Technical Field

The invention relates to compositions for preventing or treating scars and a preparation method thereof.

Background

The epidermis is divided into a horny layer, a granular layer, a spinous cell layer and a basal layer in order from the outside to the inside, and the cells between the horny layers function like bricks, and lipids between the corneocytes function like mortar, thereby constituting a skin barrier.

In addition, scars are a brief concept and a common name of morphological and histopathological changes in normal skin tissue due to various injuries. It refers to a tissue that has the abnormal disadvantage of losing normal tissue viability and losing normal skin tissue structure or physiological function as a result of normal and essential physiological responses during natural recovery of the wound or wound surface and as a result of the wound healing process. Scars not only are detrimental to the aesthetic appearance of the body surface, but also inhibit the physiological function of the associated organ or tissue.

Since the scar remedy used in the past contains silicon and has a transparent appearance, it cannot cover scars or wounds, and therefore, it is inconvenient to apply a separate dressing to cover scars or wounds after applying the scar remedy so as not to impair the beauty of the skin surface.

Therefore, there is a need to investigate stable dosage forms containing pigment substances to cover scars or wounds so as not to affect the aesthetic appearance of the skin surface and to be able to treat scars without toxicity.

Means for solving the problems

An embodiment of the present invention provides a skin external preparation composition for preventing or treating scars, which comprises a pigment and a silicone oil.

In the present invention, the term "scar" may refer to fibrous tissue that replaces normal tissue damaged by injury or disease. Lesions in the outer layers of the skin are healed by reconstruction of the tissue, in which case scar formation can be minimal. However, in case a thick layer of tissue under the skin is damaged, the reconstruction of the damaged tissue is more complicated. The body accumulates collagen fibers (naturally occurring proteins in the body), which often results in significant scarring.

The scar may be hypertrophic scar (hypertrophic scar), keloid scar (keloid scar), atrophic scar (atropic scar), striae gravidarum (stretch marks), or a combination thereof.

Hypertrophic scars are raised scars that remain within the confines of the original lesion, and can usually degenerate naturally after initial injury, hypertrophic scars are hard, raised, red, itchy, painful, and can contract.

Keloid is a benign fibrous proliferation of the dermis that occurs after skin trauma. It protrudes from the skin surface and spreads out beyond the original affected area. Such scars are permanent and do not degrade over time. Keloid scars affect the appearance and can also be associated with pain.

He is usually small and is generally circular with a saw-tooth shape or with an inverted center (inverted center). surgery, trauma, acne and chickenpox can lead to the formation of atrophic scars.

Stretch marks typically occur within three weeks of surgery where the fine lines of the surgical scar are gradually stretched and widened.

In this specification, the term "wound" refers to a wound in which tissue is cut (cut), torn (torn), crushed (broken), burned (burned) or traumatized (traumatized), or an injury to the human body (injuryy) that occurs as a result of an injury or disease that induces such injury, the wound may be an open wound (open) or an unopened closed wound (closed) as examples of which may include epidermis (epidemis) of the skin, dermis (epidermis), epidermis and dermis, or wounds in which epidermis, dermis and subcutaneous fat layers are damaged.

In this specification, the term "treatment" of a scar may refer to a healing scar that is in a shorter time than a natural healing.

Such scar treatment may include amelioration and/or alleviation of scars, scar related diseases. Also, the above-mentioned scar treatment may refer to the healing and/or regeneration of damaged tissue induced by a wound. The scar treatment may include regeneration of the skin. Also, the treatment may be to maintain the original composition of the damaged tissue. Also, it is known that such treatment minimizes complications and/or scarring of the wound-related disease, promoting healing and/or regeneration of such damaged tissue.

Also, the composition is effective in removing skin scars from an individual to reduce at least items of wound size, scar area, and collagen formation in a wound, and can effectively cover a wound or a scar on the skin surface, thereby having excellent scar coverage, as compared to a control group not using the composition.

In the composition for external skin preparation, the pigment may include or more selected from the group consisting of titanium dioxide (titanium dioxide), Zinc Oxide (Zinc Oxide), Iron Oxide (Iron Oxide), Aluminum Hydroxide (Aluminum Hydroxide), Ultramarine (Ultramarine), Ferric Ferrocyanide (Ferric Ferrocyanide), Ferric ammonium Ferrocyanide (Ferric Ferrocyanide), Chromium Oxide Green (Chromium Oxide Greens), Chromium Hydroxide Green (Chromium Hydroxide Green), Mica (Mica), carbon Black (carbon Black), Manganese Violet (Manganese Violet), and Carmine (Carmine), but not limited thereto.

The above composition can cover scars or wounds of the skin by containing the above pigments.

