Technical Field

The invention relates to the technical field of internal combustion engines, in particular to a sealing gasket for an engine exhaust system.

Background

The exhaust system is an important component of the engine, and with the continuous upgrading of the engine emission, when the engine works, the temperature of high-temperature exhaust gas exhausted from a combustion chamber is higher and higher, and high-temperature gas firstly enters an exhaust manifold through a cylinder cover exhaust passage, then enters a supercharger, finally passes through a supercharger vortex, then enters an exhaust pipeline, and enters the atmosphere after being treated by a catalytic silencer. In order to ensure the normal work and safety of the engine and prevent the leaked high-temperature gas from damaging other parts of the engine and causing damage to human bodies due to high temperature, sealing gaskets with high temperature resistance and good reliability are required to be arranged at the connection parts of the exhaust system.

The sealing gasket structure of the current common exhaust system mainly comprises:

1. a single-layer metal gasket is adopted, and sealing ribs are arranged on the periphery of the exhaust port.

2. As shown in figure 4, four layers of metal gaskets which are welded in an overlapped mode are respectively provided with convex arc sealing ribs facing a sealing surface, the four layers of stainless steel gaskets with the same size structure are welded together, the scheme is high in cost, the requirement on the pretightening force of an exhaust system is high, the surface pressure of the sealing rib is high, and the risk that the sealing surface is dented to cause air leakage exists in the working process.

3. As shown in FIG. 5, two layers of metal gaskets adopting stitch welding are respectively provided with convex arc sealing ribs facing a sealing surface, and two gaskets with the same structure are welded together through uniform welding points.

At present, the following problem exists in current exhaust system seal gasket:

1. is easily ablated at high temperature, thereby causing fatigue failure.

2. The requirement on the pretightening force of an exhaust system is high, the surface pressure of the sealing rib part is too high, and the risk of air leakage caused by the fact that the sealing surface is dented exists in the work process.

Disclosure of Invention

Aiming at the problems in the prior art, the invention provides a sealing gasket for an engine exhaust system, which not only solves the problem of air leakage caused by gasket ablation or gasket sealing rib fatigue failure caused by high temperature, but also reduces the risk of air leakage caused by the fact that a sealing surface is dented due to overhigh surface pressure of a sealing rib part.

In order to achieve the purpose, the technical scheme of the invention is as follows:

a sealing gasket for an engine exhaust system comprises a first layer gasket, a limiting layer gasket, a second layer gasket, an exhaust hole and a bolt mounting hole, wherein the first layer gasket, the limiting layer gasket and the second layer gasket are stacked from top to bottom, the exhaust hole and the bolt mounting hole penetrate through the sealing gasket,

the first layer of gasket and the second layer of gasket are respectively provided with an upper concave arc-shaped sealing rib and a lower concave arc-shaped sealing rib, and the concave bottom of the upper concave arc-shaped sealing rib is abutted against the concave bottom of the lower concave arc-shaped sealing rib and surrounds the exhaust hole;

the limiting layer gasket is arranged on the outer sides of the upper concave arc-shaped sealing rib and the lower concave arc-shaped sealing rib;

the bolt mounting hole is formed in the contact area of the limiting layer gasket and the first layer gasket and the second layer gasket;

the first layer of gasket, the limiting layer of gasket and the second layer of gasket are all metal gaskets.

Furthermore, the first layer of gasket and the second layer of gasket are respectively provided with an upper half concave rib and a lower half concave rib,

the upper semi-concave rib surrounds the upper concave arc-shaped sealing rib, and the outer side of the upper semi-concave rib is inwards concave and is in contact with the limiting layer gasket;

the lower semi-concave rib surrounds the lower concave arc-shaped sealing rib, and the outer side of the lower semi-concave rib is inwards concave and is in contact with the limiting layer gasket.

