Technical Field

The present invention relates to a stirrer for machines for making and dispensing liquid or semi-liquid food products, in particular ice cream or cold confectionery products, and hot confectionery or cooked food products, and to a machine for making such products comprising such a stirrer.

Background

In particular, in the present description, reference will be made, by way of example and without limiting the scope of the invention, to a machine for making and dispensing a product of the ice-and-sand crushed-ice beverage type.

These types of machines generally have a tank, i.e. in other words a container, in which a cooling cylinder is positioned, on which a stirrer is mounted, which is suitable to be driven in rotation to make the finished product.

A particularly strong need for this type of machine is to be able to provide a stirrer whose elements are relatively easy to replace if worn or necessary and which is relatively easy to clean.

Moreover, a particularly strong need for this type of machine is to be able to provide an agitator whose scraping is particularly effective: indeed, it is known that ice can accumulate on the walls of the cooling cylinder, limiting or at least reducing the amount of ice necessary for successful processing, which may cause the rotation of the stirrer to be substandard and lead to a reduced heat exchange with the cooling system.

Disclosure of Invention

It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a stirrer for machines for manufacturing and dispensing liquid or semi-liquid products which meets the above requirements.

In particular, it is an object of the invention to provide a beater in which the disassembly of the components for cleaning and maintenance is easier and faster.

The indicated technical purpose and the specified purposes are substantially achieved by a whisk for machines for making and dispensing ice cream products, comprising the technical features set forth in the independent claim 1.

Detailed Description

Reference numeral 1 in figure 1 denotes in its entirety a beater according to the present invention.

In particular, the whisk 1 is of the type inserted in a machine 100 for making ice cream or cold confectionery products, such as an ice-making machine or a machine for making ice cream, soft ice cream, sorbets (sorbets) or the like.

Preferably, the machine 100 is suitable for making smoothies, soft-serve ice creams, sorbets, ice creams, etc., or hot products (pastry and delicatessen products).

The machine 100 for making liquid or semi-liquid products comprises:

a container 12 for containing a liquid or semi-liquid product;

a heat treatment cylinder 13 housed inside the container 12;

a thermal system comprising a heat exchanger 14 associated with the thermal treatment cylinder 13.

The thermal system is preferably of the thermodynamic type.

Preferably, the system is configured to remove heat from the product inside the container 12 through the heat exchanger 14.

The stirrer 1 is located inside the vessel 12 and is mounted outside the (rotating) heat treatment cylinder 13.

In fact, it can be seen how, in use, the stirrer 1 is positioned inside the container 12 in contact with the product to be worked.

Preferably, the container 12 for containing the liquid or semi-liquid product is inclined (with respect to the vertical).

Preferably, the heat treatment cylinder 13 housed inside the container 12 is inclined (with respect to the vertical), that is, its axis is inclined with respect to the vertical.

In this specification, the term "element is inclined" with respect to the vertical direction means that the element forms an angle other than zero with respect to the vertical direction.

It should be noted that preferably a drive unit is connected to the beater 1 for driving rotation thereof.

The stirrer 1 allows the product inside the container 12 to be well stirred, allowing the finished product to be made.

In particular, the stirrer 1 also has the task of scraping the external surface of the cooling cylinder 13, in order to prevent the formation of ice thereon, so as to treat the product being worked in an optimal manner.

According to another aspect, the whisk 1 of a machine for making and dispensing ice cream products rotates about an axis X, which forms the subject of the present invention, the whisk 1 comprising:

a first end element 2 and a second end element 3;

a longitudinal element 4 extending along the axis X between the first end element 2 and the second end element 3;

-a scraping element 5 removably coupled with the longitudinal element 4, the scraping element 5 having a partially helical portion 8.

It should be noted that the longitudinal element 4 is connected to the first end element 2 and the second end element 3.

This portion 8 essentially has the task of pushing and moving the product present inside the container 12.

Preferably, those longitudinal elements 4 are rods.

According to another aspect, the scraping element 5 is provided with a first engaging element 6.

It should be noted that the portion 8 of the scraping element 5 substantially defines a discontinuous helix, that is to say, extends in discontinuous stretches.

According to another aspect, each scraping element 5 is provided with a plurality of elastically deformable locking elements 10 adapted to allow the scraping element 5 to be maintained in a predetermined position with respect to the longitudinal element 4 when the scraping element 5 has been removably coupled to the longitudinal element 4.

Preferably, the locking element 10 is defined by a (hook-shaped) protrusion.

Fig. 10 shows the coupling between the scraping element 5 and the longitudinal element 4.

