An acrylic bathtub is made of PMMA (organic glass) plastic materials, and the body of the acrylic bathtub is formed by compounding a surface layer (acrylic layer) and an inner layer (glass fiber resin reinforced layer). It features rich shape, light weight, good surface finish and low cost. In the manufacturing process, a plastic suction forming mold made of aluminum alloy or resin mold is generally used, and resin coating and adhesion are performed after forming and demolding, so that the strength of a formed product is enhanced. Then, the processes of trimming, punching, polishing and the like are carried out. And then, installing a bracket made of materials such as solid wood, plastics or steel structures in the formed bathtub, and finishing the assembly of the spray head, the water pipe, the electric appliance and the like in the formed bathtub.

As shown in fig. 2, the fan-shaped bathtub 1 just after the plastic forming process is provided with a convex part 11 on the front side, correspondingly, a convex cavity with the same shape as the convex part 11 is arranged on the rear side of the convex part 11 in the inner cavity 12 of the bathtub 1 to increase the using space of the bathtub, and a massage nozzle can be arranged on the convex part 11 to spray water into the inner cavity of the bathtub 1. However, there is currently no production mould that can produce such a bath.

Detailed Description

The present invention provides a bathtub mold, and in order to make the objects, technical solutions and effects of the present invention clearer and clearer, the present invention will be described in further detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings and examples. It should be understood that the specific embodiments described herein are merely illustrative of the invention and are not intended to limit the invention.

Here, the opening direction of the molding cavity 21 of the fixed mold 2 is set to be upward (or top), and the installation direction of the movable mold 3 with respect to the molding cavity 21 is set to be forward.

Referring to fig. 1, the present invention provides a bathtub mold for manufacturing a sector-shaped bathtub 1 made of an acrylic plate having a convex portion 11 on the front side as shown in fig. 2. The bathtub mold includes a movable mold 3 made of an aluminum alloy, and a fixed mold 2 made of a resin such as an epoxy resin.

As shown in fig. 1 and 3, the fixed mold 2 is provided with a molding cavity 21 for bathtub plastic molding; the movable mould 3 is attached to the fixed mould 2 and positioned at the front side of the fixed mould 2, the movable mould 3 can be directly placed on the fixed mould 2 and attached to the fixed mould, and the stable state can be kept so as to facilitate the plastic suction molding process of the bathtub. The movable mold 3 and the fixed mold 2 together form a convex cavity 22 which is located at the front side of the molding cavity 21 and is communicated with the molding cavity 21.

As shown in fig. 1, 2, and 3, when the movable mold 3 is placed on the fixed mold 2 and is tightly attached to the fixed mold 2, the plastic suction molding is performed on the bathtub mold using a heat-softened acrylic plate. After the plastic suction molding process, the convex part 11 matched with the convex cavity 22 is integrally molded on the front side of the manufactured bathtub 1, so that the use space of the inner cavity of the bathtub 1 can be increased, and the massage spray head can be arranged on the convex part 11.

After the plastic suction molding process is finished, when the molded bathtub is lifted up slightly, the convex part 11 can jack up the movable mold 3, so that a worker can take the movable mold 3 away by hands, and then the bathtub can be lifted up.

As shown in fig. 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6, specifically, the movable mold 3 includes a first movable mold 31 and a second movable mold 32, which are attached to each other; a vertically arranged clamping portion 323 is convexly formed on one end face of the second movable mold 32, and a groove 312 matched and connected with the clamping portion 323 is correspondingly formed on the end face of the first movable mold 31. More specifically, the locking portion 323 has a semicircular or semi-elliptical shape in a plan view.

As shown in fig. 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6, specifically, the bottom surface of the movable mold 3 is provided with a slot along the length direction thereof, wherein the first movable mold 31 is provided with a slot 313, and the second movable mold 32 is provided with a slot 322. The fixed mold 2 is correspondingly provided with a clamping strip 24 which is integrally formed and is matched and connected with the clamping groove 313 and the clamping groove 322. The cross-sectional shape of the snap strip 24 may be semicircular, semi-elliptical, right triangular, or other shape. Through setting up draw-in groove and card strip, make movable mould 3 can place on fixed mould 2 with stable state. A snap strip 24 is provided on the front side of the protruding cavity 22.

As shown in fig. 3, 4, 5, and 6, specifically, vertically arranged guide portions are formed on two end surfaces of the movable mold 3 in a protruding manner, wherein the first movable mold 31 is provided with the guide portion 311, and the second movable mold 32 is provided with the guide portion 321. The fixed die 2 is correspondingly provided with a guide groove 23 which is matched and connected with the guide part 311 and the guide part 321. Through the setting of guide part and guide way, carry on spacingly to movable mould 3, make movable mould 3 can only reciprocate.

As shown in fig. 3, 4, 5, and 6, more specifically, the guide portions 311 and 321 are provided on the rear side of the card bar 24. The guide portions 311 and 321 are semicircular or semi-elliptical in plan view.

As shown in fig. 3, 4, 5, and 6, the first movable mold 31 and the second movable mold 32 are L-shaped when viewed from the front. The bottom surface of the first movable mold 31 is provided with a supporting portion 314, the width of the supporting portion 324 is consistent with that of the convex cavity 22, the bottom surface of the supporting portion 314 is in seamless fit with the supporting surface 25 of the fixed mold 2, and similarly, the bottom surface of the supporting portion 324 is in seamless fit with the supporting surface of the fixed mold 2.

In conclusion, the invention provides a bathtub mould which has a unique structure and is simple to use, a bathtub with a convex part at the front side can be manufactured through a plastic suction forming process, and the phenomenon that a movable mould cannot be easily separated from a fixed mould due to thermal deformation is prevented, so that the formed bathtub can be quickly taken out.