Compared with the prior art, the invention has the following beneficial effects:

1. the sealing gasket for the engine exhaust system is provided with a limiting layer gasket, the bolt pressing force is mainly concentrated at the limiting layer part, the upper concave arc-shaped sealing rib and the lower concave arc-shaped sealing rib are not completely flattened, two sealing lines can be formed at the contact part of the sealing surface, the pressing force can be kept unchanged, the fatigue failure risk of the sealing rib is reduced, the resilience performance of the gasket is ensured, the problem of air leakage caused by fatigue failure of the sealing rib of the gasket is solved, and meanwhile, the risk of air leakage caused by indentation of the sealing surface due to overhigh surface pressure at the sealing rib part can be reduced;

2. under the high-temperature alternating working condition, if the bolt pressing force is attenuated, the pressing force at the position of the limiting layer is firstly attenuated, and the pressure values at the upper concave arc-shaped sealing rib and the lower concave arc-shaped sealing rib are not basically attenuated, so that the leakage risk caused by the ablation of the gasket due to the leakage of high-temperature gas is prevented.

3. Even the sealed muscle of indent arc has slight seepage, the setting still can prevent high-temperature gas leakage at the first layer of muscle of spacing layer gasket top and the second layer of muscle of below second layer gasket, forms multichannel sealed line, effectively reduces the gas leakage risk.

4. Spacing layer gasket and the welding of first layer gasket and second floor gasket have strengthened spacing layer gasket and first layer gasket and second floor gasket joint strength, reduce the gas leakage risk.

Fig. 1 is a top view of a sealing gasket of an engine exhaust system, wherein an exhaust hole 7 and a bolt mounting hole 6 are arranged on the sealing gasket in a penetrating way, and a mounting bolt penetrates through the bolt mounting hole 6 to connect the sealing gasket and a required sealing part together.

Referring to fig. 2 and fig. 3, the sealing gasket is formed by stacking three layers of gaskets, namely a first layer gasket 1, a limiting layer gasket 3 and a second layer gasket 2 from top to bottom, wherein the first layer gasket 1, the limiting layer gasket 3 and the second layer gasket 2 are all metal gaskets. Wherein, the first layer gasket 1 and the second layer gasket 2 are respectively provided with an upper concave arc-shaped sealing rib 41 and a lower concave arc-shaped sealing rib 42 around the exhaust hole 7, the concave bottom of the upper concave arc-shaped sealing rib 41 is vertically abutted with the bottom of the lower concave arc-shaped sealing rib 42 to prevent the exhaust hole 7 from air leakage, the spacing layer gasket 3 is arranged at the outer side of the upper concave arc-shaped sealing rib 41 and the lower concave arc-shaped sealing rib 42, the bolt mounting hole 6 is arranged at the contact area of the spacing layer gasket 3 and the first layer gasket 1 and the second layer gasket 2, the bolt pressing force is mainly concentrated at the position of the spacing layer gasket 3, the upper concave arc-shaped sealing rib 41 and the lower concave arc-shaped sealing rib 42 are not completely flattened, the risk that the sealing surface is dented to cause air leakage due to overhigh surface pressure at the sealing rib position can be reduced, and two, and can guarantee that the packing force keeps unchangeable and reduce sealed muscle fatigue failure risk, guarantee the resilience performance of gasket, solve the problem that the sealed muscle fatigue failure of gasket leads to leaking gas. Preferably, an upper half concave rib 51 and a lower half concave rib 52 are further arranged on the first-layer gasket 1 and the second-layer gasket 2, the upper half concave rib 51 surrounds the upper concave arc-shaped sealing rib 41, and the outer side of the upper half concave rib 51 is concave inwards and is in contact with the limiting-layer gasket 3; the lower half concave rib 52 surrounds the lower concave arc-shaped sealing rib 42, and the outer side of the lower half concave rib 52 is concave inwards and is in contact with the limiting layer gasket 3. As preferred scheme, spacing layer gasket 3 respectively with first layer gasket 1 and the welding of second layer gasket 2, strengthen spacing layer gasket 3 and first layer gasket 1 and the joint strength of second layer gasket 2, reduce the risk of leaking gas.
