Technical Field

The invention relates to a clutch for a motor vehicle, for example for a motorcycle, a passenger vehicle, a utility vehicle or another commercial vehicle, having a pressure plate which can be moved axially in the direction of a counterplate/counterplate, a leaf spring connected between the counterplate and the pressure plate, said leaf spring being attached on the one hand to the pressure plate and on the other hand to the counterplate.

Background

In particular, in a motorcycle clutch which is generally provided with a plate spring reinforcement, by using a plate spring as a reinforcement member, most of the moment is guided by the plate spring. Based on the angle of erection of the leaf spring, the circumferential force generated by the torque is converted into an axial force, which preferably increases the pressing force during traction operation, thereby increasing the torque capacity of the clutch. To achieve a corresponding reinforcement, the leaf spring angle must be sufficiently large. This often leads to installation space problems. The angle of erection here generally corresponds to the leaf spring angle, i.e. the angle predetermined by the preforming of the leaf spring/bending spring.

Disclosure of Invention

The object of the invention is to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art and in particular to realize a still more reinforced (motorcycle) clutch with a leaf spring insert. The axial installation space should be kept small. Nevertheless, a large enhancement effect should be achieved.

According to the invention, this object is achieved in a clutch of this type by: the leaf spring has at least one pre-bent projection which projects into a recess/cutout of the pressure plate or counter-pressure plate.

The stiffening effect is also achieved in a limited axial space by erecting the leaf spring and a purposefully preformed leaf spring can be used, wherein the leaf spring is preformed on one or both sides next to the connection point, whereby the erection angle/leaf spring angle becomes larger1And leaf spring angle α is set in the presence of the pre-form2. Corresponding recesses are provided in the plate/counter-pressure plate for the preforming. The angle can be increased by preforming, the bending length remaining constant.

Depending on whether the leaf spring is tensioned or bent during the traction operation, the preforming can be used specifically to set the degree of the increase/decrease in the contact pressure and thus to adapt to the respective application. If, for example, the leaf spring is bent during traction operation, the circumferential force to be transmitted causes a further bulging, as a result of which the leaf spring angle increases again and more torque can also be transmitted. In the sliding direction, i.e. when the leaf spring is pulled, it is increasingly lengthened, as a result of which a smaller erection angle is obtained and therefore a smaller reduction in the contact pressure occurs during the sliding operation.

Advantageous embodiments are claimed in the dependent claims and are set forth in detail below.

It is therefore advantageous if the leaf spring has two (near-end) projections which are present on different sides of the leaf spring.

It is also practical for both the pressure plate and the counter-pressure plate to have recesses for receiving the projections of the leaf springs accordingly, the angle α being able to be selected particularly greatly here2

Deep drawing and/or non-cutting manufacturing methods can be relied upon for cost reduction if the leaf spring has a thickness that remains constant.

It has also proven effective for the leaf spring to be attached to the pressing plate and/or counter-pressing plate by means of rivets (respectively).

It is furthermore advantageous if the projection passes through a radial plane twice.

A particularly wide range of applications can be achieved if the clutch is provided as a motorcycle clutch.

In other words, the invention finally relates to a recess for a pre-bent leaf spring in a press plate for using a leaf spring reinforcement. In order to reduce the installation space required in the axial direction, a clutch is proposed in which the pressure plate has a recess into which a preformed section of the leaf spring riveted to the pressure plate projects in order to achieve a more steeply rising leaf spring for utilizing the self-reinforcement. The plate spring is riveted to the counter plate or the clutch cover at the other end thereof. If the leaf spring is riveted to the counter plate, the counter plate can also have a corresponding recess which is combined with a pre-formed section of the leaf spring in the region of the recess. The same applies to the riveting to the clutch cover.

Detailed Description

Fig. 1 shows a detail of a clutch 1 according to the invention. The clutch 1 is intended for a motorcycle, but can also be used for other motor vehicles.

There is an axially displaceable pressure plate 2 to which the leaf spring 3 is fixed. Furthermore, a counter plate 4 is also present, to which the leaf spring 3 is also fastened. Here, the caulking portions 5 are used to fix the plate spring 3 to the pressing plate 2 and the counter pressing plate 4, respectively.

The leaf spring has a projection 6 which fits into a recess 7 of the compression plate 2. Of course, the counter pressure plate 4 can also have a recess 7 into which the projection 6 of the leaf spring 3 fits.

The leaf springs are shown in isolation in fig. 2 and 3.

The projection 6 is configured in the manner of a dome. There is an eyelet 8 for receiving a rivet of the rivet 5. Each of said holes 8 is configured as a circular through hole.
