Technical Field

The invention relates to a ship fairlead, in particular to a stern fairlead base.

Background

Mooring equipment, such as fairleads, is often required on the vessel's aft deck or platform. Along with the linear rising of stern outsole, the interval of outer bottom plate and deck has constantly dwindled, has increased the degree of difficulty that the structure was arranged. In particular, the space between the deck and the outsole at the stern board side is particularly narrow, and at this time, the fairlead base placed thereon can be aligned only with the original strong member, otherwise, stress concentration occurs due to difficulty in arranging the fairlead base support structure, which causes structural damage to the hull. On the other hand, the stern side line is contracted toward the inside of the ship, and when the fairlead is arranged on the stern side, the cable is easily contacted and rubbed with the ship structure, and in order to avoid this, the fairlead base needs to be extended outboard so as to be flush with the maximum ship width. These all add to the difficulty of designing the fairlead base.

The current fairlead base is generally a closed box base, the structure of which is shown in fig. 1, the box base 1 being in the deck area. However, for the fairlead arranged on the stern side, the base of the fairlead needs to meet the following two requirements: on the one hand, to align the strong members to prevent structural damage and on the other hand, to extend outboard to the maximum beam width to prevent contact friction of the cable with the hull structure. Therefore, the closed box type base has no small defect when being installed at the stern.

Detailed Description

In the following description, numerous specific details are set forth in order to provide a more thorough understanding of the present invention. It will be apparent, however, to one skilled in the art, that the present invention may be practiced without one or more of these specific details. In other instances, well-known features have not been described in order to avoid obscuring the invention.

In the following description, for the purposes of explanation, numerous specific details are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of the present invention. The following detailed description of the preferred embodiments of the invention, however, the invention is capable of other embodiments in addition to those detailed.

Referring to fig. 2, the present invention provides a stern fairlead base, wherein a stern fairlead base 10 is fixed at a stern board side, a fairlead is fixed on the upper surface of the stern fairlead base 10, the stern fairlead base 10 is composed of a plurality of side plates with the same height and a top plate 20 fixedly connected with the top edges 11d of the side plates, and the whole bottom edge of each side plate is vertically arranged on a deck.

With further reference to fig. 3, the side plates of the stern fairlead base 10 are composed of two transverse side plates 11 and at least two longitudinal side plates connected between the transverse side plates 11: the two transverse side plates 11 are arranged in parallel and perpendicular to the ship sailing direction, the transverse side plates 11 are trapezoidal steel plates, one end, close to the side, of the top edge 11d of each transverse side plate 11 horizontally extends to the outside of the side and is connected with the bottom edge 11a through the inclined edge 11b, two ends of each longitudinal side plate are perpendicularly welded between the two transverse side plates 11, a first longitudinal side plate 12 is welded between the longitudinal rear side edges 11c, far away from the side, of the two transverse side plates 11, and a second longitudinal side plate 13, connected with the end, close to the side, of the bottom edge 11a of the two transverse side plates 11, is welded between the two transverse side plates 11. At least one flat steel reinforcing rib 14 with the same length as the top edge 11d of the transverse side plate 11 is arranged between the two transverse side plates 11, the flat steel reinforcing rib 14 and the second longitudinal side plate 13 are crossed and welded, and the upper surface of the flat steel reinforcing rib 14 is welded with the upper surface of the top plate 20.

The base of the cable guider is formed by upgrading and transforming based on the traditional box-type base, as can be seen in the figure, the base of the cable guider can be regarded as two parts, and firstly, the box-type base 10-1 with stronger rigidity is formed by two transverse side plates 11, a first longitudinal side plate 12 and a second longitudinal side plate 13; and secondly, an open type extending mechanism 10-2 extending towards the outboard side is arranged on one side of the box type base 10-1, and the open type extending mechanism 10-2 extends the horizontal length of the top plate 20 of the base of the stern fairlead so as to avoid the friction between the cable of the fairlead and the ship body. In order to ensure the strength of the top plate 20, an inclined support mechanism is adopted at the bottom of the top plate, namely two trapezoidal transverse side plates 11 are used for providing support for the outer side edge of the top plate 20, and meanwhile, a plurality of flat steel reinforcing ribs 14 which are in cross connection with the second longitudinal side plate 13 are arranged on the lower surface of the top plate 20, so that the overall rigidity of the base of the cable guide is further improved. Wherein, the open meaning of open type extension mechanism 10-2 is: there is no steel material connected between the bevel edges 11b of the two transverse side plates 11, that is, the bottom of the open-type extending mechanism 10-2 is in a hollow open type, so that the steel material can be saved, and the installation efficiency of the fairlead base can be improved.

Wherein, each side plate can adopt plane steel to reduce the processing cost.

In an alternative embodiment of the present invention, the local bottom edge of the flat steel reinforcing rib 14 is welded to the upper surface of the deck, which means that the height of the flat steel reinforcing rib 14 can be equal to the height of each side plate, so that the lower side edge of the flat steel reinforcing rib 14 in the deck area is welded to the upper surface of the deck, which can improve the strength. In order to reduce the installation difficulty and save the steel materials, the height of the flat steel reinforcing ribs 14 is smaller than that of the side plates, and although the bottom edges of the flat steel reinforcing ribs 14 are not in contact connection with the deck, a certain strength improving effect can be achieved.

In an optional embodiment of the invention, the connecting part of the transverse side plate 11 and the longitudinal side plate adopts arc welding smooth transition, so that the stress at the welding part can be dispersed, and the welding part is broken due to overlarge local stress of local right-angle welding.

In an alternative embodiment of the invention, the outboard edge of the top plate 20 near the side is level with the side at maximum boat width.

In an alternative embodiment of the present invention, the first longitudinal side plate 12 and the second longitudinal side plate 13 are parallel and perpendicular to the two transverse side plates 11, and the distance between the first longitudinal side plate 12 and the second longitudinal side plate 13 is not less than 100mm, as shown in fig. 4. In another alternative embodiment, the first longitudinal side plate 12 is perpendicular to the two transverse side plates 11, the second longitudinal side plate 13 is arranged at the rear side at the stern and side junction, and the front side is connected to the side, as shown in fig. 7.

The fairlead base that this patent provided can effectively improve stress distribution, guarantees structural security, avoids the use of bent plate simultaneously, reduces the construction degree of difficulty, and reduction in production cost improves economic benefits.

The above description is of the preferred embodiment of the invention. It is to be understood that the invention is not limited to the particular embodiments described above, in that devices and structures not described in detail are understood to be implemented in a manner common in the art; those skilled in the art can make many possible variations and modifications to the disclosed embodiments, or modify equivalent embodiments to equivalent variations, without departing from the spirit of the invention, using the methods and techniques disclosed above. Therefore, any simple modification, equivalent change and modification made to the above embodiments according to the technical essence of the present invention are still within the scope of the protection of the technical solution of the present invention, unless the contents of the technical solution of the present invention are departed.
