The microbial polysaccharide also has the advantages of short production period, no limitation of seasons, regions and pest conditions, low cost, realization of industrial production through fermentation and the like, and people are improving the yield of the commercial polysaccharide through different approaches.

The improvement of microbial productivity has become a hot point of research, and many scientists are continuously making efforts to screen out strains with high microbial polysaccharide yield by means of microbial breeding, but the mutation direction induced by microbial mutation breeding is difficult to grasp, and mutants are difficult to concentrate on a plurality of ideal traits.
