The UE further extracts, for each of the first code block and the second code block, a subset of the first number of coded bits and a subset of the second number of coded bits. The UE further concatenates the subsets of the first and second numbers of coded bits from the first code block and the second code block; and generating a concatenated code block for transmission, the concatenated code block comprising the concatenated subset of the first number of coded bits and the concatenated subset of the second number of coded bits.)