In the skin external agent composition according to the specific example of , about 1 weight percent to about 30 weight percent, about 1 weight percent to about 25 weight percent, about 1 weight percent to about 23 weight percent, about 1 weight percent to about 20 weight percent, about 1 weight percent to about 19 weight percent, about 1 weight percent to about 19.5 weight percent, about 1 weight percent to about 19.3 weight percent, about 1 weight percent to about 19.1 weight percent, about 1 weight percent to about 19 weight percent, about 3 weight percent to about 30 weight percent, about 3 weight percent to about 25 weight percent, about 3 weight percent to about 23 weight percent, about 3 weight percent to about 20 weight percent, about 3 weight percent to about 19 weight percent, about 3 weight percent to about 19.5 weight percent, about 3 weight percent to about 19.3 weight percent, about 3 weight percent to about 19.1 weight percent, about 19 weight percent to about 19 weight percent, about 19 weight percent to about 10 weight percent, about 5 weight percent to about 10 weight percent, about 19 to about 10 weight percent, about 10 to about 10 weight percent, about 19.8 to about 19 to about 10 weight percent, about 19 to about 8 weight percent, about 19 to about 10 weight percent, about 5 to about 10 to about 8 weight percent, about 19.8 to about 5 to about 10 percent, about 10 weight percent, about 5 to about 10 percent, about 10 to about 10 percent, about 8 to about 5 to about 10 percent, about 8 to about 10 percent, about 5 to about 10 percent, about 8 to about 5 to about 10 percent, by weight percent, about 5 to about 8 to about 5 to about 10 percent, by weight percent, about 8 to about 10 percent, about 8 percent, about 10 percent, about 5 to about 10 percent, by weight percent, about 10 percent, about 1 weight percent, about 5 to about 5 percent, about 5 to about 8 percent, about 10 percent, about 5 to about 1 weight percent, a pigment.

When the amount is outside the above range, for example, if too little pigment is contained, the effect of covering scars may be insufficient, and if too much pigment is contained, the appearance of skin may be impaired due to the pigment deposited on the skin. For example, when more than about 2.5 weight percent iron oxide is included relative to the total weight of the composition, pigment deposition on the skin may be observed.

In the embodiment of the invention, the colorant is dispersed in the silicone oil prior to mixing with the silicone oil.

In the example according to the present invention, the above dispersion can be achieved by a milling (milling) process, the pigment is dispersed in the silicone oil by the milling process, the pigment is uniformly dispersed in the composition and pulverized, and thus the formulation is a stable formulation, and when applied to the skin, has excellent spreadability and spreadability without causing a blocking phenomenon.

In the composition for external preparations for skin, the silicone oil may be colorless silicone oil, and when colorless silicone oil is used for scars, since colorless silicone oil does not cover scars due to its non-covering power, any colorless silicone oil that covers skin or scars by formulating with pigments may be used according to the embodiment, silicon may include one selected from the group consisting of Dimethicone (Dimethicone), silicone-11 (polysilone-11), silicone-15 (polysilone-15), silicone-8 (polysilone-8), silicone-17 (polysilone-17), hydrogenated Dimethicone (hydrodimethicone), Lauryl Dimethicone (lauryldimethione), Cyclopentasiloxane (Cyclopentasiloxane), Cyclohexasiloxane (cyclohexosiloxane), Trisiloxane (Trisiloxane), methylpolymethicone (MethylTrimethicone), phenyl Methicone (phenylmethicone), Methicone (Methicone), Dimethicone methyl acetate, Dimethicone methyl ether, Dimethicone copolyol, Dimethicone, and one or more but not limited to these.

The above composition may contain silicone oil to prevent or treat scars by forming a film on the skin.

In the skin external agent composition according to the embodiment of , the silicone oil may be included in an amount of about 70 weight percent to about 99 weight percent, about 70 weight percent to about 95 weight percent, about 70 weight percent to about 90 weight percent, about 70 weight percent to about 85 weight percent, about 70 weight percent to about 80 weight percent, about 75 weight percent to about 99 weight percent, about 75 weight percent to about 95 weight percent, about 75 weight percent to about 90 weight percent, about 75 weight percent to about 85 weight percent, or about 75 weight percent to about 80 weight percent, relative to the total weight of the composition.

If the amount is outside the above range, the pigment may not be uniformly dispersed or the agglomeration phenomenon may occur, which may result in a decrease in the applicability or a decrease in the scar preventing or treating effect.

The composition for external skin preparations may further include a UV blocker, the UV blocker may be included at about 5 to about 20 weight% with respect to the entire composition, and the effect of preventing or treating wounds or scars may be promoted by further including a UV blocker in the composition, so that the wounds or scars are prevented from being directly exposed to UV rays, among the pigments, titanium dioxide or zinc oxide may function as a UV blocker, examples of the UV blocker may include ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, isoamyl p-methoxycinnamate, bis-ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine, octocrylene, methylene B-benzotriazolyl tetramethylbutylphenol, or phenylbenzimidazole sulfonic acid in addition to ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, isoamyl p-methoxycinnamate, and the composition according to an example of may have a UV protection index of SPF15 or more, for example, SPF15 to SPF50, SPF30, SPF34, SPF45, or SPF50, or may also be PA +, PA + +, SPF + +, or SPF + +.

