Background

When the bicycle is ridden, the cooperation of the various elements, the bottom forks (also called "bottom forks", b.b.) is important, which is the largest source of support when pedaling. The five-way bowl group with stable structure can improve the trampling smoothness and effectively transfer the trampling force. The following description is given by way of example only, and is not intended to limit the scope of the invention.

Referring to fig. 1 to 5, which illustrate a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the bottom bracket set of the bicycle of the present invention includes an axle tube 1 and at least one bearing seat 5.

The shaft tube 1 is arranged through a five-way tube, and the shaft tube 1 comprises at least one first thread section 6; the at least one bearing seat 5 is assembled on the shaft tube 1, and each bearing seat 5 includes a second threaded section 7 correspondingly combined with the first threaded section 6. The first thread segment 6 includes a plurality of threads 61, and an included angle formed by a thread surface 62 of any two adjacent threads 61 defines a thread angle 64, where the thread angle 64 is smaller than 40 degrees.

As can be seen from the above, the form of the five-way socket set belongs to a pair lock type, and the pair lock type can be further subdivided into two-piece type and three-piece type according to the different number of the bearing seats 5, in this embodiment, the number of the at least one bearing seat 5 and the number of the at least one first threaded section 6 are respectively one, that is, the five-way socket set of the two-piece pair lock is taken as an illustration in this embodiment.

It will be appreciated that the second thread segments 7 are of a matching size to the first thread segments 6, and therefore only the structure of the first thread segments 6 will be described.

In the present invention, the thread angle 64 is limited to be less than 40 degrees, so that the cross-sectional profile of the thread 61 is substantially trapezoidal, and compared with the thread of a general thread having an equilateral triangle shape, a crest 63 of the thread 61 having a trapezoidal cross-section has a larger cross-section, and can have a harder structure to effectively resist an acting force and be not easily broken, so when at least one of the shaft tube 1 and the at least one bearing seat 5 is made of a plastic material (in this embodiment, the shaft tube 1 and each bearing seat 5 are both made of a plastic material), the thread 61 made of the plastic material can have a longer service life and be not easily broken through the structural design, and light weight and durability can be considered at the same time. The thread angle 64 is preferably between 10 degrees and 30 degrees, as measured by practical use, while maintaining good rotational smoothness and structural strength, such as but not limited to 24 ± 1 degrees for the thread angle 64 in this embodiment.

Moreover, the screw threads 61 with the trapezoidal cross section can ensure that when the first thread section 6 and the second thread section 7 are screwed with each other, the tooth surfaces 62 of the two opposite screw threads 61 are tightly attached by the conical surfaces, which has the advantages of difficult loosening and strong combination degree, so that the bearing seat 5 can be stably connected with the shaft tube 1.

In addition, the thread pitch of the first thread segments 6 is preferably greater than 1.2mm, so that each thread 61 can have a larger space for specification and dimension to have a proper structural strength for matching with different use targets. Preferably, the ratio of the pitch of the first thread segments 6 to the crest 63 of the thread 61 is between 2 and 4, so as to ensure that each thread 61 produced and processed has at least a certain structural strength and can have a relatively clear processing standard for planning and designing. More specifically, the length of the first thread segments 6 in the extending direction of the shaft tube 1 is preferably greater than 10mm, so as to ensure that the whole first thread segments 6 and the second thread segments 7 have more engaging areas for stable combination. Furthermore, the length of the second thread segment 7 is greater than that of the first thread segment 6, so that the five-way pipe set can be extended or shortened with sufficient margin to match the five-way pipes with different lengths. In this embodiment, the first thread segments 6 are external thread segments and the second thread segments 7 are internal thread segments.

In addition to the above aspects, the shaft tube 1A and the bearing seat 5A shown in fig. 6 and fig. 7 may also be adopted, wherein the shaft tube 1 further includes at least one third thread segment 8, the third thread segment 8 and the first thread segment 6 are correspondingly disposed on the inner and outer walls of the same section of the shaft tube 1A, each bearing seat 5A further includes a fourth thread segment 9 correspondingly combined with the first thread segment 6, and the second thread segment 7 and the fourth thread segment 9 are correspondingly disposed on the inner and outer walls of the same section of the bearing seat 5A; when the bearing seat 5A is assembled on the shaft tube 1A, the first thread section 6 and the second thread section 7 are screwed together, and the third thread section 8 and the fourth thread section 9 are screwed together, so as to greatly improve the bonding strength between the bearing seat 5A and the shaft tube 1A.

More specifically, the shaft tube 1 further includes a main body 2 disposed inside the five-way tube, the main body 2 includes a first diameter section 21 and a second diameter section 22, the second diameter section 22 is larger than the first diameter section 21, and the first thread section 6 is disposed on the first diameter section 21. The stop portion 4 is formed at the stepped connection portion of the first diameter section 21 and the second diameter section 22, the maximum height of the thread 61 of the first thread section 6 is relatively higher than the outer surface of the second diameter section 22, and a portion of the second thread section 7 and the stop portion 4 are in an interference relationship in the extending direction of the shaft tube 1.

More specifically, the shaft tube 1 further includes a bearing portion 3, the first thread portion 6 and the bearing portion 3 are disposed at two opposite ends of the main body 2, the first thread portion 6 extends from an end surface 23 of the main body 2 toward the bearing portion 3, wherein the bearing portion 3 and the bearing seat 5 laterally clamp the five-way tube.

Preferably, the minimum tube thickness of the main body 2 is greater than 1.5mm to ensure a stronger structure to bear the applied force, in this embodiment, the tube thickness of the first diameter section 21 is 1.9mm, the tube thickness of the second diameter section 22 is 2.2mm, the stop portion 4 is spaced apart from the first threaded section 6, and the portion of the bearing portion 3 connected to the main body 2 is inclined.

In summary, the screw thread of the bottom bracket set of the bicycle of the present invention is substantially trapezoidal by improving the thread angle, so that the screw thread made of plastic has excellent structural strength, and the screw thread has a longer service life. And, at the same time, the thread pitch is limited to be at least larger than 1.2mm, so that the thread can have enough space for size planning, and can have a thicker section to resist the action of external force and is not easy to break.
