When the plate clamping and feeding device for the cold forging equipment is integrally installed behind a feeding hole of the cold forging equipment for use, feeding preparation is firstly carried out, raw material plates are laid on the middle supporting and conveying frame 1 from back to front, and the front ends of the raw material plates are ensured to be positioned under the driving roller 27, then the controller is operated to enable the vertical clamping plate translation cylinder 23 to firstly extend out, the vertical clamping plate 22 carries out clamping action, the left end face and the right end face of the raw material plates are clamped on the clamping roller 24, then the horizontal clamping plate lifting cylinder 26 is controlled to extend out to enable the horizontal clamping plate 25 to descend, the driving roller 27 is used for compressing the front end parts of the raw material plates, and then the cold forging equipment is started; after an upper die of the cold forging equipment is lifted to a set position, a driving motor of a driving roller 27 of the plate clamping and feeding device is started, the driving roller 27 rotates to drive the raw material plate to move forwards, and a clamping roller 24 rotates passively in the process of moving the raw material plate forwards to enable the raw material plate to be in a clamping and positioning state all the time, so that accurate positioning and conveying are guaranteed; stopping conveying after the front end of the raw material plate enters a working area of the cold forging equipment and is positioned at a set position above the lower die, and operating the cold forging equipment to perform cold forging and cutting; and by analogy, after the cold forging is completed and the cut-off formed workpiece is taken out, the conveying can be continued.

In order to avoid the interference of the movement, as a further modification of the present invention, the driving motor of the driving roller 27 is disposed at an end of the driving roller 27 away from the carrier roller 11.

In order to reduce the overhanging length dimension of the transverse clamping plate 25 and further reduce the complete deformation of the transverse clamping plate 25 due to self gravity, as a further improvement of the invention, a driving motor of the driving roller 27 is vertically arranged above the transverse clamping plate 25, and a power output shaft of the driving motor of the driving roller 27 penetrates through the transverse clamping plate 25 and is connected with the shaft end of the driving roller 27 through a gearbox.

In order to achieve sufficient conveying power, as a further improvement of the present invention, the pair of holding carriages 2 are provided in plural sets in the front-rear direction of the intermediate carrying carriage 1.

In order to increase the supporting strength of the vertical clamping plate 22 and the horizontal clamping plate 25, as a further improvement of the present invention, reinforcing ribs are provided on both the vertical clamping plate 22 and the horizontal clamping plate 25.
