Disclosure of Invention

Technical problem to be solved by the invention

However, a notch portion for improving the attachment of the door glass to the door panel may be provided in the periphery of the window opening of the door inner panel. In this case, since there is a possibility that water or dust or the like in the door panel intrudes into the door panel (a space between the door inner panel and the door outer panel) enters from an opening of the cutout portion of the door inner panel (hereinafter, simply referred to as "opening of the door inner panel") toward the vehicle compartment side, it is conceivable to close the opening of the door inner panel with a cover member. However, when the cover member is attached to the door panel, if the cover member is displaced from a predetermined attachment position at which the opening of the door inner panel can be closed, the operation of attaching the cover member may become complicated.

The present disclosure provides a cover member and a cover member mounting structure capable of improving operability when mounting the cover member to a door panel.

Means for solving the problems

A first aspect of the present invention is a cover member that is attached to a door panel of a vehicle at a predetermined attachment position and closes an opening from a vehicle compartment side, the cover member including a protruding portion, the door panel of the vehicle having a window opening formed in the door panel formed by a door inner panel on the vehicle compartment side and a door outer panel on an exterior side, the door inner panel being provided with a cutout portion cut out from the window opening to one side in a predetermined direction, the cutout portion being provided with a glass run seat supporting a glass run on the other side in the predetermined direction, the cutout portion and the glass run seat defining the opening therebetween. In the cover attachment state in which the cover member is attached to the door panel at the attachment position, the protruding portion protrudes from the opening toward the door inner space between the door inner panel and the door outer panel. In the cover-attached state, the other end of the protruding portion is opposed to or brought into contact with the one side in the predetermined direction with respect to a surface of the glass run channel base opposite to the window opening.

In the above configuration, the protruding portion of the cover member protrudes from the opening toward the door inner space side, and the end portion of the other side in the predetermined direction of the protruding portion opposes or abuts against the one side in the predetermined direction with respect to the surface of the glass run channel holder on the side opposite to the window opening in the cover attached state, so that when the cover member is attached to the door panel at the attachment position, the movement of the cover member to the other side in the predetermined direction (glass run channel side) can be restricted by the abutment of the end portion of the other side of the protruding portion with the glass run channel holder. Therefore, when the cover member is attached to the door panel at the above-described attachment position, the cover member can be easily positioned, and therefore, the operability of the attachment operation of the cover member can be improved.

A second aspect of the present invention is a cover member that is attached to a predetermined attachment position of a door panel of a vehicle and closes an opening from a vehicle compartment side, the cover member including a protruding portion, the door panel of the vehicle having a window opening formed in the door panel formed by a door inner panel on the vehicle compartment side and a door outer panel on an outside side, the door inner panel being provided with a cutout portion cut out from the window opening to one side in a predetermined direction, the cutout portion being provided with a glass run seat supporting a glass run on the other side in the predetermined direction, the cutout portion and the glass run seat defining the opening therebetween. In the cover attachment state in which the cover member is attached to the door panel at the attachment position, the protruding portion protrudes from the opening toward the door inner space side between the door inner panel and the door outer panel. The one end of the protruding portion faces or abuts the other side of the predetermined direction with respect to the edge of the cutout portion of the door inner panel.

In the above configuration, the protruding portion of the cover member protrudes from the opening toward the door inner space side, and the end portion on one side in the predetermined direction of the protruding portion opposes or abuts against the other side in the predetermined direction with respect to the edge portion of the cutout portion of the door inner panel opposing the glass run channel seat, so that when the cover member is attached to the door panel at the attachment position, the movement of the cover member to the one side in the predetermined direction (the side opposite to the glass run channel seat) can be restricted by the abutment of the end portion on the one side of the protruding portion with the door inner panel. Therefore, the cover member can be easily positioned when the cover member is attached to the door panel at the predetermined attachment position, and therefore, the operability of the attachment operation of the cover member can be improved.

