Background

The brown sugar is crude sugar prepared by taking sugarcane as a raw material and carrying out juice extraction, clarification, boiling and crystallization, and completely keeps the original flavor and nutrient substances of the sugarcane. Brown sugar is used as a sweetener in China and is regarded as a health-care product from ancient times to present.

However, the main components of the brown sugar are sucrose and reducing sugar, and the total sugar content (sucrose content + reducing sugar content) of the top-grade brown sugar in GB/T35885 & 2018 & ltbrown sugar & gt is more than or equal to 90.0 percent; meanwhile, the requirement of drying weight loss is less than or equal to 4.0 percent. The melanoidin has the effects of resisting oxidation, promoting iron absorption, inhibiting bacteria, reducing blood pressure, reducing blood sugar, resisting allergy, resisting mutation, protecting cardiovascular health and the like, and is also a main source of the efficacy of the brown sugar.