As clearly shown in fig. 9, it can be seen how the scraping element 5, in use, faces the locking element 10 outwards.

The lower surface of the longitudinal element 4 is positioned, in use, in contact with the face 5A of the scraping element 5.

The following is a description of the geometry of the scraping element 5.

Preferably, the longitudinal elements 4 have a prismatic shape.

More precisely, the scraping element 5 has a frustoconical shape: it has two side walls 12A and 12B joined by a wall 5A.

Locking elements 10 are formed at the ends of side walls 12A and 12B.

More precisely, each scraping element 5 has four locking elements 10: two at wall 12A and two at wall 12B.

According to another aspect, the first end element 2 and the second end element 3 have an annular shape.

According to another aspect, the first end element 2, the second end element 3, the longitudinal element 4 and the scraping element 5 are made of plastic material.

It should be noted that each scraping element 5 is provided with a scraping edge 15, which scraping edge 15 is adapted to be in contact with the outer surface of the treatment cylinder 13 in order to remove and prevent the formation of an ice layer.

Advantageously, the scraping element 5 can be removed relatively easily for cleaning and maintenance.

The following is a description of other aspects of the machine 100 according to the present invention.

A container 12 for containing a liquid or semi-liquid product is defined by a first inner wall 200. The inner wall 200 is made as a single element (preferably made of plastic material).

Furthermore, a container 12 for containing a liquid or semi-liquid product is defined by the second outer wall 201.

This second external wall 201 is made as a single element (preferably made of plastic material).

The second outer wall 201 surrounds the first wall 200 (as clearly shown in fig. 3 and 4).

A gap is formed between the first wall and the second wall.

This gap allows for an increase in the thermal resistance (of the thermal conduction) of the heat transfer between the product contained in the container 12 and the external environment.

In other words, advantageously, the thermal insulation of the container 12 with respect to the surrounding environment is improved.

According to another aspect, the first inner wall 200 forms part of (or is defined by) a first element and the second outer wall 201 forms part of (or is defined by) a second element into which the first element can be inserted.

As shown in fig. 3 and 4, in use, the container 12 has a double wall.

The second outer wall 201 also comprises a lever 202 that can be actuated to allow the release of the product contained in the container 12.

The lever 202 operatively acts on a valve 203 adapted to allow the opening and closing of the passage of the duct 204 for the outflow of the liquid or semi-liquid product from the container 12.

The following is a more in-depth description of the tap, i.e. the dispenser 210 of the machine 1 according to the invention.

According to the embodiment shown in fig. 11, the dispenser 210 comprises a lever 202, the lever 202 being connected to a tubular body 213 (which is also part of the dispenser 210).

The tubular body 213 is engaged in a seat 212, the seat 212 being formed in a projection 214 connected to the container 12.

Thus, the seat 212 is adapted to be engaged by the tubular body 213.

The tubular body 213 is provided with an opening 211, the function of which will be described in more detail below.

It should be noted that movement (preferably rotation) of tubular body 213 allows opening 211 of tubular body 213 to be positioned facing (in fluid communication with) a space within interior wall 200 in which a product being processed is contained.

In other words, the tubular body 213 is movable between a first open position, in which the opening 211 of the tubular body faces (is in fluid communication with) the space inside the inner wall 200, in which the product to be processed is contained, and a closed position, in which the tubular body blocks the duct 204 (the opening 211 does not face the space inside the container 12).

In this way, the tubular body 213 is moved (in particular rotated) by means of the lever 202 fixed thereto, which allows dispensing the product contained inside the container 12.

It should also be noted that the opening 211 has a concave shape provided with peaks 215 and valleys.

The concave shape allows dispensing of liquid or semi-liquid food products (ice cream) according to a predetermined shape.

Fig. 12A and 12B show a further embodiment of a dispenser 210 of the machine 1.

It should be noted that according to this embodiment, the dispenser 210 comprises a lever 202 connected to a control body 217. The control body 217 operates a separator element 216 (also part of the dispenser 210) which closes or opens the outlet conduit 204 for the liquid or semi-liquid product coming from the container 12.

In this case, the rotation of the lever 202 also causes the duct 204 to open (and therefore the product to flow out of the container 12).

The separator element 216 is provided with a protuberance allowing to close or open the outlet conduit 204 for the liquid or semi-liquid product from the container 12.

The lever 202 is preferably rotatably connected to a projection 214 of the container 12.

According to another aspect, the container 12 is inclined with respect to a vertical axis.

More precisely, the container 12 defines a space with an inclination (other than zero) with respect to the vertical axis.

It should be noted that the heat treatment cylinder 13 described previously is located inside the container 12.