A 3 rd aspect of the present invention is the cover member according to the 1 st or 2 nd aspect, which is attached to a door panel extending in a vertical direction of the glass run channel seat, wherein the predetermined direction is a front-rear direction or a vehicle width direction, and at least one of an upper surface and a lower surface of the protruding portion is inclined from the one side to below the other side or from the other side to below the one side.

In the above configuration, at least one of the upper surface and the lower surface of the protruding portion is inclined from one side to the other side of the predetermined direction, and from the other side to the one side of the predetermined direction. Therefore, when the upper surface of the projecting portion is inclined, water flowing downward in the door inner space and reaching the upper surface of the projecting portion can be guided to the other side or one side in the predetermined direction by the upper surface of the projecting portion when the water enters the door inner space. In addition, when the lower surface of the protrusion is inclined, when water enters the door inner space, the water flowing down along one side surface or the other side surface of the protrusion in the predetermined direction and reaching the lower surface of the protrusion can be guided to the other side or one side of the predetermined direction along the lower surface of the protrusion. That is, water flowing down through the door inner space can be guided in a desired direction (the other side or one side of the predetermined direction) by the protruding portion. Accordingly, for example, by inclining at least one of the upper surface and the lower surface of the protruding portion toward a region of the door inner space below the protruding portion where water is less likely to enter the vehicle compartment side, water can be prevented from entering the vehicle compartment side.

A 4 th aspect of the present invention is a cover member attachment structure for attaching any one of the cover members according to the 1 st to 3 rd aspects to a door panel, wherein the glass run has a cabin-side lip portion that covers a cabin-side surface of the glass run seat from a cabin side. The end portion of the cover member on the other side than the protruding portion is sandwiched between the cabin-side surface of the glass run seat and the cabin-side lip portion of the glass run.

In the above configuration, since the other end portion of the cover member is sandwiched between the cabin-side surface of the glass run seat and the cabin-side lip portion of the glass run, for example, in a case where the cover member is attached to the door panel by sandwiching the cover member between the glass run seat and the cabin-side lip portion of the glass run, the number of components can be suppressed, unlike a case where the cover member is fixed to the door panel by a bolt, a tape, or the like. Alternatively, even when the cover member is fixed to the door panel by a bolt, a tape, or the like, the other end of the cover member is sandwiched between the cabin-side surface of the glass run seat and the cabin-side lip of the glass run, so that the positional deviation of the cover member when the cover member is fixed to the door panel can be suppressed, and the workability of the mounting operation of the cover member can be improved.

Further, since the cover member is sandwiched between the cabin-side surface of the glass run seat and the cabin-side lip portion of the glass run, the cover member can function as a seal member that suppresses the intrusion of water into the cabin interior.

Effects of the invention

According to the present disclosure, the workability when attaching the cover member to the door panel can be improved.

That is, in the present embodiment, the cover member 10 is held between the glass run seat 13 and the vehicle-compartment-side lip 42 of the glass run 12, and between the door inner panel 4 and the door trim 6, thereby being attached to the side door 3. The cover pressing portion 6a of the door trim 6 faces the vehicle width direction inner side surface 4a of the door inner panel 4 on the vehicle width direction inner side of the vehicle width direction inner side surface 4a of the door inner panel 4.

In the cover member 10 configured as described above, in the cover attached state, the upper side protruding portion 30 and the lower side protruding portion 31 protrude from the opening 46 of the door inner panel 4 toward the door inner space 9 side, and the front surface 33 of the upper side protruding portion 30 and the front surface 36 of the lower side protruding portion 31 are disposed in the vicinity of the rear surface 32 of the opening portion inner region 20 of the glass run channel holder 13 in the rear direction and face the rear surface 32. Therefore, when the cover member 10 is mounted to the mounting position of the side door 3, if the cover member 10 is moved forward with respect to the predetermined mounting position, the front surface 33 of the upper protruding portion 30 and the front surface 36 of the lower protruding portion 31 come into contact with the rear surface 32 of the glass run channel 13, and therefore, the forward movement of the cover member 10 with respect to the predetermined mounting position can be suppressed.

