grinding the ceramic tailings into powder, putting 85-95 parts by mass of the powder ceramic tailings and 5-8 parts by mass of calcium oxide into a flash furnace for roasting, and adding water for uniformly mixing to obtain a liquid matrix.

The invention relates to the technical field of titanium dioxide manufacturing, in particular to silicate composite titanium dioxide and a preparation method thereof.

Background

With the rapid development of ceramic industry in China, more and more ceramic products are wasted. The wastes are still simply treated in a landfill mode at present, occupy the land andaffecting the ecological environment. The chemical composition of the ceramic waste is basically silicon-aluminum, for example, the chemical component of the waste polished brick is SiO2:69.14%,Al2O3:21.20%,Fe2O3:0.89%,CaO:0.24%,MgO:0.48%,K2O:1.95%,Na2O: 1.12%, etc. The ceramic waste is generally fired at the high temperature of 700-1200 ℃, has excellent chemical stability and is not easy to degrade.

Titanium white is a fine chemical raw material, has strong covering power, tinting strength and opacity, and is mainly used as a white pigment. In the prior art, the titanium white is prepared by a sulfuric acid method or a chlorination method, and the cost and the supply are in short supply due to complex process, large energy consumption and serious pollution.

Therefore, there is a need to provide a new silicate composite titanium white to solve the above technical problems.

Disclosure of Invention

The invention mainly aims to provide a silicate composite titanium white and a preparation method thereof, and aims to solve the technical problems of complex production process and serious pollution of the existing titanium white.

In order to achieve the purpose, the preparation method of the silicate composite titanium dioxide provided by the invention comprises the following steps:

grinding ceramic tailings into powder, roasting the powder ceramic tailings and calcium oxide, and dissolving the roasted powder ceramic tailings and calcium oxide in water to obtain a liquid matrix;

step two, stirring the liquid matrix obtained in the step one, dehydrating and filtering, and taking dehydrated slag;

and step three, carrying out air grinding on the dehydrated slag obtained in the step two until the moisture content is less than 1%, and preparing the silicate composite titanium dioxide.

Further, the first step comprises:

The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be described clearly and completely below, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present invention, and not all embodiments. specifically, grinding ceramic tailings into powder, putting 85-95 parts by mass of the powder ceramic tailings and 5-8 parts by mass of calcium oxide into a flash furnace, roasting at 800-950 ℃, and uniformly mixing with water to obtain a liquid matrix.

The ceramic tailing can be powder generated in the polishing process of the polishing brick; or may be a disposable ceramic article. When the ceramic tailings can be powder generated during polishing of the polished tile, the grinding step can be omitted.

By sintering the powdery ceramic tailings, the content of dyeing impurity elements can be reduced, and the whiteness of the liquid matrix is improved; meanwhile, the aluminum silicate in the ceramic tailing undergoes crystal form transformation, so that the performance of the aluminum silicate serving as a carrier is obviously improved.

Step S2, stirring the liquid matrix obtained in the step S1, dehydrating and filtering, and taking dehydrated slag;

in one embodiment, the liquid matrix obtained in the step S1 is stirred for 20-40 min, and is dehydrated and filtered to obtain dehydrated slag, wherein the moisture content of the dehydrated slag is less than 15%.

Titanium dioxide generated by calcining in the ceramic tailing can be coated with aluminum silicate in the liquid state stirring process, so that the whiteness of the prepared silicate composite titanium white is improved. Compared with the traditional titanium dioxide preparation method in the prior art, the aluminum silicate replaces the titanium dioxide inner core. By filtering, soluble water substances can be filtered out, and substances such as pigment can be reduced.

In another embodiment, a titanium source is added into the liquid matrix obtained in the step S1, stirring is carried out for 20-40 min, dehydration filtration is carried out, and dehydrated slag is obtained, wherein the moisture content of the dehydrated slag is less than 15%.

In this embodiment, a titanium source is added to compensate for the insufficient titanium element in the ceramic tailings, and a person skilled in the art can select whether to add the titanium source according to the type of the ceramic tailings. The titanium source is titanyl sulfate. The titanyl sulfate is hydrolyzed in water to generate titanium dioxide.

And S3, performing air grinding on the dehydrated slag obtained in the step S2 until the moisture content is less than 1%, and preparing the silicate composite titanium dioxide.

Specifically, the dehydrated slag obtained in the step S2 is subjected to air milling until the moisture content is less than 1% and the particle size is less than 100nm, so as to prepare the silicate composite titanium dioxide.

Performing gas milling on the dehydrated slag to ensure that the particle size is less than 100nm and the powder is fine; meanwhile, the water content is controlled to be less than 1 percent so as to increase the covering power of the prepared silicate composite titanium white.

The preparation method provided by the invention has simple preparation steps; by roasting the ceramic tailing and calcium oxide, the CaO-Al can be generated by utilizing the aluminum silicate in the ceramic tailing2O3-SiO2A ternary system; step S2, aluminum silicate can be used as a carrier, and titanium dioxide is coated outside, so that the prepared silicate composite titanium white is increased; the ceramic tailings are utilized, so that the environment is protected.

The invention also provides the silicate composite titanium white prepared by the preparation method of the silicate composite titanium white.