The composition for external skin preparations may be compounded with, as required, ingredients of external skin preparations generally used in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and the like, for example, aqueous ingredients, oily ingredients, powder ingredients, non-transparentizing agents, alcohols, moisturizers, thickeners, ultraviolet absorbers, whitening agents, preservatives, antioxidants, surfactants, perfumes, various skin nutrients or a combination thereof. The skin external preparation can be mixed with disodium edetate, trisodium edetate, sodium citrate, sodium polyphosphate, sodium metaphosphate, metal retarder such as gluconic acid, caffeine, tannic acid, verapamil, Glycyrrhrizae radix extract, glabridin, hot water extract of Kaolinitum fruit, various crude drugs, tocopherol acetate, glycyrrhizic acid, tranexamic acid and its derivatives or salts, vitamin C, magnesium ascorbate, ascorbyl glucoside, arbutin, kojic acid, glucose, fructose, trehalose, and other saccharides.

In the composition according to the embodiment of , the composition comprises pigment and silicone oil, thereby having the effects of covering scars and preventing or treating scars.

The prevention or treatment of the scar can be achieved by inhibiting the loss of moisture from the skin. Scarring occurs as collagen synthesis is active, since damaged skin increases water loss even when the wound heals. The composition can reduce water loss at the scar site by forming a film at the scar site to prevent scar formation or treat an established scar.

Therefore, the above composition has the effects as described above, and thus can be effectively used for preventing and/or treating scars, and covering scars.

The carrier may be an excipient, disintegrant, binder, lubricant, or a combination thereof. The excipient may be microcrystalline cellulose, lactose, low substituted hydroxy cellulose, or a combination thereof. The disintegrant may be carboxymethylcellulose calcium, sodium starch glycolate, anhydrous dibasic calcium phosphate, or a combination thereof. The binder may be polyvinylpyrrolidone, low-substituted hydroxypropylcellulose, or a combination thereof. The lubricant may be magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, talc, or a combination thereof.

The pharmaceutical composition can be prepared into non-oral administration dosage forms. The non-oral administration dosage form can be injection or skin external preparation.

Still another embodiment of the present invention provides a cosmetic composition for preventing or treating scarring comprising a pigment and a silicone oil.

The silicone oil, pigment and scar are as described above.

The cosmetic composition can be prepared in various forms, and for example, it can be prepared into dosage forms such as emulsion, lotion, cream (oil-in-water type, water-in-oil type, and multi-phase type), solution, suspension (anhydrous and water type), anhydrous product (oil and glycol type), gel, pack, peel pack, and powder. Also, the cosmetic compositions of the present specification may comprise a carrier acceptable in a cosmetic formulation. Herein, "a carrier acceptable in a cosmetic preparation" means a compound or composition known and used, or as a composition to be developed in the future, which may be included in a cosmetic preparation, and does not have toxicity, instability or irritation exceeding those adaptable to the human body when in contact with the skin. The above-mentioned carrier is contained in an amount of about 1 to about 99.99 weight percent, preferably about 90 to about 99.99 weight percent, relative to the total weight of the cosmetic composition in the present specification. Examples of the carrier include ethanol, oil, surfactant, fatty acid, humectant, viscosity modifier, emulsion, stabilizer, ultraviolet blocking agent, coloring agent, perfume, etc.

Still another embodiment of the present invention provides a method for preparing an external preparation for skin, including the steps of obtaining a th phase containing a silicone oil at step S1, obtaining a second phase by mixing and dispersing the silicone oil and a coloring matter at step S2, and mixing and dispersing a th phase and the second phase at step S3.

Silicone oil, pigment, scar and skin external preparation are as described above.

In the present specification, the term "dispersion" refers to a state in which solute particles are diffused in a solvent or a behavior of making such a state.

In the present specification, the term "mixing dispersion" may refer to a behavior of mixing and dispersing a sample.

In the above method, the pigment may be included in an amount of about 1 to about 30 weight percent, relative to the total weight of the skin preparation, but is not limited thereto.

The above steps S1, S2, and S3 may be performed at normal temperature.

The above step S1, step S2, and step S3 may be performed by dispersing, mixing-dispersing, pulverizing, or a combination thereof.

The above-mentioned dispersion or mixed dispersion may be carried out by a Milling (Milling) process. The Milling process may include, for example, Roll Milling (Roll Milling), Ball Milling (Ball Milling), Ball Milling (Bead Milling), Attrition Milling (Attrition Milling), Planetary Milling (Planetary Milling), Zet Milling (Zet Milling), Ring Milling (Ring Milling), or the like. For example, the roll milling may be performed by three stages of rolls.

When the dispersion is performed by the milling process, the pigment can be ground into finer particles, and the pigment can be uniformly dispersed in the silicone oil, so that the coating property or the spreading property can be improved without causing the agglomeration phenomenon.

In the method, th phase containing silicone oil and a second phase containing silicone oil and a pigment are prepared separately, instead of times mixing silicone oil and pigment, and then mixing and dispersing them, so that the diffusibility or coating property of the composition can be improved, and in the embodiment, the second phase can be prepared by mixing silicone oil and pigment and grinding.

Yet another embodiment of the invention provides a method for preventing, ameliorating, treating or ameliorating a scar, the method for preventing, ameliorating, treating or ameliorating a scar comprising the step of administering to a subject a composition comprising a pigment and a silicone oil.