In the cover attached state, the rear surface 47 of the upper protruding portion 30 and the rear surface 37 of the lower protruding portion 31 are disposed in the vicinity of the front of the opening rear edge 14c of the cutout portion 14 and face the opening rear edge 14 c. Therefore, when the cover member 10 is to be moved rearward with respect to the predetermined mounting position when the cover member 10 is mounted to the side door 3 at the mounting position, the rear surface 47 of the upper protruding portion 30 and the rear surface 37 of the lower protruding portion 31 come into contact with the opening rear edge 14c of the cutout portion 14, and therefore rearward movement of the cover member 10 with respect to the predetermined mounting position can be suppressed.

In the cover attached state, the upper surface 48 of the 2 nd linear portion 35 of the upper protruding portion 30 is disposed in the vicinity below the upper opening edge 14b of the cutout portion 14. Therefore, when the cover member 10 is to be moved upward with respect to the predetermined mounting position when the cover member 10 is mounted to the mounting position of the side door 3, the upper surface 48 of the 2 nd linear portion 35 comes into contact with the upper opening edge 14b of the cutout portion 14, and therefore upward movement of the cover member 10 with respect to the predetermined mounting position can be suppressed.

Further, when the cover member 10 is mounted to the side door 3, the opening lower edge 14a of the door inner panel 4 is inserted into the slit portion 24 of the cover member 10 from below, and the opening lower edge 14a is brought into contact with the upper end 24a of the slit portion 24, so that the cover member 10 can be easily positioned downward with respect to the opening 46 of the door inner panel 4.

Therefore, according to the present embodiment, the operability when the cover member 10 is attached to the side door 3 at the above-described attachment position can be improved.

The front surface 36 of the lower protruding portion 31 is arranged forward of the slit portion 24, and the upper surface 38 of the lower protruding portion 31 is inclined from the upper rear to the lower front. Therefore, the water flowing down through the door inner space 9 and reaching the upper surface 38 of the lower protruding portion 31 of the cover member 10 can be guided to the slit front region 26 side forward along the upper surface 38 of the lower protruding portion 31. Since the slit front region 26 is disposed on the vehicle width direction outer side of the door inner panel 4 on the door space 9 side, it is possible to favorably suppress the entry of water from the opening 46 of the door inner panel 4 to the vehicle compartment 2 side.

The front surface 36 of the lower protruding portion 31 is arranged forward of the slit portion 24, and the lower surface 39 of the lower protruding portion 31 is inclined downward from the rear upward side to the front downward side. Therefore, the water flowing down along the rear surface 37 of the lower protruding portion 31 of the cover member 10 in the door inner space 9 and reaching the lower surface 39 of the cover member 10 can be guided along the lower surface 39 of the lower protruding portion 31 toward the slit front region 26 in the front direction, and therefore, the entry of water from the opening 46 of the door inner panel 4 toward the vehicle compartment 2 can be favorably suppressed.

Further, since the cover distal end portion 19d of the cover member 10 is sandwiched between the vehicle width direction inner side surface 22 of the glass run seat 13 and the cabin side lip portion 42 of the glass run 12, the cover member 10 can be made to function as a seal member that prevents water from entering the cabin 2 side.

Further, since a partial region (for example, a region shown in a cross section in fig. 5) of the cover rear end portion 19c of the cover member 10 is sandwiched between the door trim 6 and the door inner panel 4, the region sandwiched between the door trim 6 and the door inner panel 4 in the cover rear end portion 19c of the cover member 10 can function as a seal member that prevents water from entering the vehicle compartment 2 side.

Further, since the cover member 10 is formed of a flexible porous material, it can effectively function as a sealing member that prevents water from entering the vehicle compartment 2 side.

