provided with a reverse gear driving gear 11, a high gear driving gear 12 and a low gear driving gear 13. And a reverse intermediate gear 21 meshed with the reverse driving gear 11 is arranged on the reverse intermediate shaft 2. The output shaft 3 is provided with a reverse driven gear 31, a high driven gear 32 and a low driven gear 33 which are respectively engaged with the reverse intermediate gear 21, the high driving gear 12 and the low driving gear 13. A first engaging sleeve 34 is arranged on one side of the reverse driven gear 31, only a second engaging sleeve 35 is arranged between the high-gear driven gear 32 and the low-gear driven gear 33, and a first shifting fork 36 and a second shifting fork 37 for controlling the first engaging sleeve 34 and the second engaging sleeve 35 to move back and forth are respectively arranged on the first engaging sleeve and the second engaging sleeve. The power of an engine of the tractor is transmitted to an input shaft 1 of the five-wheel gearbox through a clutch, a high-gear driven gear 32 and a low-gear driven gear 33 are driven to rotate through the rotation of a high-gear driving gear 12 and a low-gear driving gear 13 on the input shaft 1 so as to drive an output shaft 3 to rotate, and a second shifting fork 37 is used for controlling a second meshing sleeve 35 to move back and forth to output a low gear or a high gear respectively. The reverse gear driving gear 11 on the input shaft 1 drives the reverse gear intermediate gear 21 to rotate, and further drives the reverse gear driven gear 31 to rotate, and the first shifting fork 36 controls the first meshing sleeve 34 to move back and forth to control the gear engagement or gear shifting of the reverse gear. Therefore, the fifth wheel 7 of the present invention can output two forward gears of high gear and low gear and one reverse gear, and can basically meet the gear requirement when the fifth wheel 7 of the tractor turns.

The front end of the output shaft 3 is connected to an axle 4 provided with a fifth wheel 7 through a universal joint 5, and the fifth wheel 7 can ascend or descend around the universal joint 5 under the action of a lifting device. When the tractor runs in a straight line, the fifth wheel 7 is lifted by the lifting device, and the tractor performs normal forward or backward operation; when the tractor needs to turn, particularly needs to turn on the spot or needs to turn in a narrow distance, the fifth wheel 7 is descended by utilizing the lifting device until the front wheel of the tractor is suspended in the air, and then the tractor is turned by matching with different gears of the fifth wheel 7 output by the five-speed gearbox.

As shown in fig. 2, the second embodiment of the present invention is different from the first embodiment described above in that: the reverse driven gear 31 is disposed near the front end of the output shaft 3, and the first sleeve 34 is disposed on the rear side of the reverse driven gear 31.

In the description of the present invention, the terms "front" and "rear" are used with reference to the orientation of the tractor only for the purpose of simplifying the description of the present invention, and should not be construed as limiting the present invention.
