s2, performing simulated cutting on the reconstructed trapezium bone model of the healthy volunteer to determine the optimal cutting path, and cutting off the proximal end 3/4 along the direction vertical to the central axis of the trapezium bone model;

s3, performing simulated cutting on the reconstructed trapezium model of the patient, determining the optimal cutting path, and cutting off the far end 1/4 along the direction vertical to the central axis of the trapezium model;

Technical Field

The invention relates to the field of medical supplies, in particular to a prosthesis for partially replacing a trapezium bone and a manufacturing method thereof.

Background

Osteoarthritis is one of the common diseases of the middle-aged and the elderly. The most common site of hand osteoarthritis is the first carpometacarpal joint. Statistically, up to 8% of men and 25% of women over the age of 50 have degenerative arthritis of the thumb carpometacarpal (CMC). CMC arthritis imaging mainly manifests as narrow joint spaces, marginal sclerotin sclerosis and osteophyte; the main clinical manifestations are pain and weakness of the first carpometacarpal joint, and the serious one has subluxation of the joint, reduced mobility or stiffness, which causes the mobility of the thumb to decrease, especially the grip strength and pinching strength to decrease.

For the above CMC diseases, when the drug therapy is ineffective, surgical intervention is required, and depending on the state of illness, in the last 30 years, there have been many studies on the surgical mode of CMC arthritis at home and abroad, mainly depending on the different stages of disease progression, including fixation of trapezium with or without loop steel plate for partial or complete resection, with or without pseudoarthroplasty, tendon stuffing, joint replacement, joint fusion, acellular matrix filling, etc.

However, the above-mentioned surgical approaches each have drawbacks: by using the silica gel prosthesis filling technology, complications such as synovitis around joints, prosthesis falling and the like occur after operation. After CMC fusion, fusion failure exists to a certain extent, and the non-healing rate after the fusion can reach 13%. In addition, elderly patients rarely have isolated carpal and metacarpal arthritis, and there is a risk of developing scaphoid and trapezium osteoarthritis after fusion. The space left after the removal of the trapezium bone brings potential hidden troubles for the sinking of the first metacarpal bone, and further influences the stability of the postoperative joint structure. Additional studies have shown that distal scaphoid instability can be caused following a trapezoidectomy, leading to secondary instability of the non-detachable dorsal insertion segment wrist joint.

A method for manufacturing a partially replaced trapezium prosthesis comprises the following steps:

The invention has the beneficial effects that: the invention can partially replace part of trapezium bones in hand osteoarthritis, can be well matched with the size and the curved surface of the basal articular surface of the first metacarpal bone of a patient, thereby well keeping the stability of the wrist joint structure, preventing the first metacarpal bone from sinking, relieving joint pain and increasing joint movement.
