Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of maintenance of water equipment, in particular to a floating dock with a movable ship board and a method for maintaining a ship bottom plate.
Background
For marine facilities, such as FPSOs (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) or ships. Due to the particularity of the aquatic environment, with the increase of service time of aquatic equipment, or the damage of a paint coating or structural deformation, corrosion is easy to generate, and according to the relevant standards, if the ship bottom plate is locally and obviously corroded, the ship bottom plate is not corroded in a pitting mode, and the corrosion rate reaches more than 25%, the ship bottom plate needs to be replaced. Whereas the replacement of the conventional hull bottom deck necessitates dry dock maintenance. A conservative estimated loss cost of $ 4.3 million, not including the cost of a production facility's readiness, can take at least 3 months to dry dock if only a certain offshore field produces 8 million barrels of crude oil per day, and $ 60 per barrel of oil. The economic loss caused by the maintenance of the overwater equipment in the dry dock is high.
Therefore, there is a need to provide a new movable deck repair floating dock to solve the above problems.