The cover member 10 is sandwiched between the door inner panel 4 and the door trim 6, and is attached to the side door 3. Therefore, the number of components can be reduced as compared with a case where the cover member 10 is attached to the peripheral edge portion of the cut-out portion 14 of the door inner panel 4 by another member (for example, butyl tape, a bolt, or the like).

The cover member 10 is sandwiched between the glass run seat 13 and the cabin side lip 42 of the glass run 12, and is attached to the side door 3. Therefore, the number of components can be reduced as compared with a case where the cover member 10 is attached to the glass run seat 13 by another member (for example, butyl tape, a bolt, or the like).

The cover member 10 is sandwiched between the glass run seat 13 and the cabin side lip 42 of the glass run 12, and is attached to the side door 3. Since the thickness of the cabin-side lip portion 42 of the glass run 12 in the vehicle width direction is relatively smaller than that of the butyl tape, the thickness of the cover tip portion 19d of the cover member 10 in the vehicle width direction with respect to the attachment portion of the glass run 13 can be suppressed as compared with a case where the cover member 10 is attached to the glass run 13 with a butyl tape or the like, for example.

In the present embodiment, a part of the vertical region (for example, a region of which a cross section is shown in fig. 5) of the hood rear end portion 19c of the hood member 10 is sandwiched between the vehicle width direction inner side surface 4a of the door inner panel 4 and the door trim 6, but substantially the entire vertical region of the hood rear end portion 19c may be sandwiched between the vehicle width direction inner side surface 4a of the door inner panel 4 and the door trim 6. Alternatively, the cover rear end portion 19c of the cover member 10 may not be sandwiched between the vehicle width direction inner side surface 4a of the door inner panel 4 and the door trim 6.

Further, in the present embodiment, substantially the entire region in the vertical direction of the cover distal end portion 19d of the cover member 10 is sandwiched between the vehicle width direction inside surface 22 of the glass run 13 and the cabin side lip portion 42 of the glass run 12, but a region of a part in the vertical direction of the cover distal end portion 19d may be sandwiched between the vehicle width direction inside surface 22 of the glass run 13 and the cabin side lip portion 42 of the glass run 12. Alternatively, the cover distal end portion 19d of the cover member 10 may not be sandwiched between the vehicle width direction inner side surface 22 of the glass run seat 13 and the cabin side lip portion 42 of the glass run 12.

In the present embodiment, the cover member 10 is mounted to the side door 3 by being sandwiched between the glass run channel seat 13 and the cabin side lip 42 of the glass run channel 12 and between the door inner panel 4 and the door trim 6, but the present invention is not limited thereto. For example, the cover member 10 may be attached to the side door 3 by another member (for example, butyl tape, bolts, or the like) with the cover front end portion 19d of the cover member 10 being sandwiched between the glass run channel seat 13 and the cabin side lip portion 42 of the glass run channel 12, or with the cover rear end portion 19c of the cover member 10 being sandwiched between the door inner panel 4 and the door trim 6. In this case, since the cover member 10 is also pinched when the cover member 10 is attached to the side door 3 by the other member, it is possible to suppress positional deviation of the cover member 10 and improve the operability of the attaching operation of the cover member 10.

In the present embodiment, both the upper surface 38 and the lower surface 39 of the lower protruding portion 31 of the cover member 10 are inclined from the rear upper side to the front lower side, but the present invention is not limited to this, and either the upper surface 38 or the lower surface 39 may be inclined from the rear upper side to the front lower side, or both the upper surface 38 and the lower surface 39 may not be inclined in the front-rear direction.

In the present embodiment, the front surface 33 of the upper protruding portion 30 and the front surface 36 of the lower protruding portion 31 are disposed in the vicinity of the rear surface 32 of the opening inside region 20 of the glass run channel holder 13, and the rear surface 47 of the upper protruding portion 30 and the rear surface 37 of the lower protruding portion 31 are disposed in the vicinity of the front of the opening rear edge 14c of the cutout portion 14, but the present invention is not limited thereto. For example, instead of disposing the front surface 33 of the upper protrusion 30 and the front surface 36 of the lower protrusion 31 in the vicinity of the rear surface 32 of the opening inner region 20 of the glass slide holder 13 rearward, the rear surface 47 of the upper protrusion 30 and the rear surface 37 of the lower protrusion 31 may be disposed in the vicinity of the opening rear edge 14c of the cutout portion 14 forward, or instead of disposing the rear surface 47 of the upper protrusion 30 and the rear surface 37 of the lower protrusion 31 in the vicinity of the opening rear edge 14c of the cutout portion 14 forward, the front surface 33 of the upper protrusion 30 and the front surface 36 of the lower protrusion 31 may be disposed in the vicinity of the rear surface 32 of the opening inner region 20 of the glass slide holder 13 rearward.

In the present embodiment, the cover member 10 is provided with 2 protruding portions, i.e., the lower protruding portion 31 and the upper protruding portion 30, but at least one protruding portion may be provided.

In the present embodiment, the lower projecting portion (projecting portion) 31 of the cover member 10 is formed in a box shape having a substantially rhombic cross section and opening inward in the vehicle width direction, and the upper projecting portion (projecting portion) 30 is formed by the box-shaped portion 30a and the linear portion 30b, but the shape of the projecting portion is not limited to the above shape, and other shapes (for example, a linear rib or the like) may be used as long as the projecting portion projects outward in the vehicle width direction and at least one of the end portion on one side or the end portion on the other side in the front-rear direction is disposed in the vicinity of the front of the opening rear edge 14c of the cutout portion 14 or in the vicinity of the rear surface 32 of the area 20 inside the opening portion of the glass run channel holder 13.

In the present embodiment, the slit portion 24 is provided in the cover member 10, but the slit portion 24 may not be provided.

In the present embodiment, the slit rear region (cabin-side region) 25 of the cover member 10 is disposed on the vehicle width direction inner side of the door inner panel 4, and the slit front region (door inner region) 26 is disposed in the door inner space 9 on the vehicle width direction outer side of the door inner panel 4, but the slit rear region 25 may be disposed in the door inner space 9 on the vehicle width direction outer side of the door inner panel 4, and the slit front region 26 may be disposed on the vehicle width direction inner side of the door inner panel 4. In this case, at least one of the upper surface 38 and the lower surface 39 of the lower protruding portion 31 of the cover member 10 may be inclined from the front upper side to the rear lower side.

In the present embodiment, the clip insertion hole 29 is provided in the cover member 10, but the clip insertion hole 29 may not be provided.

In the present embodiment, the cover member 10 is formed of a flexible porous material, but is not limited thereto, and may be formed of another material (for example, a resin panel or the like).

In the present embodiment, the opening 46 of the cutout portion 14 behind the window opening 7 of the door inner panel 4 is closed by the cover member 10, but the present invention is not limited to this. For example, when the cutout portion is provided in front of the window opening 7 of the door inner panel 4, the opening of the cutout portion of the door inner panel 4 may be closed by the cover member 10.

Although the present invention has been described above based on the above embodiments, the present invention is not limited to the contents of the above embodiments, and it goes without saying that modifications can be made as appropriate without departing from the scope of the present invention. That is, it is needless to say that other embodiments, examples, application techniques, and the like, which are completed by those skilled in the art based on the present embodiment, are all included in the scope of the present invention.

For example, in the above-described embodiment, the cover member 10 and the cover member attachment structure of the present disclosure are applied to the side door (door panel) 3 of the vehicle 1, but may be applied to a back door (door panel) that can open the cabin 2 of the vehicle 1 rearward.

The present application is based on the japanese patent application filed on 3/13/2019 (japanese application 2019-.
